Fanfic Writer Questions
Thank you @silvery-bluish & @glitchy-npc for the tags! Not sure who else to send it to atm but if you see this on my page and decide to pitch in with your answers feel free to @ me!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
I've got 12! Most are oneshots, others are series.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
47002 on AO3 at the moment! And so much more in my docs.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Primarily Fallen Hero, with a dash of TWC and some other fandoms sprinkled in my WIPS but I've been on Fallen Hero brainrot for a long time now so the other fandoms are currently neglected.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Nightmare (surprisingly enough) w/ 28 kudos
focus (it's harder than you think) (also surprising lol) w/ 20 kudos
new pavement w/ 18 kudos
anamnesis w/ 18 kudos
freefall w/ 13 kudos tied with bath(toaster)tub also w/ 13 kudos
5. Do you respond to comments?
I try to respond to all of them! But some days I just don't have the spoons to and I forget, but I really appreciate any comments I receive.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
HA. you want me to pick??? Ok hrm. maybe bath(toaster)tub? anamnesis also has so me pretty angsty pieces in there.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
PFFF. ok gotta. go look for this one. Maybe sargasso sea, though it's technically not the last iteration in its series between a continued plotline hinted out in after the fall and a third part planned for its series.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet! I think.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
(slaps brain) this bad boy can generate so much smut. I write pretty much any kind? Soft, rough, indulgent, M/M, F/M, F/F, other any everything, kinky or emotional, etc. Just whatever strikes me at the time, but most just dont get published bc I'm mid.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I typically HATE crossover fics they just aren't my thing I do write AUs of X story set in X story's universe, just haven't published them (wait does that still count as a crossover).
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nah, considered it once tho.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Nope! Haven't found someone with the vibe ig, it's just never crossed my mind to co-write a fic and just never been asked too.
14. What's your all time favorite ship?
(cue strained breath) i have no all time favorites BUT. but. Ricardo/Wei gets me SO soft ok. i just. unrequited years long attraction finally requited and i. AAAAA. place sidestep in there too and i'm just so happy. i need poly rep in my life sometimes ok.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I stare into the google docs hell and ask you how you could expect me to pick one but. BUT. Praeludium//Allegro. A piece meant to dive in how Sidestep is able to experience the moment someone dies through their mind.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Shorter pieces! They tend to be about ~2000-5000 words per part, that's usually when I feel I've done my best. I'm also. Decent at NSFW writing? Sometimes, at least.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Definitely long fics. I had a plan for freefall and have scrapped and adapted it multiple times now, pus it's just difficult to keep myself interested in specific but necessary chapters.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
It's fun! I've included Spanish and Russian excerpts into my fics before but I don't do it a lot. Considered writing fully in Spanish at some point for an Ortega POV but I'm not confident in my grammar abilities. Spanish verb tenses my beloathed.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Naruto. On a different old account best left to gather dust.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Hm, I'm not sure if I have a favorite. I do really like the NSFW piece I wrote from Remy's POV, though. Short but good.

tagged by @aizawashoutah, @shitabukenjirou, and @foxyena !! thank u guys so much~
1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?
hajime = haji, iwaizumi = iwa, haji + iwa = hajiiwa~ i love my mans but not many people understand my username
(the rest will go under the cut!)
2. Which fanfic of yours has the most feedback? (bookmarks/subscriptions/hits/kudos)
huh, well
FMK technically has the most hits and kudos (something i am a little disgruntled about, seeing as it was not a fic i worked very hard on), only fools has the most comments, kaminari is a schemer has the most bookmarks, and of fountains and flowers has the most subscriptions so idk what to tell you. i wish ofaf had more recognition bcos i’ve worked hard on it rip
3. What is your AO3 profile icon, and why did you choose it?
it’s kuroo!! and i just chose it bc i Love him and it was an icon i made that i sorta liked so
4. Do you have any regular/favourite commenters?
yes and i love them all!! seeing names that consistently pop up in my kudos/comments section really warms my heart <33 i’ve made good friends that way tbh
5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?
uhh there are many that i like to go back and read, mainly by my fav authors that i’m subscribed to
6. How many stories are you subscribed to? How many do you have bookmarked?
bookmarked: 53 subscribed: honestly, i... don’t really subscribe to works? i’m subscribed to 8 authors tho
7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?
oooh, probably... medieval aus or domestic magic aus? and slice of life
8. How many people are subscribed and bookmarked to you in total? (you can view this on the stats page)
Subscriptions: 80 (rip, i didn’t know if u meant user subs or work subs so i combined and it’s still a tiny number) Bookmarked: 203
9. Is there something you’d like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)
umm... i don’t think so?
10. Is there anything you would like to be better at? Writing certain scenes or genres, replying to comments, updating better, etc.
finishing current projects before taking on new ones, avoiding burnout, the usual
11. Do you write rarepairs or popular ships more often?
well i’ll go based on haikyuu since those works take up the majority-- iwaoi is set firmly in first place based on number of works followed by bokuroo, both of which are fairly popular so i’d say that i lean more toward the bigger ships but i also have works for kurooiwa, iwaaka, tengoshi, etc
12. How many stories have you posted on AO3 to this day (finished and unfinished)?
22! that number fluctuates a ton because i’m very impulsive and if a fic doesn’t receive the recognition i feel it deserves/i no longer like it/etc i take it down
13. How many stories do you have saved in/with your writing program?
that i have yet to publish? too many.
14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?
i normally keep them in my head, unless i think they’ll turn into something bigger and then i’ll jot them down!
15. Have you ever co-authored a story?
not yeeet~ @frenchibi have plans to tho. i have tried to co-author in the past but it mever worked out
16. How did you discover AO3?
when i graduated from using wattpad,, fun fact, there is so much smut on there that i legitimately thought ao3 was just used to write porn. i was both horrified and confused
17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author in your fandom(s) on AO3?
lol
18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?
no...? this question assumes that i would be Popular (honestly do fanfic writers even have “fandom names” for their readers?? im)
19. Was there an author who inspired or encouraged you to write?
not really, no. i stated writing fanfics when i was really young on my own, unprompted, and i’ve met other authors through that medium that have helped me?
20. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?
interact with other writers! i know it seems daunting, but leave comments, go to spaces where you will find other writers, participate in events-- there are few feelings more satisfying than seeing familiar names pop up, either in your notifications or in a group you’re in. most of the time, they’re all very kind and you won’t regret letting them into your life!
21. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?
i plot out almost always, though this sort of bites me in the ass. it bores me when i’m writing to already “know” what’s going to happen and that’s why i lose steam. it’s weird
22. Have you ever gotten a bad comment on a story? If so, what did you do?
sort of. i write a lot of angst and i’ve gotten quite a few “fuck you author” comments-- most of the time they’re paired with “for making me feel these feelings” or “for writing something so sad” or some shit but i don’t appreciate that bc, like, fuck you too? i’m sorry that you felt the need to cuss me out?? i tag pretty liberally and if you felt that you couldn’t handle the topic i was writing about then you shouldn’t have clicked
unless it’s, like-- a friend or regular going “fffuCK YOU AHHH” which HAS happened and makes me snicker lmao
23. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, smut, etc..)
huh. i’m trying to become more proficient in the Big Three (smut, angst, and fluff) and thus far i’ve got one of three down p good. but specific scenes i have trouble writing would have to be scenes in which i have zero experience and pretty much have to improvise-- it helps me grow as a writer, ig, but it’s just frustrating
24. What story(s) are you working on now?
the rest of the writers’ inktober prompts
a fic wars piece with @frenchibi
a post breakup iwaoi
of fountains and flowers final chapter
a handful of voltron fics, 4 of them sheith
alien!iwaizumi
maaaany half-abandoned drafts
25. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?
YES AND IT IS TERRIBLE SOMEONE STOP ME
26. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?
nah. motivation is fickle and i don’t want to make writing a chore. writer’s inktober was hard enough (it’s december and i am still not done :,)
27. Do you think you’ve improved as a writer since you first started?
considering i started on wattpad, yes lmao. i’d like to think that i have since i’ve been on ao3 but hahjajhjkh
28. What is your favorite story that you’ve written?
i reeeeally liked writing a bit of magic is key and three’s a crowd because they were both humorous domestic magic aus~ but i’ve liked most things i’ve written tbh. also, obviously, of fountains and flowers.
29. What is your least favorite story that you’ve written?
that i’ve posted? i honestly don’t know. maybe you can be so stupid sometimes because i was just starting to write iwaoi and i now hate the way i portrayed them, not to mention that this dumb little fic has more kudos than my recent stuff and i just *clenches fist* don’t think it deserves that
30. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?
not sure. maybe i’ll have ofaf finished by then hahah,, but really i don’t know. writing is a tool but fanfic writing is just a hobby
31. What is the easiest thing about writing?
i’m pretty good at writing emotionally charged situations. also dialogue, i find banter or long back-and-forth conversations fairly easy
32. What is the hardest thing about writing?
transitions, justification of characters’ actions. the hardest thing writing-related would be fighting through envy and feelings of inadequacy but i experience the former plenty anyway rip
33. Why do you write?
i write because i enjoy it-- i love creating my own worlds, interacting with other writers, living vicariously through my characters
well, that was fun! i’ll tag @frenchibi, @astersandstuffs, @minyardxva, @josai

Antivirus (Chapter 1)
Hi!! So this is the first part of an au i thought of a while ago. Its a sort of hacker au?? if nothing makes sense its bc ill explain it in the next chapter, i was being slightly vague on purpose. This chapter was longer than i thought it would be? but i like it so :D ill try to post this on ao3 too so if you like it you can follow it on there too. Now on to the shitshow story!
//
Izuku Midoriya has one goal in life: to be a hero. Being quirkless may have made other people give up on that dream, but not him. Determined to on day become a hero, he learns to hack. Operating under the codename Antivirus, he monitors the city, sending in anonymous tips about villain activity to the police. He becomes well known, and helps people like he's always wanted. However, nothing comes without a cost, and this reality is no different.
//
Izuku glanced down at his phone under his desk, counting the seconds until the bell went off, signaling the end of the day. If he was fast enough, he might even be able to avoid-
And there was the familiar sharp ding of the bell.
Since his stuff was already in his backpack, it was simple to just sprint out the door. Bakugou had already started the chase, but Izuku was used to the cat-and-mouse they had played for years, and stayed away from sharp corners. His chaser was quick to orient himself on those and Izuku wasn't, so it was best to find a straightway to run along.
The yells and curses behind him increased when Izuku jumped into an alleyway and kept up his jog, though they faded as he increased the distance between them. He’d faced off and seen many people that were technically scarier than his childhood friend, but his heart never did quite pound in quiet fear as it did when he was chased by Bakugou.
His heart and breath slowed down once he saw his destination up ahead. The internet café he had been frequenting recent was small but cozy, and the black, silver, and purple color scheme it had going on was a welcome sight every day after school, especially after his daily escapes from Bakugou.
“Ah, you're back!” a voice called from near the counter.
A tall person with bright colored green hair that was just now changing to a light orange waved at him, smiling. Tomomi had been working at Museiai Café for as long as Izuku had been going there, and they always left a cookie or two aside for him when he came by.
The café doubled as both a place to eat and get wifi that couldn't be traced, of which Izuku was thankful for in equal amounts.
After getting his usual cookie from Tomomi, he settled back into the inconspicuous corner he was used to sitting in. It didn't have the most comfortable cushions, but it did keep people from peering over his shoulder or just noticing him over all, which was his goal. Can’t keep your secret identity a secret if everyone is always looking at you, right?
The cushion sunk down with him when he sat in it. The laptop he kept on him at most times despite--how heavy it was--was brought out quickly, and then he set to work checking the cameras around the city.
The east side of the city was doing okay today. The drug ring bust last week had seemed to mellow out that part of the city, though it would perk up soon, he could tell. A mugging near the park had him sending off a quick message to the officers near that area, and a few fights got the same treatment. Once that area looked good, he switched to the south side. It had been too quiet lately, and what that usually meant was-
There. A bank being robbed. Izuku counted four villains, though they all looked like they had just started their looting. He checked the inside cameras, and it seemed like no one had notified the heroes yet. There were 2 hostages, though they didn't appear to be very scared. One of them even checked his watch. Living in a superhuman society did strange things to people's reactions to danger.
It was easy for Izuku to slip his computer back in his backpack and quietly slink into the bathroom deep in the café. Once he opened the door, he quickly checked the room for any cameras in the vicinity. There never were any in this room, but it didn’t hurt to look. If he had learned anything from this whole situation, it was that people hid cameras in places you would never think to look.
Luckily, the room was empty this time. The last time it had not had been a… fun experience. He had run out of the room before the person could ask any questions, however.
Izuku found the first empty stall that he saw and quickly shut and locked the door. Pulling out the small mirror he kept on him at all times and liquid eyeliner, he set to work applying his usual mask. Two large wings, paired with the black facemask with a point-toothed smile, changed his appearance more than one would think, and successfully had kept his identity hidden for as long as he had been doing this. The final touch was the black sneakers that he switched out from his usual bright red ones. They were way too distinctive, almost as much as his hair, although he couldn't do much about the latter.
Now that his disguise was done, he could leave for the scene of the crime. Going back out the way he came was out of the question, so he would take his usual route; the window.
If there were ever times Izuku was glad he was short, it was ones like these.
Once he had wiggled through the window, which had luckily not been too high up, he checked his phone for the exact location of the bank. After he memorized it, Izuku tucked his phone in his pocket, straightened up, and ran.
One of the things he had taught himself over time was the layout of the city. If there was an alley, he had walked in it. If there was a roof, he had jumped across it. One thing that often baffled people was how quickly he usually got to the scene. Some minimal parkour skills also helped, even if the first few times he had tried it he had ended up almost falling off a roof. That was a fun thing to try and explain to his mom.
Izuku was lucky that he had good balance, or the several pipes he had to climb combined with the roof jumping would surely have been the end of him. He would never quite get rid of the lingering feeling of falling as he leapt to one high place to the next, however.
A few minutes were all he needed to make his way towards his location. Izuku peered over the half-wall from on top of the roof of the building across the street from the bank. Though he didn't really need to be near the crime scene, the cameras in the bank had not been clear enough for Izuku to see exactly what was happening inside. He also may or may not have wanted to get on the scene and feel like a real hero, but that was besides the point.
When he gets as comfortable as you can in black skinny jeans on a concrete rooftop, Izuku got out his laptop and opened up the personal hotspot that he had bought for himself. It would be easier and cheaper to hack into the wifi down below him, but every time he did, Izuku would feel guilty for days afterward.
Once he was hooked up, all he had to do was send the location along with some details to the nearest police and heroes. After the location was sent, he squinted down at the building across from him, and started the mumble storm that helped him dissect the situation.
“Two mutant quirks, one jaguar and one octopus. Fire quirk might work best against those. Two unidentified quirks- no, he just produced a knife from his hand, one unidentified quirk. Fire and possibly speed quirk would be best in this situation-” Izuku rambled on in a constant stream under his breath. The closest fire heroes in this area would be Endeavor and Flamethrower, though this was too much of a small job for one of the top heroes to deal with at the moment. He couldn't think of anyone off the bat who could easily combat a speed quirk, and the knife quirk could be handled by Flamethrower. Maybe a combination of two quirks? A water to slow down along with some sort of fish quirk might work, though it might make things harder for Flamethrower…
Once he made up his mind, Izuku sent off the message to the station and notified the heroes he needed to. Flamethrower, Aquatic, and Chomp would have to work, as they were the closest heroes at the moment. It wasn't the best matchup, but if they could separate tentacles from the others it should be an easy fight. He said as much to the police and heroes before checking the time. Did he have enough time to watch the fight, or-
Oh, that was a no. If he wanted to catch the other robbery on the upper end of the east side, he definitely had to run now.
Snapping his computer shut with one forlorn look shot towards the fight that had already started in front of the bank, Izuku put everything away and readied himself to continue his trek across the city. Although his legs had already started to slightly burn from all the jumping, he smiled. Izuku was glad to help the city he lived in.
It was all he could do.
When Izuku finally got home, it was mostly dark, save for the light purple tint on some parts of the sky. He had stopped at a public bathroom on his way home, so his eyes were eyeliner free, save for the small clumps near his eyelashes. He never figured out the trick to getting those out, even though he had been doing his own makeup for three whole years. He was lucky his mom hadn't noticed yet.
“Mom!” he called out into the seemingly empty space.
He wasn't left waiting for long, as his mom quickly appeared seemingly out of nowhere to greet him.
“Izuku!” she cried out, and latched onto him in a hug. Although she saw him every day, she still disliked to when he was gone until dark, especially after that incident.
“Izuku, I was so worried, I thought we agreed to not stay out past 6:00-” Izuku barely flinched and chanced a glance to the wall clock, confirming that he had been out later than he thought, “-and I was just so worried. Please don't do this again, please, baby?”
All Izuku could do was nod in confirmation before Inko buried her face in the side of his neck in another hug. He could feel himself wilting internally at the sight, and made sure to squeeze her just as hard back.
“Mom, Mom it’s okay, i'm okay, i promise-” he quickly assured her, and his words seemed to comfort her as she let him go a while after he had started apologizing.
After they had both calmed themselves, Inko led Izuku to the kitchen to eat the dinner he had almost missed out on. The katsudon she had made him was cold, but he ate it anyways for his mom. The tv was on in the living room still- he assumed she had been watching it in stress before he got home- and paused in his eating when he heard something the reporter was saying.
“It seems that once again, the police have been helped by the anonymous coding vigilante, Antivirus. He notified nearby heroes to three robberies and 4 break ins-” Izuku tuned the rest out after that. Hearing himself on the tv had a certain kind of effect on people, it seemed.
He had to hide his smile in the bowl of cold katsudon, although it tasted much better now.

Superheros get Bullied Too Part 11
Chapter 1
Chapter 11: Tony Stark and Being Distracted
Read on AO3
I have yet to watch endgame bc my poor heart cannot handle it. Ive seen clips and heard opinions so fingers crossed i didn't completely butcher it. friendly reminder kudos and comments fuel my soul.
******************************************************************************************
Tony Stark is a lot of things but patient has never been one of them. His nephew was always testing his patience, be it with attitude, sneaking out or his tendency to throw fists first and ask questions later. Peter on the other hand usually isn’t even close in comparison but lately he’s been testing the older man’s resolve more so than Harley. The young superhero is more stubborn than a mule and Tony wasn’t sure how much more of it he was going to take before he snapped.
“Tony!”
Pepper snapping her fingers in front of his face pulled him from his thoughts. Looking like she was ready to smite him. “I’m sorry what were you saying Pep?”
Pepper just rolled her eyes and closed the file folder. “Tony where were you just then?”
“Right here?”
“I’m serious. You’ve been like this all day. Worse than usual.”
“I appreciate your concern I do but I’m alright honest.” Tony flashed her his best smile but she just gave him a pointed look.
“Okay, so it’s either about Harley or Peter. Either way I’m not going any further with business until we deal with your personal stuff. We need you to have a clear head with this Tony. “
Tony lets out a deep sigh. “It’s not that big of a deal. I’m a big boy, I don’t need you work out everything for me.”
Pepper raised an eyebrow. “Yes because you deal with personal problems so well. FRIDAY?”
“Yes Ms. Potts?” the AI immediately responded
“Is everything okay with both Harley and Peter?”
Tony let out another large sigh as the AI answered his CEO’s questions.
“Young Stark is fine as of 8:45 AM this morning when he left for school. He has not had any alarming activity that would activate any emergency protocols.”
“And Peter?”
“Mr. Parker had been MIA from the hours of 6:30- 9:00 AM but due to Young Starks concern, Boss pinged Mr. Parker’s last known location via KAREN and was able to locate him.”
“Was there reason to be alarmed?”
“Negative, though I am not able to give more details on why or where Mr. Parker was due to privacy protocol by KAREN.”
Peppers eyes widened in surprise. “KAREN has her own privacy protocols?”
“That is correct, ones that were put in place by Mr. Parker without Boss’ knowledge.”
“Okay thank you FRIDAY.”
Pepper looked at Tony with a look he couldn’t quite identify. He just shook his head. “Don’t even go there Pep.”
“How long till you override his protocol?”
Tony swallowed. “I can’t.” He practically whispered.
“What do you mean you can’t? “
“It’s Peter’s protocol not mine.”
She scoffed. “Yes because you’re above overriding any protocol the person you’re dating has created or any person really.”
Tony shook his head. “I can’t. I need to trust him. “
“Wait what?”
“You heard me Pep. Peter he’s, well he’s never done anything to warrant me doing an override. Not like this. We removed the baby monitor protocol completely together a few months ago.”
“So you’re trying to tell me because that protocol was removed you can’t override it or hack into it?”
Tony rolled his eyes as he got up and started pacing around the lab. “I’m Tony Fucking Stark of course I can hack into a system I created! But it’s about trust now. Removing that protocol was a big move for the both of us. It was a whole thing, like about trusting him and the look on his face when it was gone. Pep I just I can’t go back on that.”
Pepper just looked at him, but really looked at him. “Tony….”
“Yeah yeah yeah, I’m getting sentimental in my old age.”
“No. You’re in love with him.”
Tony stopped mid pace and turned around abruptly. “You know I love him.”
“There is a big difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. Part of me thought you only said it to make him happy.”
Tony crosses his arms over his chest. “So you thought I wasn’t above lying to him about my feelings?”
“No! That’s not what I’m saying.”
“Then what are you saying exactly here?”
“Tony. I’ve known you a long time, I know how you deal with any form of a relationship. Either you tell them exactly what they want to hear or you barely speak to them unless you’re in the mood.”
“I told you from the beginning that Peter was different. I wouldn’t just start seeing someone who is still in fucking high school if it wasn’t different. This was never just another notch on my belt or fixation. I am capable of loving someone.” Tony’s voice became louder as he spoke.
Dum- E rolls over and pats the older man on the shoulder, letting out a soft beep.
“Sorry buddy.” Tony offers the bot a smile before walking back to the table where Pepper was sat.
“Did you just apologize to your bot?” Pepper looked at him with shock. “Who are you and what have you done with Tony?”
Tony shrugged. “Stop changing the subject. You really thought after everything I’d lie to Peter?”
“He’s changed you.” She stated.
Tony just tilted his head. He knew that the few that did know about him and Peter thought it was a bad idea but as the months went on it became clear that it wasn’t just fling for either of them. He never thought for one second that Pepper would be one of the ones that thought he was the same old Tony from before.
“Of course he’s changed me. The snap changed me. Losing you changed me.”
Pepper looked away for a moment before looking back at him. “You know, after everything I always thought that Peter was the new obsession in your life. That we didn’t work because you’re not the settling down type.”
Tony reached across the table and squeezed her hand. “Pep. It’s nothing to do with you. Well not in a bad way.”
Pepper didn’t say anything but gave him a confused look.
“Listen. You did change me, a part of me I always thought we’d stop the dancing game and I’d wake up one day and realize I wanted you forever, maybe even as my wife. But it didn’t happen. I never woke up and we broke up. It was another thing I failed at as far I was concerned. So I focused on helping Peter become the best Spiderman he could be.”
“Then you lost him.”
Tony nodded. “Then I did everything possible to bring him back and the moment I seen him again for the first time it was like something snapped in me, I hugged him hard and well you know the rest.”
“You brought him back and then he saved you?”
Tony nodded but was interrupted by his AI
“Boss I believe you should show her.”
Tony looked up. “Show her what?”
“Don’t play stupid Boss, you have footage of ending of Thanos. Showing Ms. Potts where your relationship with Mr. Parker truly began would help rectify her concerns.” FRIDAY responded.
“What footage?” both Pepper and Tony said at the same time.
“The footage from both my systems and KAREN’s sir. “
“So all this time you two have been holding on to that without my knowledge?”
“We have also merged the footage together, if you like I can play it?”
“Play it Tony.”
Tony swallowed. “Pepper. I almost died. Are you sur-“
“Show me the damn footage. FRIDAY?” Pepper looked at him with a look that clearly meant she was not fucking around.
As much as Tony really didn’t want to relive the moment as far as he was concerned his last moments at the time, Pepper needed to see it for herself. He was thinking about how the hell his AI’s were able to hide such important information from him when the feed started.
Tony could be seen standing next to Thanos when he slipped on his gauntlet. Peter was rushing towards the other man when Tony spoke.
 “And I am Iron Man.”
The feed switched to KAREN’s POV and that’s when Pepper let out a large gasp.
Peter could be seen running to Tony and just as Tony spoke, Peter grabbed a hold of his face and pressed his lips firmly to Tony’s. The frame was fuzzy but you could see that Peter didn’t let go for a second until it was over and then both superheroes collapsed.
“Tony! Peter!” several Avengers came into view.
Peter was coughing up blood and Nat stopped in front of him, blocking the view of Tony.
“Jesus Christ Little Spider are you alright?”
“Tony…” He managed to spit out between coughs
“He’s okay, what the fuck were you thinking?”
There was more commotion, as it was obvious from the change of angle that Peter was unconscious.
The feed cut out and Pepper just looked at Tony. “I never knew.”
Tony swallowed the lump in his throat. “Yeah so Peter is different.”
“He saved you. He was barely 14 years old and he risked everything for you.”
“Mr. Parker was the age of 19 if you take into consideration of the 5 years during the blip.” FRIDAY spoke up.
Pepper shook her head confused. “Wait what?”
“When the original snap happened and I lost Pete. Everyone that disappeared with that was actually in an Alternate Universe where they aged.”
“Oh my god.”
“Yes so even though the Accords state everyone is the same age they were before the original snap.”
“That’s why you were so for dating Peter even though he’s in school and technically a teenager!”
Tony nodded. “Don’t get me wrong, I tried to reason with him that he could do so much better than me but-“
“But I told him if I was willing to risk my life to save him with a kiss without a second thought at age 14 I was able to decide for myself who I want to be with at age 16. “ Peter piped up from the doorway.
Tony couldn’t help the grin that came across his face. “Don’t forget about the part where you told me how I was just too scared to be happy.”
“You sure were hard to sweep of your feet. You’d think risking my life to kiss you would be enough.”
“Never sweetheart.” Tony winked
Peter shook his head from where he stood. “Why’d this come up anyways? Hi Pepper!”
Pepper couldn’t help but smile at the two of them. She may not have been what Tony needed but it was clear as day they were meant for each other and any doubt she may have had went out the window. “Hi Peter.
