So y’all know how in The Arcana, each love interest had a patron Arcana that symbolized them(Julian had The Hanged Man, Portia had The Star, etc), and everyone’s patron Arcana played a important role in the overall plot of the game? I think it might be the same thing with the flowers that symbolizes each Touchstarved love interest.

Maybe the flowers carry a important significance to the plot beyond “oh this specific flower reminds me of this specific character”; Vere’s flower reveal post seems to hint at his own personal history through the mythological context of his flower that symbolizes him, the amaryllis bogota. Why would they take the effort to create that post if it wasn’t relevant to the overall plot of Touchstarved? So I wonder what everyone else’s flower reveal posts will say about them and whether if we could use the mythos of each flower as a way to get possible good or bad endings in each route????

Also random thought, but it’ll be cute if we could gift the LIs the flower that represents them in the game at some point.

Now thinking about the flower descriptions having to do more directly with the LIs, im thinking about amaryllis bogota and the spilt blood of a scorned lover and an ancient senobian ritual gone wrong.
