Ana Mercedes

- is known to 911 viewers as Isabel Diaz, Eddie's abuela/grandmother. Her children are Pepa [Terri Hoyos] and Ramon [George DelHoyo].

Ana was born in Costa Rica. She danced and acted from a young age, and returned to acting fully after raising her family (around the early 90's).

She has had a large number of day-player roles on shows including CSI, Medium, Curb your Enthusiasm, Shameless and Riverdale. There have also been longer, recurring roles such as those on West Wing and Arrow.

We know that Ana's 911 character, Isabel Diaz, enjoys watching her telenovelas. In her acting career, Ana has enjoyed roles on daytime TV including three years as Connie on 'The Bold and The Beautiful'. (See image below)

In 2017, Ana appeared with Harry Dean Stanton in what became his last film, 'Lucky'. Other films include 'The Itty Bitty Titty Committee' (2007) and Sundance Award winner (Best Dramatic Short) 'Un Dia En la Vida'.

Ana has done a deal of commercial and voice-over work, in both Spanish and English (although not as much as her 911 'son', George DelHoyo).
