Hi! So I'm about to enter my first year of college this fall and I was wondering if you had any tips and advice? Thank you!

hey!!! first of all, congrats!!! something i HIGHLY recommend is using google calendar or some other calendar app for all your classes, assignments, work, etc. being organized and time management is super helpful and it's really nice to put everything from the syllabus into a calendar asap (i also color code everything so i can see at a glance what classes/things i have to do) another thing is making sure you choose classes that are helpful towards graduating but also interesting! idk about any other schools but my college has a degree audit system where you can plan out all of your schedules for the next however many years and i use it all the time. generally the system I've had so far for choosing classes is to do one for your major, one for a grad requirement, and then one for whatever you want (i usually pick classes that are entirely out of my major range like art or health) also pay attention to the credits! i stick to 12-15 credits per semester. the other thing that I've personally had a really tough time doing (lol) is talking to people!! join clubs that sound interesting!! (or at least go to a few meetings and see if its any good) participate in events!! study outside your dorm!! party!! (if that's your thing) there's really no right way or wrong way to do college! it all just depends on what you want to get out of it and who you are! balance your work/life (bc if you live on campus you will literally LIVE at your WORK and it can get rough mentally) college is a great time to find yourself and figure out who you are away from your family and old friends but its also important that you make sure you're staying on top of class work since that's literally the reason you're there lol but yeah!!! good luck!!!! if you have any questions you can send another ask or feel free to shoot me a dm!! :D
