Its hard for someone who doesnt understand how anxiety and depression effect someone to understand that you're facing some dragons and you can't just' get over it' or 'stop being sad'. In my experience, I've just had to simply state that, I just need to be alone, I cant handle this situation and this is what i need to do ect. Its a tough situation to explain to someone who doesnt understand. But take care of yourself

My problem is slightly different - I'm trying to keep friends IN on the loop from these last few days, but I don't want to freak them out. Because previously, my reactions to all these different things (that are now happening all at once) have been less than pleasant.

Because apparently "There's no reason to be worried. I'm safe and not going to do anything bad" isn't an appropriate way to open a conversation?

Were you free?  We tried to contact you!  (You didn’t miss much, they got through 2 rooms.  We stopped right before a fight and any kind of story.  Though you did miss Gretchen’s character getting a gold tooth from a goblin as collateral for that guy’s life and then biting and licking it to determine if it was real before stuffing it down her saggy old lady cleavage.  Both checks, by the way, were the same exact roll of 3 and told her nothing about whether it was a real gold tooth.)
