Know Your Strengths And Weaknesses Inside Out?

One of the most important things that I tell them is that you have to know yourself and what that means is you have to know your strengths but you also have to know your weaknesses because it's only with that self-knowledge that you can gain that strength to go beyond. So we talk about like Walter Isaacson's book about Steve Jobs. The one thing that became evidently clear in that book like some people think okay, Steve Jobs was this and that. You look at Bezos. His book is out in vent and wander. You look at these guys and people are like - oh they're this they're that but at the end of the day the one quality that binds them, that binds all successful people even fighters. 

If you look at Mike Tyson, if you look at Tyson fury who right now as we're recording this as the heavyweight champion is that these guys know themselves, they know their strengths they know their weaknesses but they have this deep self-realized understanding of who they are and so did Steve Jobs. He knew exactly who he was and what his purpose was. Bezos coming out of D.H. Hutton one of the big adventure firms you know figuring out dude he knew exactly who he was when he started amazon and what he was going to do. He was going to take cheap money from wall street, pump it into silicon valley and build the world's most powerful e-commerce company and it's it's exactly what he did with that knowledge.

The Four Pillars Of Foundational Success

When we're really young we think hey man I don't care about tomorrow. Let me just focus on today. Let me make my money today. Yeah, but it's not the right way of thinking. The right way of thinking is you got to build a foundation, a table with four legs is much better than a table with two. So the first leg, the first leg of your foundation should be your job or whatever you're doing maybe you're selling your hours for money and working your way out of that but it keeps your baby in diapers, it keeps food on the table, it allows you to go and live a stable life. Have stability now. If you've got a trust fund, great! That could be that first leg. If you've got a rich husband a rich wife whatever that is, that could be your first leg of your stability but you need to have that stability and for most of us we have to go out there and work and hustle. 

The second leg should be cash flow, positive real estate and you should be buying real estate or getting involved in real estate. You don't need money to do it and having that money create recurring predictable revenue streams for you is a lot of wealth that's been created through real estate and I encourage all of my students to get involved in that and we show you tips and tricks of how to do that. The third pillar and very important one in that is e-commerce. Now let's get to the fourth pillar. The fourth pillar you should have some money in the markets invest in. You know if you know about crypto you can invest a little bit in that but stocks bonds things that are compounding interest for you.

Selling Your Story or Products?

I think in general I'll tell you the number one problem that most entrepreneurs have and that's that they have the old way of thinking. Most entrepreneurs think to themselves dude I'm gonna Randy, I'm gonna go out there and create a better mousetrap and the world that's going to beat its way to my door and quickly they learn that in this world of social media and all these types of things that nobody gives a that you have a better mousetrap. There are lots of great products out there without any eyeballs and they don't sell any. So what do you do? 

What you do is you research markets, you research distribution and you create a product to feed into the distribution. If you give the market what it wants, what it needs, what it can't do without and you know how to tell a better story than the next guy. You are miles ahead of somebody who's like dude I've built a better thingamajig and I'm gonna go go tell people about it because then that person has to spend money advertising. They have to educate people. They have to build a market. They have to educate that market. They have to advertise. They have to do so much stuff. Instead, find the market find the distribution and just give it what it needs tell a better story bring extra value.

Art Of Smiling For A Guaranteed Customer Service Experience

▶ Video Transcript: I was 15 years old thinking I want to find wealth, fortune all the great things that America offers. Books were my friends. I read books by Napoleon Hill, books by Og Mandino, all the great old-time writers of that time. I read Tony Robbins and Wayne Dyer and all the personal development guys. This other guy named Stuart Wilde. I read his books and I thought, man, you know what? I'm I'm gonna leave home and I left home. I left and I was sleeping at that time in abandoned buildings or buildings that were under construction. Los Angeles was in a huge building boom at that time.

So I realized that I could get into these buildings late at night when the brokers weren't in there, wake up in the morning before they got there and I'd be out and I'd be living in luxury houses, maybe there wasn't electricity or water in those days in some of the places because they weren't built yet but it was a safe place to lay my head and subsequent to that I realized that there was a big electronic music scene. I had found a mentor, a guy who had agreed to take me under his wing and he was very familiar with the electronic music scene, the rave scene, the dance scene. So I got involved in that. I started throwing some clubs to make a little bit of extra money. I was still sleeping wherever I could lay my head and I remember that I would sleep behind the speakers, most people don't know this. In front of speakers, very loud, very hard to sleep. Behind speakers, super quiet and very warm. So I would sleep behind the speakers. I would wake up the club, would still be going on and I started looking around thinking how is the money being made in these places to realize only that it was by the drug dealers.

Sound (Sonic) Technology: Future of Vaping 

This is a series on how to hack and grow rich, make money online and how to overcome life and business/career issues. 

▶ Video Transcript: You're now listening to Hack & Grow Rich with Shaahin Cheyene and his co-host Bart Baggett. Where do you see vaping moving in the future? Do you think that like inhalation is going to be a means of delivery for other things like like medications like, I've seen one vape that was caffeine, right? Yeah, I spent a lot of time building this technology for pharma companies as well. All the big pharma companies, all the big tobacco companies were very interested and I've built several iterations of vaporizers using sound sonic technology. There's a way to do it, where you can use sound instead of heat nebulizers, very common form of vaporization actually uses ultrasound to volatilize plant matter. If you see nebulizers that people that are asthmatics or that has lung conditions those use ultrasound. It's got a small ultrasonic transducer. So we built an ultrasonic transducer that could volatilize things like cbd or cannabis and nicotine. It seems to me that when you and again I'm not talking from any scientific understanding but it seems to me that when you use a liquid just for the convenience sake that liquid is also getting into your lungs. The beauty of using whole plant vaporizers is the fact that you are only taking elements directly from the plant. There's nothing added to the plant. So what you're getting is just those elements. Sure, you are getting an oil, a terpene, a cannabinoid, thc, whatever it is that settles on the lungs and goes through the lungs. The lungs are intended only for taking pure clean air if you can get it. But I think it's one step removed to say okay, we're just going to heat it up to get what we need. I think that's fairly benign in my opinion assuming the devices are built well enough. When you move into using these liquids that who knows what's in them. And some companies might have more reliable ones than others but when you move into the liquids and you move into the crystals and you move into the heavily processed materials for the convenience of being able to carry them in a small portable battery operated device, then you approach that problem. And now you know there's a lot of companies that are making smaller vaporizers. But I always espouse if not smoking anything but if you're going to do it you should vaporize and if you're going to vaporize you should use a whole plant vaporizer as opposed to an e-cig or an e-vape for health reasons if you if you can. That makes sense that makes sense. 

Question. Vapor was the first company that you took IPO. So my question for you is how long after your patent did you go IPO and if it and this was the first vape company to go IPO, correct? I think it was one of the first and I didn't take it IPO. I sold the company to a guy that took it public and I was not involved in that process with Vape here. I exited me and the investors the early stage investors we all exited.
