If you’re into horror movies like me (my first true love) as well as dark religious themes and also wanna support your BL faves, then make sure to support Hoon Payon when it comes out in March so it gets the attention it deserves. I’m hoping it’ll have an international streaming date soon, because I’m really looking forward to this one. It has a lot of the elements I like in a horror movie plus is also stars a whole slew of BL actors, like;

Up (Gene from Lovely Writer)

Phuwin (Pi from Fish Upon The Sky / Nuengdiao from Never Let Me Go)

Nick (Nick from Tell The World I Love You - Bromance but it still counts to many BL fans lol)

James (Top from Summer Buddies - an OG BL miniseries that GMM put out the same time as SOUTS first hit the air)

Amy (Mint from 609 Bedtime Stories)

Seriously, the cast us great, the story sounds so good and the teaser trailer is chilling. If you’re a BL fan but also into horror like I am, keep this one on your radar because it looks like it’s gonna be really good.

I finally watched the first two episodes of The Rebound today and it was so much better than I thought it would be.

I have to admit I'm not a fan of Meen and Ping. I watched their two other series and it didn't work for me. That's why I wasn't in a rush to try The Rebound. I thought I wouldn't like it. At the moment, I had other series that I found more compelling, so The Rebound wasn't high on my watch-list.

Turns out I was wrong. Of course, it's only the first two episodes and it could disappoint me later, but right now it's pretty solid for me. The plot and the setting are interesting. Sports series usually work well for me because they bring an easy emotional connection. So far so good.

Another miracle, I kind of like Frank's character Atom. He is still a mystery because we don't know him well, but I really want to know more about him. I'm usually getting annoyed pretty quickly by Frank's characters. I don't know if it is because of his acting or the personalities of who he plays.

The main leads are the classic childhood friends who will turn lovers. We'll see how it goes. Right now, they are pretty okay.

The gangster / street basketball part is bringing also the right amount of tension and drama.

Anyway, The Rebound is surprisingly very interesting and I actually want to watch the next episode.
