1. First game you played obsessively?

Maybe Space Invaders? My dad was part of his company’s computer club in the early 80s, and would sometimes bring home a monochrome Ericsson laptop. I LOVED Space Invaders. Once we got our own PC, I played it a lot. 

my dad also programmed his own version of MasterMind, and we had a local family high score list. (My mom topped it). 

the first game I was really obsessed about which more of ‘full’ game, was Civilization. I still (somewhere) have the 5 1/4″ inch floppy disks it came on - I lost the box. I played SO MANY hours. SO MANY. When I went to GDC for work, I actually went to talk by Sid Meier, and I had brought the manual and disks with me, but I was too much of a chicken to go ask him to sign it. He had A LOT of people around him, too, the man is an industry legend. But I still regret it. 

15. If it was a requirement to get a game related tattoo, what would you pick?

I’m not a tattoo person, I don’t think I’d ever get a tattoo; and if I got one it would not be game related. 

That said, if I had to, I might get some words, like ‘var lath vir suledin’ or just ‘fen’harel’ tattooed? Or maybe something Diablo related, though the dark /skull aesthetic doesn’t really speak to me. Maybe a slylized gameart of Tyrael, glowy angel wings and all.
