i just got back from my first con experience and i'm still so ????????????? as to how i actually enjoyed the whole experience and want to continue going go more events and making stuff for people, i was so sick this morning, as in /vomiting/ sick, but during the thing itself i didn't even have the slightest bit of anxiety?????????????? for context there's SO MANY mundane things i absolutely cannot do without having really bad panic attacks idk what's going on 💀

anyway this print sold out (it's not much in the grand scheme of things but still) and i'm left wondering if people are doing ok or they're in desperate need of a hug, especially that one person who bought this alongside the banana fish one; anyway i'm really thankful for this and i've already been relentlessly scolded (in a nice way dw) by my friend for my very poor business decisions so now i have no choice but to continue to do better aka draw and socialize more :'D

also thanks for validating me drawing akiangel now i'm excused to finish the other sketches i left in the back burner to prioritize having some other stuff <3

rough csm AU fanfic idea?

aka random stream of consciousness about a fic I'll never write.

aka ramblings of a brainrotted idiot fanboy.

Has anyone ever thought about a Chainsaw Man fanfic AU without devils, where the plot centers around the characters mental health and their trauma? Basically a slice of life, hurt/comfort, fluff and angst, and romantic (mostly Asa/Denji.)

Okay...

So a lot of the traumatic events the characters experiences are canon and I'd still use them. I'd add some non-canonical details that remain a mystery in the manga to help with this AU's plot. The devil's I'd turn into something else. I'd also wanna include characters from part 1 and 2 so that is also non-canonical obviously.

Asa first since she made me think of the idea to begin with.

We pretty much all (more or less) are in agreement that Asa Mitaka is autistic coded. Right? I'd keep those traits for her, for sure.

But what if Asa had DID too and Yoru is Asa's part/alter? I'd say due to watching her mother die and blaming herself for her death with a mix of the prolonged social isolation/loneliness she felt. She was physically alone without parents, living alone from a very young age, and because of her off-putting behaviors (autism) she found it impossible to make friends. I'm thinking her mom was the only person who really accepted Asa for who she was and supported her even though she has always been a little "weird." She actually encouraged her to be true to herself and not mask. But after she died Asa just closed herself off and isolated herself, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Yoru was made by Asa's fractured psyche and traumas and acts as an aggressive big sister, because Asa needs a friend and a parent. She's definitely a persecutor but she's also a protector.

Don't worry I'm not forgetting about Denji. I'd probably pair him with Asa in this AU.

I think in this AU Denji would have severe ADHD (which is pretty much canon anyway.) My problem is what would I turn the chainsaw devil into? I could technically just pull Pochita out and make him Denji's dog. Oh! What if Pochita was his psychiatric/PTSD service dog???

Denji would still be an orphan, but since canonically Denji's dad's death is still shrouded in mystery, I'd probably take what we do know and run with it. We don't know much at all actually. I was thinking for this AU Denji found his dad after he committed suicide, due to his huge debts. Denji is left alone to fend for himself.

I'd add in other stuff as I think of them, and I have more ideas but I don't wanna give them all away in case I ever do actually write something like this.

Characters I'll probably add:

AkiAngel (because I love them.) Power! (Because obviously) Yoshida, Nayuta (NOT MAKIMA), and Fami. Maybe more? Idk.

What do you think? Should I try writing it?

oh this is hard ummm i love describing clothes and soft moments, i ache for intimacy and i deliver that thru my fics lmao even my pwp have rly sweet moments that ppl love

oh a lot, i literally think of a random ass au every day like "what if this character is a dog groomer and ALSO computer scientist, while the other is like, a baker". and then the ship is like idk akiangel lmao

BUT im currenly stuck with an au where angel is the merch person for a band and aki is a fan but they no longer have shirts his size, which is conveniently the size angel was wearing (based on a comic)

okay so idk if this will make sense but:

- quanxi was there to kill denji and i think she went to that place w santa bc denji was there (if im not wrong). also she was kishibe’s partner a long time ago that’s why they knew each other. there were basically a lot of people coming after denji

- the makima beach scene was basically revealing she’s the villain. why she was there in the first place there’s no clear reason but she just asked akiangel to meet her there. at that scene was also when aki started questioning himself if he really did like makima

- reze didn’t come back alive. basically makima used their corpses w her abilities to make them weapons or smth like that

- octopus guy (yoshida) is just some random high school kid who happened to be a skilled assassin hired to protect denji

sorry if i confused you more haha the csm pacing caught me off guard at first too

ok ok I understand a bit more now!! you're definitely right about the pacing 😭 manga fight scenes are already confusing and for a lot of parts I was like okay......

it was very interesting to read I still think I need some time to process lol but thank you again !!!!
