As a show of good faith toward the remaining Decepticons at the beginning of a new, united Cybertron, newly appointed Senators Bumblebee and Soundwave allowed Shatter and Dropkick to enlist into Autobot City's Defense Team.

These two turned out to be... not the best choices.

The city may have fallen to Insurgent Decepticon occupation had it not been for young recruits Hot Rod and Arcee's accidental interception of Shatter's communication with the fugitive Starscream.

To replace the errant Defense Team members, Springer and Blurr were reassigned from Iacon to Autobot City in their stead.

As a sonic enjoyer I think people (adults) need to be SO careful selfshipping with sonic characters. Pleeeaasseee remember most members of the main cast are children. There ARE adults, so the franchise as a whole isn't off the table, but I feel like this comes up way more often than it should.

I mean, it has to. Cause that's just too funny.

For me it's even extra funny because Violet doesn't (in my version of when they're older) even live in Fair City anymore but when she does visit she of course kinda overshadows him in ways that's funny. Especially in his cul-de-sac soccer mom era of wanting to be praised. Like, oh Tobey took time to make a hefty summer roast. Never mind, Violet brought stuffed eggplant, and people think it's so organic. Oh, Tobey wants to show off a genuine helpful invention to the others? Violet brings out a tiny souvenir from an airport gift shop. Boom, she gets the attention. She's not directly his like enemy when it comes to the limelight (that honor goes to another soccer mom he absolutely has some terrible mutual beef with). But she does step on his toes. So he's salty, but in his older mellow state, he can't be too mad when she's very oblivious about it and they are friends.

However, I can't say that emotionally. She also, without knowing, kinda makes him insecure. It's like a running joke in Future AU that Tobey thought that Violet was the one Becky should have been with. Or that one day she could steal Becky from him, and all he could do is shrug and go "yeah I was waiting for this." Tobey is not even upset about the idea...well, NO, he would be sad about it, but he's gotta support the sapphics no matter what. Even though Violet has told him multiple times that she's on the aroace spectrum and that Becky keeps reminding him that she's not going to just leave a 20+ year-old marriage with kids. Slept on it and I feel a bit better about the SRWY roster even if it still has issues in the old series it choose to bring back minus like 3 and there not being enough new series to make up for it which is sad how the truth of the factor of “this started development in 2022-2023” since they literally could NOT use anything coming out since this same thing happened to arc in 30-it couldn’t even be dlc be planned ahead of time, so no new series will be dlc for this game either even if they didn’t reuse 30 dlc so it might actually be the safest route-and why Gwitch is only season 1, next SRW that won’t come out until 2029 AT MOST will have the newer stuff we got from 2023-2024 but I worry if it falls into the same issue as Y:

If too many new things come out in the span of time between games, which is a high possibility, we will be missing out on new shows either way and once more have to WAIT again. Bravern and Grendizer U are gonna have to wait for the next game, Bravern gonna be in gacha hell UNTIL then which who knows if it’ll still be popular by the time it’s add to SRW unless they make a sequel? With said sequel also likely NOT being able to be in the next game if it comes out within the span of the next few years? And this isn’t accounting for new stuff that’s come out or is yet to come: Aquarion new series wrapped up, Gquuuucks is a thing yet likely won’t be in if Gwitch needs to get its second season, there was a new Rayearth and Eureka seven project tease with the latter likely happening sooner rather then later, and overall more reboots will come out, but nothing from 2025 to 2029 when that will be FOUR years of content is going to be considered until the SRW in the next coming decade if this is how Y roster turns out.

It’s kinda a shame cause of release cycles SRW is legit falling behind on what the hot topics in mecha circles are simply due to when they were developed, while stuff like Gwitch, Dynanzenon and Arc were expected and people are happy about and are occasionally mention, they are slightly older topics in comparison to stuff like Bravern, Grendizer U and Gquuucks. (The last one is still airing even) It might’ve been better if this SRW was delayed but they were also backed into a corner of they needed to get this out within the normal cycle time to KEEP interest, yet they made it at the worst possible time in terms of mecha rep.

I don’t think Y will damage the series heavily, there’s still stuff in this game to be excited for but man it sucks how getting newbies into officially translated SRW games it still better to pick 30 despite the flaws it has- it still has a better roster in comparison to this game despite having the Zeta/CCA and arma problem.

I am not a dr who fan by any means but i highkey think its hilarious how mad people get about the recent seasons. Ive watched two episodes of this show and in one it was werewolves during i think queen victoria times(or adjacent to it i do not remember) and in the other the blue police box this mf travels in becomes a woman and tells the dr to refer to her as "sexy" but the infinite regeneration alien becoming a woman and then a black man are where you draw the line? This man has smth called a sonic screwdriver that he points at people like hes some kinda wizard(which he basically is) and i think he gets married to one of his best friends long lost daughter but thats where you say the show goes too far? Grow up and watch the silly guy get into silly situations and also the horrors.
