Hmm~ Whew, the weather today's just perfect for relaxing atop a tree.

Compared to the terribly exciting life I've been leading lately, this kind of leisurely routine just suits me better.

Could honestly go on a whole tangent about Meroron and how Interesting her character is... like. She obviously remembers everything, and is keeping Purirun away from the Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure so she won't get her memories back... but there's also the fact that she clearly still has some feelings for Purirun? Which is odd, because we all thought that she'd give those up when doing the  Heart Kirari Lock. SO??? WHAT IS HAPPENING???

Purirun's ribbon also lost color. While Meroron's ribbons are fine.

It really, really feels like she lost absolutely nothing, and all that happened was her getting Purirun to forget about Uta. I am so mad at her HNNNNNNNNGHGHH (which honestly feels like the intend and that makes me ever curious of her character direction!!!)

Which does make me wonder if she's kinda done this before and doesn't remember it..... HMMMMMMM.

Thus the lock already would have something she forgot. But it needed Purirun's wish as well to grant Precure powers.

Could... could that work?

was able to watch the episode and yeah it was a little silly but the animation quality did go up in the second half! Also the “I don’t know you 🙂” scene GUTTED me. Ouch!!

also. I figured out that people were rubbed the wrong way with that one scene in which the girls are looking for You-Know-Who and briefly mistake what turns out to be a man wearing makeup and a flashy outfit for the person in question, and they react in over-the-top shock once they see their face. Which. Yeah I can understand how that joke didn’t land the way the writers thought it would 😔

Ooooh, that. I guess you can see I didn't think much of it since I completely forgot about it LOL.

I just knew it would be a drag queen joke of a kind the moment it got laid up upon lol. I didn't find it offensive. Maybe I've just seen it too many times in my life time that it's just, pretty normal of a joke for me. Yes I'm old. If someone feels offended, then ok. But I highly doubt that was even on their minds when doing it.

But yeh, the end of the ep is heart-wrenching and I was just there wanting to squeeze the air out of Meroron for like.... WHY?????

looking forward to watching the episode but apparently people are saying there’s a transphobic moment and I?? Would like to know what it is before I go watch so I can be prepared for it???

I don't exactly keep up with such stuff so I have no idea what's been said. It's not in my field of knowledge.

For me the ep was maybe a bit overly silly (until the latter half), but animation quality on later half is really good.

So.

Meroron remembers Purirun and Idol Precures. She still calls Purirun, atm only known to us as Cure Zukyoon, onee-sama. She clearly hasn't forgotten about her. So is all that she forgot being her feelings towards Purirun?

Purirun on the other hand forgot everything after leaving Kirari land for the first time. It somehow feels like Purirun paid a greater price than Meroron. Will there possibly be a falling out between Purirun and Meroron, if their memories get returned? I mean... Zukyoon was very open to being friends with Idol. Heck, she seems to know she's there to protect her. But Kiss said no. And Zukyoon just... accepted it and went ways with her? Kinda odd. But also helps in keeping me interesting in watching more. A good hook for sure.
