1. favorite fic you wrote this year

i cannot believe the amount of fics I wrote this year that I forgot about. I think I really like this one with an obnoxiously title that I’m not going to write here XD it hurts me right in my nostalgia akkask 

3. favorite line/scene you wrote this year

I really liked this little scene from no greater pain (than loving someone who will never love you). mostly because I kind of made the first paragraph up? Nowhere in any Hanahaki lore that I’ve seen is there anything about what happens with the flowers after death. And I thought it was a neat once in a blue moon idea:

“Number Five had seen someone with Hanahaki once. Or rather, he’d seen them after the disease had run its full course, he’d seen their corpse. He’d seen the way the bright morning glories and blood red roses climbed and curled out of the woman's mouth, twisting around her hair and climbing up the walls, the stench of death and rot and sickly sweet roses filling her apartment. He’d seen the thorns and wondered how much it must’ve hurt to vomit it that up. How much pain she must've been in when her love shredded her insides. The books he’d found on Hanahaki in the apocalypse had failed to mention that after death, flowers would burst from the bloating body, feeding on decaying flesh and blooming bright and gory on the skin.

It was, Five thought, a slow and terrible way to go.

It was with a certain degree of bitter irony that the flowers began to grow in his lungs with his return to 2019, tasting faintly of his recently consumed peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich. He glared at the petals in his palms, a damning sign of what he was doing and how little the universe, and everyone else for that matter, cared for his efforts.”

11. fandom you enjoyed writing for the most this year

i enjoyed writing the most for the tua fandom!!!! the majority of my mutuals i found there and I love y'all 🥺 plus there's lot of interaction/commenting in the tua fandom so akaksk instant validation. 

12. favorite character to write about this year

i already answered this one so maybe another of my favorites which has been probably the Five-and-Doctor dynamic??? It got out of hand so fast but in the most fun of ways. And I didn’t expect them to become as good friends as they did?

I tend to call people “my guys” or “my dudes” and compliment them by saying things like “pretty” and “beautiful,” regardless of their gender (without really thinking about it). So, if I say one of these things (or anything, really) and it makes you even the slightest bit uncomfortable, please please tell me!! I know that words like these have naturally strong gender connotations, so it’s perfectly understandable that having them used to describe you might make you feel awkward/uncomfortable/etc., but I can promise that that wasn’t my intention in the slightest and I will do anything I can to make you feel comfortable and good and loved. So, please let me know and I’ll make sure to use different words. ♡♡♡♡♡
