Making pleated floral blouse. Just a quick post on how I made this blouse. Starting with fabric: a nice drapey floral pink fabric, woven. Pattern: Prima free shift dress pattern that came with a magazine. I adapted this in several ways that could be done with any shift dress pattern. Firstly I used the top half to make it into a blouse. I took out the darts to make it loose and flowy and went up a size also. I then traced the top and added in pleats with a bit of help from a sewing book. Lastly I added a curved hem. #floral #spring #flower #alittlelawnparty @handmadebyditsytulip @thebrightblooms
