If it hasn't been requested, can I request an Amamatsu lovechild, please? Preferably a girl because I can't stop HC-ing Rantarou with a daughter x3 But I won't force you :)
Tumblr media
TBH I headcanon him with a daughter also! Here’s a Fanchild I am currently developing in my “canon” fanchild universe. She is the SHSL Traveler and her name is Akemi! I’ll prolly redo a sprite of her and post it on my art acc~ enjoy!

Hmm, you know, that fanart of the Amamatsu fanchild suddenly inspired me to write another nDRv3xFire Emblem: Awakening crossover featuring Rantaro’s daughter from the future. I’ve written it under the cut since it’s rather long:
Imagine that when Rantaro is still a teenager, his daughter from the future comes back in time to save the lives of him and all of his classmates from an eminent threat of a zombie apocalypse. And he’s like super surprised but yet still pretty calm when he realizes that she’s his daughter who’s technically around the same age as him! It is super disorienting--he’s in a loving relationship, but never did he thought he would have a kid! It turns out that she’s the Ultimate Traveler who was traveled pretty much everywhere in her world of the future as she kept running from hordes of zombies, but never has she traveled through time until now. Personality-wise, she’s happy-go-lucky, not terribly stressed out over the impending apocalypse, but she still is concerned, primarily for her friends who are, incidentally, the children of his other classmates! Oh, and she carries on her person a small bracelet tied around a trinket called the traveling penny which, according to legend, brings good fortune to travelers on the road. She claims that it was given to her by her father (Rantaro) when she was young just before he went missing during a zombie raid. She thought that he had died and tried to press on, forcing negative thoughts away as she kept traveling on and on and on, hoping to outrun her sadness when he left her alone. So far, she attributes her success on her travels to that penny as she believes that her father watches over her. Whenever she feels down, she simply gazes upon her bracelet and finds the strength to press forward, fight off the zombies, protect her friends, and find some way to prevent the apocalypse by traveling back in time and warning her father’s generation. It was too late for her world--she and the rest of her peers had failed in ending the ongoing future of despair, so their only hope was left in the past. And she nearly cries when she sees Rantaro again, even though he looks much younger than what she remembers. He, of course, is kinda confused having not ever met her before, but it seems by instinct, he knows that she must be telling the truth. Thus, he protects her as much as he can for as long as he can as if she was one of his little sisters. He’s curious to know what happens in the future (and how he comes to have her and what kind of father he is, incidentally), so he invites her to chat with him over some tea. He’ll even offer to paint her nails whenever they have some time to chat. He can’t help but feel bad over her plight and the hardships she had to endure, but he also feels slightly awkward and at a loss for words considering that he had no clue that she even existed. During these peaceful moments, she recounts all the adventures her father used to take her on before the hoards of zombies swept across the world. And she loved the excitement she felt while traveling with him; it gave her a sense of freedom and appreciation of beauty that she missed since she had to flee so often. So she became accustomed to enjoying the little things in life because she never knows which day will be her last. In a way, she thinks of her frequent traveling as a way to find her father. She doesn’t want to believe that he’s dead, so she keeps searching the Earth in her own time and in the past until she found him.

Here’s a small ref of Akemi! Not much has changed from her old design (Which can be found here!) aside from the addition of a hoodie, tiny flashlight, and the actual design for her bag. Lots of people seem to appreciate her design so why not draw her more? Some info about her is under the cut like my other fankids, Enjoy!
Brief description of Akemi Amami!:
Where to start? Akemi is the SHSL Traveler, having traveled many different countries, has over 10 scrapbooks filled with photos of her trips/family, and can same any territory of land and it’s languages, dialects and capitals. She is a rather mellow person when it comes to listening to others, and her laid back attitude can cause her to come off as an airhead. But she is the opposite! Akemi enjoys sleep and can be lazy, but when she isn’t tending to her casual moods, she is constantly lost in thought.
Her everlasting need for answers and knowledge, can lead her to isolate herself and overthink at times, but nonetheless her curious nature never subsides. Willing to lend a hand to others, she can easily be befriended and is a person who would lend an ear to anyone. However, once she gets ahold of the conversation and what *she* wants to talk about... It is nearly impossible to shut her up.
The concept of growing up is pretty scary for her also. Her mother and father gave her the upmost of their affection, causing her to be dependent on them for many things, leading her to have problems with facing the reality of growing up, or just facing harsh truths in general.
