Helena won 45% of the vote and many people ignored the rules to put Helena as their first, second, and third character, on top of their favourite secondary character

never played love and legends before but after being in several romance game fandoms and seeing how the female LIs (if they exist) are largely forgotten and less popular than their male counterparts, it warms my heart to see a woman dominating a popularity poll for once. you go helena, whoever you are (she looks very cool by the way)

In pretty much any fandom but especially otome games/dating sims, the female characters are ignored by the fandom to the point where the devs give up on them. Having Helena and Altea be so popular, and frankly the popularity of women in Lovestruck games as a whole, is amazing to me! I need more of it!

So. one thing about remaking Love & Legends...

The first part to do after I finish a season is to go through all the episodes and write down what new assets are needed. Now, Alain's route ends after 5 seasons, which means it's on an accelerated timeline and certain assets, such as Sophie's spy outfit, the Witch Queen's new form, wedding outfits, etc. show up a bit earlier

For season 5, I knew with his wedding I'd be on track to drawing Alain and MC, plus all the guests in fancy new outfits

Then the game decided to be funny
