The cover features a geometrical pattern known as the flower of life depicted in gold in front of a black background with various embellishments also in gold surrounding it. The flower of life symbolizes unity and the cycle of creation. It is fitting, as the albums title, Sempiternal, means never ending, as is the cycle of life.

Music opinions/notes:

So far their most experimental and ambitious album. The band took the foundation laid from the previous album and expanded upon it. With Jordan Fish joining the band, his influence really shines through with the electronics and symphonic sounds. Oli also started doing clean singing along with his screaming, and he sounds a lot more emotional overall. Lyrically, this albun carries on the themes of their previous work, along with Oli's personal experiences with therapy and rehab. All this combined with heavy, interesting, and atmospheric instrumentals make this one of the most iconic and quintessential metalcore albums of all time.

who are your favorite groups?

ateez stray kids i listen to a bunch, but actually stan i'd say only ateez and skz.

when did you discover them?

ateez: january '23 stray kids: between january and febuary '23, but not long after ateez (although i technically saw and heard the debut song ages ago and only connected once i saw it again in '23)

which member sparked your interest?

ateez: oh god, it was halazia era and mv, so all of them, ngl, i don't think there was one in particular. stray kids: felix, bc the first thing i saw was MAMA stage and him singing MANIAC with black hair and i was like: "what is this man's voice?" so yeah, felix def.

who was your first bias?

ateez: hard one, but i'm gonna say san, yunho or mingi, i can't really remember. stray kids: felix and hyunjin for sure, i dont remember which one tho, but it was one of the two (or both).

who is your current bias?

ateez: all of them, but i have to admit, i have a soft spot for san and yunho the most, but i will say san ult. stray kids: this is actually hard, bc just like ateez i'll say all of them, but i do have a soft spot for danceracha and accept my fate as minho ult.

why are they your current bias?

ateez: this is actually a really hard question, bc like, if we talking about ot8, they are like, some of my comfort people? i love how truthfull they are, you can see how genuine they are everytime. and why san is my ult? i have no real idea? i think its just the whole vibe he gives, the manners, his personality in general, how he can be a cute potato while looking like that, like idk, him in general? stray kids: again, same here, ot8 and kinda for the same reasons? they are kinda like my comfort people, i just love to watch them, and laugh with them and how genuine they look on camera. as to minho being my ult? also no idea for sure? i just love how chaotic he is but also so caring and sweet? like have you seen him? like actually seen him? he acts all tough (and he is, c'mon that man can lift any of those guys and hold them in a piggyback ride without a drip of sweat) but he's actually one of the sweetest most caring passionate people! idk, just him in general, the vibes and how he is with the others kinda made me like him the most, ig?

who is your bias wrecker?

ateez: again, all of them. when the new tour started it was seonghwa, but since 'not okay' released its been wooyoung. stray kids: again, all of them. but currently i'd say maknae line, both seungmin and jeongin, idk why, dont ask me to elaborate.

which members are you currently obsessing over that aren't your bias/bias wrecker?

ateez: jongho (ifykyk, i wont elaborate on that). stray kids: it was chan (he is bf coded i'm sorry), but as of the last week changbin took his place.

what are some of your favorite songs by this group?

ateez: treasure, inception (ult favorite until the last two albuns, but forever lives in my heart), fever medley (that is perfection), halazia (first song i've heard of them and will forever be a masterpiece, song and mv wise), pirate king (will you be my friend? a forever icon), the world ep1 (yes the whole damn album), paradigm, world ep2 (another masterpiece, the whole album is *chefs kiss*), not okay (i'm not okay with the song - bc its perfect - nor after watching the mv - also perfect), and of course the last album bc lets be honest, a masterpiece that THE WORLD EP:FIN is!. stray kids: oh the list is also long, lets see *crack knucles*. hellevator (bc this is an anthem idc what anyone says), district nine (another iconic debut along with ateez and some other bands), venom (honestly? perfection, if you dont agree dont talk to me), MIROH (this song is *chefs kiss*), double knot and battle ground (i feel like a MC going for a fight with the villan, idk dont ask), mix tape (all of them, period), easy (easily the love of my life i love this song so much), God's menu (idk why it just is, dont ask me to elaborate), FAM (do i really need to say it?), WOW & Taste (i dont think need to elaborate), red lights (please, lets be real), secret, secret (i still cry sometimes when i listen to this song), DOMINO (idc what anyone says this song is *chefs kiss*), christmas evel (the only christmas song i listen on repeat without a care in the world), maze of memories (there's a reason i love this song and why it inspired me to write my book, okay?), 3rd eye (THIS MF SONG IS SO AAH), charmer (idk this song speaks to me on multilevels dont ask me to elaborate bc i cant), 3RACHA (DO I SERIOUSLY NEED TO ELABORATE?), also since we are at it: HEYDAY (AGAIN, DO I SERIOUSLY NEED TO ELABORATE THIS MASTERPIECE?), the whole SKZ-REPLAY album (that's it), the sound (have you heard this? and asking me to elaborate?), five star and rock star albuns (bc lets be honest they are fucking masterpieces okay? you can argue with the wall), and special mention to cover me bc that song is pure perfection.

have you ever been to one of their concerts?

no bc, one: stray kids have never been to my country. two: when ateez came i didnt have money (and it was super expensive since i had to take a plane and pay for a place to stay and everything) and my mom only found them (became an atiny) after kcon '23, and she only then went like: "we could go see them if they ever come" and i told her they'd be here in like a week, so we watched the show from someone's live and that was when my mom accept her fate of being an atiny.
