I truly will never understand people’s disconnect with the idea that Bad People can make Great Art.
#so much work that’s edifying and complex was created by people who aren’t pillars of moralit#and yet you can still find answers in their work that they themselves could not articulate#all art is a ménage a trios babe#between the artist the creation and the viewer#that relationship can produce something greater than the sums of its parts#I swear to god people are so worried about being perceived as “bad’’#this is what the fucking puritans did to the American collective unconscious#reality is we’re all sin eaters#writblr#bookblr
