#alnst oc: orpheus

AKANE HELLO!!! so i have a s42 oc, they dont have a post cuz im not done drawing them yet but their name is orpheus!

orpheus is cyborg that understands but doesn't really 'feel'. they have a calming presence, like the wind, and they're always seen wandering around the garden. despite not knowing their origins, they have a stable sense of self and is content with who they are and what they will be. they're overall really friendly and easily approachable and despite not being fully human, they are able to 'empathize' with humans well.

anyways, i was wondering what your ocs opinion on them will be and their possible dynamics and relationship :D!

I think Yuina, in premiere, would not really try? They just seem so calm, so composed, so mature and not at all, even a bit 'cracked' so she could get in their head, shes actually intimidated (despite them actually being easy to approach, afterall she only goes by surface level appearances at first and then gets through with her work) so they'd be safe from her strangeness!!

Hanatsu would genuinely enjoy Orpheus' presence! Considering that they're a safe space from Yuina, he'd feel like he can take a breath of fresh air. Their vibes actually match, since Hanatsu is very relaxed when alone, so they would actually probably get along. Hanatsu doesn't know how to truly "feel" either, he's mostly on fight or flight, so this would be a nice relatability he genuinely craves.

Hikari would genuinely try her best to make them understand feelings and be able to empathize! She'd smile and chuckle and laugh with them, and she'd enjoy their presence! She thinks their calmness balances out her energy. She tries her best to not talk about Yuina with them because she sees that she wants to stay far from them, and thinks that it might make them feel bad that she approaches everyone but them.

Clément would be interested by them! At first, maybe he'd study them but then he'd actually start wishing to be friends with them! He would enjoy their presence and their calming aura, and secretly aspire to achieve atleast half of that ability to remain grounded (maybe it'd get him more friends if he didn't always talk about his opinions..)

orpheus is generally understanding and neutral grounded, the type to not really have strong opinions and simply see people for who they are, so they treat and view everyone equally. they're also the type to be very assisting of others, not bc they feel the need to but simply bc they want to. they're simply genuine.

orpheus doesn't mind yuina's aloofness nor are they bothered by it at all. they understand why some people wouldn't want to interact with other people and accepts that. so most of the time, they leave yuina alone. however, there are times where they would ask yuina if she needs any assistance in case there is anything she's struggling with (which is highly unlikely to be seen but orpheus is always there to lend a hand).

i kinda imagine they'd have a little scene where yuina would be in the infirmary (i suppose due to her fasting if that ever happens) and orpheus is there to give her assistance to restore her health (though i doubt yuina would take it). this scene seems very unlikely for me tho haha.

orpheus and hanatsu would get along very well! just know that hanatsu doesn't even need to look for orpheus cuz orpheus is always there and maybe, tends shows up whenever hanatsu feels like hanging out with them? sorta like an unexpected perfect timing. maybe that's their thing? like they dont need to speak, they don't need to do anything, but they always find eachother in the right time.

i think hanatsu and orpheus would have deep talks, well, not necessarily deep but personal ones. like maybe orpheus might talk about how they cant 'feel' things and hanatsu will say that they're quite alike in that aspect. maybe they'll learn more about eachother and how similar yet different their experiences are. they kinda remind me of the midnight sky in a way, calm and deep.

orpheus would tell hikari not to be too hard on herself or to not try at all in making them 'feel' emotions because they really cant. they're partly robot and being a robot disconnects them from truly feeling emotions, understanding it but not 'feeling' it. but that doesn't mean it bothers them! they reassure hikari of that fact.

orpheus would have a fun time with hikari too! maybe sing and dance with her or just talk about anything! also, they dont mind the topic of yuina and reassures hikari that she can talk about anything she's comfortable sharing. overall, i think they'd have a lively time together!

orpheus would pick up on clément's interest in studying them and would gladly discuss it with him. they would explain and show their parts, how it works and answer any questions clément might have for them! maybe whenever they get upgrades from their guardian, clément would be the first one orpheus will show the new features to! whenever clément needs to talk about something, whether it's biology or his opinions, he can approach orpheus for it!
