the part of me that love seeing the Thing take off its dog disguise and become a gross tentacle creature vs the part of me that doesnt love seeing it attack the actual dogs: FIGHT
#the shot where its head opens like BWAHHH love that. love that#also there is one shot that like. is clearly one of the dogs just being sprayed by a hose. not minding. that one makes me laugh#but the rest of it is a bit rough i will not lie.#avpost#also when a wilford brimley kills that dog later!!! fuck off!!!#when i watched it the other day that was the viewing where i suddenly could finally tell all the men apart#and i mostly walked away feeling really bad for clarke the dog watcher guy. he didnt deserve all that. and he was so close 2 the dogs :-(#thats the two things that get me w dog deaths in movies bc usually i am Used To This Shit that it doesnt bother me as much#but if 1. the dog is sad and/or scared or 2. the dog had humans who are really sad to lose it#that is when it gets to me :-(
