Kukaka insect cafe- Akim!

(I’m posting this mostly for myself and to document my thoughts on the dolls i get!!)

I got Akim as a gift for my birthday, and at first, I was genuinely convinced she was a girl but according to the discord server she isn’t, but I will continue to refer to her as she as thats how I see my own doll, ANYWAYS!

She’s absolutely adorable, I love the art style of the box, the card, and the doll itself, BUT they do have a lot of quality control issues, nothing major but it is enough for the average person to feel disappointed by it, I paid for her almost as much as I did for my UFdoll blindbox, with way less accessories.

I don’t regret getting her at all, shes very unique and I can’t find any other dolls with similar proportions or artstyle! But here are the problems I’ve seen this doll have so far:

-antennas breaking easily in the cold and during transit.

-their bug abdomens fall out very easily.

-akim’s outfit is very thick (velcro, shirt, vest, all get in the way of the wing magnets).

-akim’s ahoge breaks off easily.

Would I get one again?

yes!! Maybe not from this line, but I’ll definitely be looking out for their future releases!!! It’s understandable that the current line has some issues, it IS their first release, and a lot of these issues were brought to their attention, and they stated they are working on them!

Thia is Akim. As you can see he was inspired by Ghost Rider. He was born with this ability of transforming himself into the demon of Justice and vengeance. His bone-saw is actually made of bones of the human beings that brought harm on the innocents. One of his abilities are blowing fire, making the evil human beings feel non-stop pain, throwing his bone-saw and making it return to him (just like a boomerang). He also has a feathery friend. And that friend is a dove and not a normal dove. This dove can transform itself into a flaming skeleton creature and it's as big as a griffin. The dove name is Vengeance and Akim is able to ride on.
