[ ANA DE ARMAS / FEMALE / SHE/HER ] WAR! looks like SIF is ready for battle, though you may know them better as LADY SIF. they are 1000+ years old and known to be PROUD, but can be IMPULSIVE at times. you may often see them fighting ALONE. ( sessho / 26 / cst / she/her )

okay so your new favorite sinnamon roll is back ( sorry my internet crashed so i decided to eat dinner #priorities ) , with LADY SIF. or, her real name, sif. it’s been like 84 years since i’ve played her, but since i saw her open it brought back !!!! memories, and i had to snatch up my warrior daughter. like i said, it’s been awhile but i hope to do her justice! read on below, midgardian. . .

i’ve gone back and forth with this, but i’ve decided sif will be comics + mcu based! i’ve watched all the mcu thor films, but i’ve also read up on her comic background, so i’m combining them both, homies.

since it looks like i’m playing the only asgardian here atm, i’m going to take alot of LIBERTIES as far as her comic background goes ( i really like it anyway <3 ) until we get some more asgardians here!

so, to quote some of my description, sif, goddess of war, did once possess golden hair, which sif was known for. my beautiful child ( but tbh she’s still hella beautiful ). she was childhood friends with thor and loki, yes loki and sif were once friends. sif harbored feelings for thor and loki grew jealous of sif’s affections for him ( if he was exactly jealous of sif liking thor over him, or maybe threatened by the idea of sif taking thor away from him, i don’t exactly know ). 

but we all know a jealous loki is an unhappy loki. he’d be up to no good. so loki played a “prank” on her and cut off all her golden hair smh

thor was the one that forced him to retrieve her golden hair, and while loki tried to bargain with trolls, he stole the newly created hair made of pure gold.

but without the special potion the trolls were to treat it with, sif’s new hair grew darker and darker until it finally turned, black as night. jus imagine how black loki’s hair is. sif and loki are basically twins now, lol, or sif’s hair may be darker.

anyway, sif was DISTRAUGHT over the loss of her golden hair, it was one of things she was most proud of. but her parents grew tired of her vanity and sent her off to learn the ways of warriors. to have her train to become a shield maiden.

while she would train, she would go on adventures with thor and loki, but she always got along better with thor than she did loki. often emphasizing with thor, son of odin, but also laughing and joking with the proud and stubborn prince at the same time.

honestly? cause she’s still HIGHKEY mad at loki.

enter the mcu movies, right. about. here. sif proved herself as a warrior and began to accompany, and find friends in, the warriors three too.

heimdall is technically sif’s brother in the comics, but i’ll leave that up to a rper if they decide to play them, if they want to be her brother or just a friend to sif. ( but pls bring me heimdall, i love heimdall )

no other asgardian woman comes close to the goddess of war in combat except valkyrie. sif’s muthafuckin’ strong bruh. don’t fuq with her.

she’s proud as shit representing asgard and she loves a good fight maybe even killing yikes

also HIGHKEY jealous of jane, because of thor, but she’ll put her feelings aside for the greater good. and if thor is happy with jane, she accepts that. she just wants thor to be happy. but you know wat? i just thought about it: sif/jane?? not a bad pairing. #ladiessss

but all and all, ship with chemistry please.

okay i am lowkey upset with what happened to thor’s friends in ragnarok *cries* but even worse, sif didn’t get any face time #rude. so we can only ASSUME she died with the warriors three, cause asgard burned to the ground #rip. thanks hela :). but it’s hard for me to grasp my bb dead, so i’m gonna say heimdall transported her to earth and she’s been laying low. possibly working with SHIELD? possibly not.

so she hasn’t seen thor or loki for awhile, and with thanos and his army here, she could really use some asgardian homies right about now. she’s worried about the infinity stones he’s trying to collect, as anyone, but sif’s never been the person to let someone like thanos take over another realm. so when the time comes, she’ll protect, she’ll fight. it’s in her blood. and sif does love a good WAR.

there’s a good chance i’m going to use blonde gif icons of ana because why not and i love ana. ( but just imagine her hair’s black )
