Hiii ! I'll chose Sigma-El Sangre, known as and sometimes spellt Xangr (or Xgr), my fellow exiled ashlander.

25 : What topic do they know a lot about that is completely useless to the direct plot ?

Well, Xangr hides the true lengths of his knowledge for his own safety. He often assures to appear as someone uncultured because of how easier it makes things for him. Most of the time, he pretends to be a mere dancer from the ashlands, where spelling is a rare skill, or what may look like a sex worker - he thinks that people underestimating him is the best situation he could hope for... But if you talk with him a lot, under many covers and masks, there is an over-enthousiastic autistic goblin. Xangr knows much, about many specific topics. He reads a WHOLE LOT and spended many many years copying books for the Mage Guild then the Worm Cult. He's impressively sharp in everything that touches to Oblivion and/or biology - he loooves telling people about liminality, daedric planes and (un)natural phenomenons, so when there is a safe opportunity, he speaks a lot.

He once met a maormer called Kelondil, with whom, moved by curiosity, he had sexual intercourses. He just HAD to check if maormers, like snakes or sharks, had two penises... and he talks way too much about his discoveries to EVERYONE that slightly mentions the subject. You cannot stop him. He's a master in making people uncomfortable with incessant infodumping when he feels fine somewhere.

Most of the time, it is not helpful, and he can not restrain himself. An other subject he's very found of is clothing/makeup. Xangr is the kind of mer to help you with your eyeliner and giving you tips and explanations while braiding your hair. He just loves taking care of himself, everything he wears is thought and well agenced. It is rarely useful, except a time he helped a young woman to dress as an Altmer and did all her costuming. It was such a nice RP, they're precious friend daysince.

48 : Who would they say "yes" to if invitated to do something they abhorred/strongly didn't want to ?

Depends.

If it is only a matter of taste (Xangr for exemple does not like noble parties), then he can do an exception for someone he sees as precious that would appreciaite his companionship. Those people are rare. He's an extremely peaceful mer. If his presence helps you and you're close enough, for exemple to soothe anxiety like it has been the case few times, Xangr will come with you. He will not enjoy his time, but he will remain calm, keep an eye on you and cheer you up. Just do not ask him to actively be a part of the party, he finds most people to be boring as hell and tolerates badly boredom. Let him stare at flowers, pick his nails, stim with his jewelry, pay respect to his regular need of loneliness then you'll have a loyal friend that would gladly share your pain. If you're doing something you love and are passionate about, Xangr will appreciate your enthousiasm and remain with you. You just have to assure you do not ask more of him he agreed to give, and he'll great you with apparent neverending patience and tenderness. He soothes people, it would not be a first for him.

The other case... Is if he identifies danger wheresoever. You can NOT drag him somewhere he feels even vaguely threatened. He will dodge the Mage Guild bc he fears they may remember him and throw his masquerade away. He fears people may take a guess for his past and flees anytime strangers are too insisting. He does not like to lie, as it is his previous master's main weapon and he tries to change, so he prefers to keep distances anytime he's with too inquisitive souls. If the danger is too palpable...

You won't be able to take him with you. His survival is paramount to him. He will find an escape, and ask of you to NOT mistake this reaction for empty cowardice. It is self preservation. Wisdom. Instinct.

OC Spotlight 1/5 (for now lol I’ll type others later)

Gender - nonbinary they/them (okay with she/her and he/him also) Sexuality - queer/unlabeled they’re p much good with anyone lol Age - 28 Race - Altmer Religious Affiliation - started with Stendarr (raised by priests of Stendarr in Lillandril after being abandoned), branched out and tried to explore more when they arrived in Skyrim and weren't so sheltered, settled in with Auri-El after going through the initiate journey in the Chantry and overcoming that lifelong internalized belief that Auri-El wasn't "for" them as a hulkynd Altmer and this continues to drive their love for pursuing the betterment of all skills and exploring new things, interest in Sotha Sil (admiration for his knowledge and engineering abilities), some minor affiliation with Azura (I'm an enjoyer of Azura's sphere including transitional periods including trans people)

Aside from magic they dual wield axes, use an axe and a shield, use a war hammer, and use a crossbow

My jack of all trades character. They’re a hulkynd Altmer, cast out of a likely very high class Altmer family at birth for not being “perfect” enough. They were taken in by the Temple to Stendarr in Lillandril and became a Vigilant. When they were sent to Skyrim they were exposed to so many new people, books, and ideas that would’ve been suppressed back home. So now they’re essentially traveling around and trying to learn as much about everything and anything that they can. They’re trying to get involved with any guild they can join (even the darker natured ones not out of malice but curiosity), any quests and adventures they’re sent on, and trying to talk to as many people as possible. They’re even involving themself with Daedra so that they can form their own thoughts based on experience rather than just what they were taught. They read every book they find. Though they can be a little naive from their sheltered upbringing, they’re highly intelligent and inquisitive. They’re also no stranger to snark when warranted.

They love to tinker and invent. They built their arm on their own, incorporating the aetherquartz calian from their coming-of-age into the back of the hand. It’s not static, so they can roll it to stim lol. It’s powered by a soul gem in the forearm which opens like a hatch. Sotha Sil was a big role model to them growing up and they collected any book they could find with him in it lol. I feel like they also built alternate arms for various aesthetic, functional, or fun reasons. They’re willing to take risks and face danger for knowledge. They love improving their skills and want to master everything. They have a fantasy of being the first hulkynd Altmer to be granted their alaxon sphere for gaining a degree of perfection, maintaining that even the god intended to embody perfection was imperfect and elitist Altmer would've cast him out if they didn't know.

They love fashion, nail polish, and makeup too. I’ll try to add more hair/makeup/clothes ideas later. They like flowy clothing with nice colors and bold colorful makeup. Their hair is long, so if they’re fighting or working it’s usually tied up/back in some way. They rarely bind or use magic to take the appearance of having a flat chest, but when they do it’s often because they felt an outfit would look better that way. Despite their already impressive height they also love wearing very tall heels and platforms. I feel like they’d like those platform heels with the heart shaped platform very much lol. Their earrings are soul gem inspired since it’d be a little dangerous to have real soul gems dangling by their face all the time.

I think they have a tooth gap too lol also when they aren't duel wielding a spell, they prefer to cast from their right arm (enhancing their magic through the soul gem in that arm)

yes, this applies to bretons as well, though it’s less prominent

though body language is involuntary, elves can move their ears voluntarily. some more than others. a bosmer can move their ears better than an altmer.

the last two are seen more often in kids because they have difficulty expressing negative emotions properly. as they mature and learn to properly convey how they feel, ear flapping and flopping are less prominent, though they are very much still there

as a result, calling someone an “ear flapper” is used to refer to children, or someone acting childish or immature. (ex: “she’s got two ear flappers, one five and one seven.” “they couldn’t even apologize to me properly. what an ear flapper.”)

I don't think i'm ready to answer this, i don't know her well enough. -+She is physically not very strong and relies on magic a lot. But she is very good at destruction, especially fire, and gets better every day. -She is selfish and mostly does good deads for something. She *will* help you, but not of sheer goodness of her heart. Thal is not pessimistic, but is a bit whiny. She's that pic from Bob's Burgers 'fine, i'll do it, but i will complain all the way'. But she mostly complains internally. She's not wrong tho, she spends mostly all the time wet and cold from rain and constantly half-hungry.26. Who is the most important person in their life? Why? Who is the least important to them?Rhea. She learned once about an existance of a sister from her dad when he was drunk again, so she tried to find her after Oblivion Crisis. That was after Red Year, so it was a dead end. They eventually meet through none other than Eris (and also Faralda). Rhea is her only family now and she is constantly impressed by her older sister. Rhea knocks some sense into her academia-wise too. Thal considers both Rhea and Eris giant nerds. Which they are. Anyway, she loves her sister.Her dad. She kind of killed him. Her mother is middle-class Altmer who had come from Summurset to Cyrodiil and have been living there for quite a while. Has a bad taste in men, considering Thal's father. She loved her daughter in her own, maybe a bit cold, way, but after what happened to her husband and her shop in process that love has diminished.Thalion's dad was a drunk even when he was still with Rhea's family. With being drunk came occasional beating. Since he abandonned them he picked up gambling in Cyrodiil. But he is very charismatic and charming and his get-rich-quick schemes often worked out, so Thal's mom got sucked into the relationship. She didn't believe Thal when she told her dad beat her up, because her husband is a very good manipulator too. All in all, the man sucks. One fine day when he was asleep Thalion got into his room, lit up a candle, dropped it on the floor and burned the whole shop to hell. Her father suffocated in the process. Her mom wasn't home. The arson got pinned on Thal, but she denies it vigorously to this day. But if you ask her about it again, she'll probably say 'yeah, i did it'. 50. If your character was presented with imminent and unavoidable death/fatality, how would they react? Would they try to avoid death anyways? Would they try to make their last days count? So, if Thally was in Martin's shoes? At first she'd try to get out of it, but after time/if her loved onea were included, she'd do the right thing.
