I thought I'd share screencaps of the design Mayu did, and how Yuki's bow design got updated. I'm seeing some speculate the product ending up being Nyammy and Lillian's transformation items, but, idk, would those fit comfortable to their team wide item pocket?

Like, imo they don't look any different, so I'd assume the transformation item remains same size. Maybe my spoiler-fobic mode has missed some obvious hint as well. I don't know! Or maybe the Mirror Stone transforms one of those items into a more round pact, that is definitely an idea.

Now, on Yuki's updated bow design, it is now a more solid object like Komugi's, with a ribbon-with-a-heart pattern on it. I find it cute, and it definitely looks like it can be the similar transformation item between becoming a human and a cat, like Komugi's. I just know I'm sad the snowflake design is gone, but I also realise it's not as convenient.

Did Yuki's bow design change again??

Her human form debuted? She turned into Precure offscreen? She's going solo???

This is completely new approach for me in Precure shows and I'm loving it oh my god-

Ah the ep itself was really good too, I loooooove Iroha Satoru Komugi dynamic so fricking much and the classmates are enjoyable as well. Also love Mayu and Yuki so far so much aaaah feels good to like this season this much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

WonderPre ep 2 watched and oh man I love Iroha!

Couple things we learned: Komugi's ribbon has a new symbol on it, definitely to indicate her powers as a Precure. AND: the doggo now speaks in her dog form asfjhghsfkjf.

We also learned that Komugi was a rescued dog per say? Stray one? Like, Komugi found her all alone and scared, and took her to vetetarian? And slowly gained her trust but showing Komugi kindness and patience. Really, it truly made me adore Iroha, and understand why Komugi loves Iroha so.

Mayu also visited Iroha's family... store? I need to recheck what Iroha's family occupation was again, haha. But like, she found an accessory tha really fits Yuki. And, as Iroha's father pointed out: she clearly loves Yuki. Also, confirmed she's around same age as Iroha and Satoru.

Now, relating to Daifuku's backside... he indeed does not have a heart shape. Which makes me wonder what the point of the heart on both Komugi and Yuki's backhead is. As I would have assumed Daifuku to have one too.

Also, Iroha's dream reminds me too much of usual Pokémon protag dreams askfjhsfjfsskjff. Very wonderful (cough) dream of her!

Soo, Iroha was told to not tell anyone about Precures and Garugarus (that was actually named by Komugi. Not not an official name per say), but she really, really want to tell Satoru. Because she knows he could be of help. And the next bit is what made me really like Satoru too.

Bad screenshot timing but, he basically apologized for putting unneeded pressure on Iroha about the weird black colored creatures rumored to have appeared. Like, of course he wants to know, but he also clearly realises Iroha cannot tell him. At least yet. And he also assures that if she ever feels trouble, she can tell him. This is very sweet of him and I already can tell I'm gonna adore Iroha and Satoru dynamic.

Now, about Iroha's henshin to Cure Friendy: I thought it was way better than Komugi's. As in, the choreograph or however you wanna call the movement and happenings on the scene felt way more interesting and more fun to animate. Komugi felt a bit.... stiff? Not stiff as in bad animation but stiff in that, it was good animation but not a lot happened on the screen.

Like these parts are so darn lively with Iroha! And the transformation parts itself were so goooood, I really adore her.

I think she has a strong chance of joining my fav cures list as well.

AND, we got the usual "omg what is happening" scenario from her! Thou instead of high jumps it's high speed.

Y'know, the way her approach to helping the Garugaru is talking to it and introducing herself and keeping a calm, friendly voice of genuine wanting of helping is really adorable of her, and while it does seem like that, for now, the battles are more about helping the Garugaru to calm down, I'm liking this fresh change of battling. I'm sure that, once we get to know the truth behind garugaru's, things will change.

Next week, we'll be visiting Niko Garden and and I would assume that it is also when Satoru is clued in on everything, as he is finding the garugaru egg first before the girls this time around. Also, this garugaru is definitely the bunny from the poster and opening. Look at the jewel, it's different from others. I'm excited!

Ooooh Mayu also has artist skills, gosh she's gaining relatable points. And the story of how she and Yuki met ;v; So touching, I love them so much aaaaahhh. Also, this confirms Yuki is like... was it said Mayu found her during fourth grade? And now they're like, 8th grade? So st least over 4 years old. And Yuki got a new design on bow, that's got to be a soon-to-be-precure build up! Esp. since she saw the Precures in action today. While Mayu was dead-on focused on drawing that new product design :D

Very enjoyable ep, I'm liking this season a lot so far!

Definitely enjoyed ep 3 of WonderPre. Satoru and Daifuku's characters were well introduced, Daifuku may be quiet but he clearly cares fo Satoru's safety, pulling him away from touching a clearly-not-safe egg. Also the way he kept staring back and forth between Satoru and weird egg was like.... wow. A neat detail. it really felt like Daifuku was constantly keeping track of Satoru and the egg.

Gonna rewatch with subs on Crunchyroll tomorrow after woken up. But next week is Mayu and Yuki proper introduction, yahoo!

Yuki looks so mad at Iroha and Komugi dragging Mayu into Precure stuff lol. But boy was ep 14 so fricking good! And Daifuku staring at Satoru and Satoru thinking Daifuku accuses him of being jealous of the friendship between Iroha and Mayu asfhjgfjshfsfjhfsg.

Really good episode, very curious to see when Yuki gets found out lol.

Alright, my mobile data allowed me to watch WonderPre ep 12 from Crunchyroll without lagging, nice nice!

Couple thoughts on the ep. It seems my mobile data is bad with uploading images so, no images, despite me taking screencaps lol.

The way Satoru reacted to Iroha being happy to see him (because she knows Satoru knows about animals all alike so asking him about Yuki's odd disappearances is perfect!) was really, really cute, but also, the classmates clearly know Satoru has a crush on Iroha because they giggled with Satoru not understanding why lol.

Then, the way Mayu reacts to Iroha saying they're friends. Mayu clearly has some sort of background where either she's been unable to make friends with anyone before, or whenever she's made friends in the past they ended up backstabbing her or smth. I just know I kind of relate to her reaction here? She feels genuine happiness at Iroha being her friend. She even acknowledges her reaction to it is a bit odd and tries to act normal to Iroha.

Also, the episode really showcased cats well imo. They're elusive, able to do all kinds of tricks to get where they want (be it outside or hidden rooms or just out of a room lol), and well, can either be loving or very, well, "staring into your soul because not entirely happy". Yuki mostly seemed low-key pissed in today's ep lol.

Then the scene where Mayu rushed off after Iroha and Komugi because the girls really didn't realise they should have told Mayu to stay put and wait in peace because oh my god she got attacked by Garugaru and was shown to be in genuine horrified fear and my god the animators did an excellent job at that scene! Then Yuki- ahem, mystery Cure comes to save her and only utters same words as the blonde girl last ep did: You mustn't get involved. Yuki cares about Mayu so much fellas-.

Ahem. We also see that right now, Yuki is fighting Garugarus like a traditional Precure would. Physical fighting. It would seem she doesn't consider Garugaru to be corrupted beings, as well, no one has told her so. She thinks they need to be dealt with no matter what. It's only after Cure Friendy goes in front of the Garugaru that she stops attacking. Because Friendy knows it's a corrupted animal. That they don't deserve to be attacked for being corrupted, that deep down they're gentle animals deserving to be rescued. Nyammy's reaction to that says enough. She starts feeling conflicted about that, for sure. We'll see if she starts struggling next ep or whether she's not convinced about the change of battle style to chasing style yet. I guess she'd need to learn more from Friendy and Wonderful. Because those two have been told all the necessary info. While Nyammy is all alone, fighting Garugarus to make sure no harm can come Mayu's way. She's such a loving cat y'all-

So like, considering this ep pretty much aligns with my thoughts on the chasing scene decision and all, I'm quite curious of how things will develop. it is entirely possible the fighting scenes return later with a proper, perfectly reasonable way. Like the big bad wolf that's been teased couple times not being a corrupted being but actual, genuine bad fella who needs to be taught a lesson.

But yeh. For viewers it's clear who Nyammy is, but for the cast it's not yet. I am totally looking forward to seeing how Mayu's precure status comes to play, and how Nyammy ends up joining Wonderful and Friendy. Gosh this series has me hooked so well so far.

Man, I'm really enjoying Wonderful Precure.

The pacing so far has been much to my liking, I like how there's been nice focus on all three pairs, and that we've already learned quite a bit of the cast.

I am very excited to watch more of this season! I also noticed the movie poster which implies gaming theming, that's quite cool!

Oooh Mey Mey ended up helping Komugi become a student at Iroha's School. That's neat, guess he has some weird connections. Watching more of the ep thou, but I found that neat.

I am having a headache so excuse me for no proper commentary on ep 4 of WonderPre but like... just to quickly say it, I really like Yuki and really like Mayu. And I definitely look forward to hearing their full story.
