Someone covering their sleepy partner's sneezes.

The two of them are sat on the bed, A's back against the headrest, B sat atop their lap.

Nice, sleepy conversation is happening and they're both sharing in each other's touch, exchanging gentle gestures. A has their hands on the outside of the other's thighs, gently caressing with their thumbs back and forth. B places their hands on top of their partner's, also caressing them. Eventually their hands and arms end up entangled while they continue whatever conversation they're having.

Laughing, yawning, the conversation starts to slow down and both can feel the weight of sleep. A has beat their partner to it, seeming almost asleep against the headrest. B looks at them and leans in to place some kisses to their cheek, soaking up this last bit of bliss before the night takes them both. They exist there for a moment until they hear A's breath hitch, almost as if they were startled, which causes B to move back.

"Oh! I'm sorry, love, didn't mean to startle you."

Only when they finally pull all the way back to see A's face do they realize what's actually happening.

The sweet, sleepy one is caught at the mercy of an impending sneeze, but isn't awake enough to do anything about it.

B pulls the sleeve of their sweater all the way to their hand and raises their arm to cover the sleepy sneezes, which land on the inside of their wrist.

"tisshu! hhi'tzishU!"

B smiles at their endearing mess of a partner and chuckles at what just happened, wiping A's nose with their sleeve.

"Bless you," they whisper, then caress their cheek.

A sniffles and leans into B's touch, eyes slowly blinking open. At first, they look at B and offer a small smile, placing their hand on the other's arm. Then they look with a bit of confusion. Bless you? Why? they think to themselves. It's not until the tickle builds again that they realize what's happened.

"Hmm? Snf! Oh hhi-! Sorry angel, I hha-!'tdjishu!" They throw the sneeze to their side. "Mm, 'scuse me, snf!" A bit congested. "I didn't get you, did I?"

"Bless you," they say again, hushed. "You didn't, don't worry. I got you, though." B swipes again at A's nose with their sleeve and the two share a look, then a laugh.

"I see. Thank you very much, sweetness."

The two soon become an entanglement of limbs as they lay down and drift off.
