I've not reread wings of fire in a few years (an issue, I'm aware. I'm working on it) and only remember bits and pieces, but I love Thorn and her massive 'only realized im a lesbian after having incredibly underwhelming sex w a guy and getting pregnant but i love my child so much she's everything to me' vibes

Jade Mountain prophecy arc kids!! All five pov characters + Kinkajou and Anemone as well. I didn't put my design notes in the post for the dragonets of destiny, so I'll go ahead and put notes here!
Edit: I went back and edited Winter's colors a bit because they felt way too saturated, I think I'm happier with them now.
And because people asked me a few times on the dod headshots: yes, you can use these as icons! please just credit me if possible, thanks
Moonwatcher: I really like how people interpret her cover design and wanted to try my hand at it myself! She gets that pink glow around her irises when she's receiving a prophecy or trying to communicate through thought. Her scale spots are crescent moons, and her horns are meant to partially mimic that shape. She has two teardrops from being born under two moons (I'm thinking about changing Starflight to have three)
Winter: designs that are both essentially monochrome and very pale are really difficult for me, and I ended up having a lot of trouble coloring him, especially trying to pick a color for his horns. I do like his shape though, I think the aristocratic look I was going for came through. I gave him a silver and sapphire earring and little icy freckles.
Peril: not much to say here as it's basically just her canon description, but I made her horns branch off a little bit because I like the Skywings with antlers headcanon. I almost gave her a little frill, as I like the idea of her and Sky having a few RainWing traits from Chameleon, but alas it looked weird so I scrapped it.
Turtle: Ok Turtle as a character is fine I just don't really care (???) that much about him but god do I love this design!! I gave him a rounded frill like Coral and Anemone, with it drooping over his face a bit (I imagine him trying to hide his face behind his frill a little.) His snout has a little bit of a beak shape to it like a turtle, and his glowscales are meant to evoke a turtle's shell.
Qibli: DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE DESIGN OUT OF THE BUNCH OMG. I don't know why I really like designing Sandwings, I could have cared less about them up until a few months ago, but I always have a lot of fun with them. I gave him a fluffy, scruffy crest (I love the hc of Sandwings with hair instead of a sail) and a bandana because I like giving Sandwings textile accessories. He has dark blue eyes because it looks cool :)
Kinkajou: I really love how I drew her SHE"S SO PRECIOUS!!! I like the designs that make her primarily yellow but I always imagine her being more pink. She has big, expressive features: big frills, big eyes, and a huge heart.
Anemone: I went into her design with the clearest mental image out of all of these characters... and then struggled for an hour trying to color her anyways. Purely pastel characters with a lack of contrast are difficult, man! I do like how she came out, I wanted to give her an air of child pageant princess who's grown up into a prissy tween and I think I got it all right. She has the same floppy frill as Turtle, but tried to make it look a little more styled. Her face is also meant to be a little bit dolphin-shaped!
