#text#just a little heads up#in case someone starts wondering who this is#let me give a little story time for the sudden change#i took my first solo trip last week!#i flew over to singapore for a weekend to go see yoongi live#it was the first time i saw him again after six years#in all my years of being an ARMY‚ yoongi has always been the one i could relate the most to#he's also been one of the people i have always found solace in amidst everything that has happened in my life#so i'm very much thankful to have had the opportunity to see him on his first solo tour#and to have been able to hear some of his songs live‚ as they have helped me through some of the toughest battles these past years#amygdala‚ among his most recent releases‚ has been a song that struck me the most#it reflects all the experiences yoongi has lived before he got to where he is now#it reminds me of how strong he is‚ physically‚ emotionally‚ and mentally#one line from the song emphasizes this as he says‚#“the neverending trails failed to kill me‚ and once again‚ i bloom a lotus flower”#and after witnessing everything that has happened in his life#i am filled with immense pride seeing and knowing he has achieved all his dreams for himself#he has made it through despite all of life's trials and tribulations#and has shown that nevertheless‚ life continues#(and don't worry‚ it will eventually be for the better)#thank you‚ yoongi‚ i owe you my life
