Sisters Know Best
Ana-Maria Crnogorčević x Wälti!Reader
Word Count: 2.2k
A/N: I may or may not have forgotten the Olympics was a thing. Oops
[WOSO Masterlist]
Consciousness comes to you slowly. Eyes gently fluttering open, your smile is automatic at both the feel and sight of your favorite person wrapped around you.
Ana’s face is peaceful and relaxed as she still remains fast asleep, arms securely locking you against her body.
You’ve missed this. Being able to fall asleep and wake up to Ana is something you took for granted until suddenly you weren’t able to do so anymore.
Her departure from Barcelona was unexpected, for both you and her. None of your teammates knew it was coming as well. A relationship that blossomed during the last half of your one year overlap at Barcelona was suddenly subjected to the distance between your club teams.
But the two of you made things work. Facetime dates were a regular occurrence, so were the trips to visit one another during short breaks of play. One and a half years after you began dating, your relationship is still going strong.
As much as you would have loved to stay trapped against Ana until she woke, eventually your bladder wins, urging you to find an escape to the bathroom. It takes a couple minutes, but eventually you wiggle your way to freedom without waking Ana.
After relieving yourself, you’re halfway between the bathroom and your bedroom when you notice the jacket hanging from the hook by the front door. The jacket that very much was not present when you and Ana got to the house earlier in the day.
Eyes wide, you have to remind yourself to stay calm.
A year and a half into dating, you’re already certain Ana’s the love of your life. But that doesn’t negate the fact that you’ve known her nearly almost all of your life. And of course you had no one but Lia to thank for that fact.
Ana’s been your sister’s best friend for as long as you could remember.
And that would be cool, everything would be 100% fine. Except… maybe Lia’s still unaware of your relationship.
Initially, the two of you kept it under wraps, not wanting Lia’s unwanted opinions to potentially interfere with whatever was happening between the two of you. But then as time moved on, as you and Ana settled down into a smooth relationship, separated from your sister by both a country and the English Channel, you didn’t feel the rush to disclose your relationship to her.
The stress of the world cup last year allowed your relationship to remain undetected during the off-season. Lia didn’t have the time or brainpower to focus on anything other than keeping your national team together and functioning under the direction of your head coach who could barely string a coherent play together.
But that was last year. And now, more than a year after you and Ana made things official, you still have not told Lia about your relationship. And with the beginning of this off-season, you’re about to spend the majority of two months together with no major tournaments to act as a distraction.
A part of you is really hoping you just missed the jacket when you arrived earlier, but the more logical side of your brain tells you you’re as fucked as you think you are.
Tip-toeing down the stairs, you pop your head around the corner into the kitchen.
Lia looks up from where she’s sat by the counter when you push the door open. You were already expecting to see her there, but you still can’t mask the surprise in your voice. “Lia? What are you-- You’re home!”
Your sister raises an amused eyebrow at the tone in your voice. “It’s great to see you too.”
Shaking yourself out of your shock, you lunge forward, letting Lia pull you into the comforts of her arms. “Missed you,” you grin, momentarily forgetting your girlfriend is fast asleep upstairs.
Though the thought quickly returns when Lia gestures towards the front door, hidden behind the wall. “I noticed you got new shoes?”
Paling, you remember the way you had to bribe Ana with kisses to neatly place her shoes next to yours by the rack.
“Yeah! I did a little bit of shopping in Barcelona before coming home,” is the first lie that passes through your mind, something you’re quick to voice.
“I can see that,” Lia chuckles, tugging at your unfamiliar but also so obviously worn down sweatshirt. It’s just your luck that you’re also wearing one of Ana’s sweatshirts right as this moment. You find yourself wanting to curse your girlfriend out. Dubbed Ana’s ‘favorite,’ this piece of clothing is your go-to for stealing. It just always smells like her and makes you feel safe, but safe is the last thing you feel as you are quick to nod again, lying that you did indeed get a new piece of clothing too.
The two of you chat about everything and nothing, making up for lost time. While you’re so obviously just trying to buy time as you try to come up with a way to either sneak Ana out of the house or come clean to Lia without facing her wrath, you come bask in the presence of your sister. You really have missed Lia.
After spending the majority of your career chasing Lia from club to club, you finally made your break away from her two seasons ago to Barcelona. Leaving Arsenal was hard, but you were ready for something new. And Lia was more than happy to support you.
Some time in between Lia praising how well the new Arsenal players have cemented their place on the team over the season and discussing which possible movie the two of you should go put on, Lia ducks under the cabinet to pull out the kettle, intent on making some tea. You use the brief moment of distraction to make your getaway.
“Oh shoot, I forgot my phone upstairs in my room. Do you mind waiting here for me while I quickly go get it?”
Lia chuckles, gesturing to stove. “Go for it. I won’t be joining you until our tea’s done.”
Your trainers at Barcelona would be proud of the speed to which you race out of the kitchen and then back up the stairs to your room.
To your delight, and horror, Ana’s already awake, sleepy smile sent your way when you shut the door behind you.
“Hi baby--”
“Lia’s home,” you whisper, cutting Ana off.
The blonde’s eyes grow in size as she bolts upright in your bed.
“What do you mean? I thought you said she wouldn’t be back until…” Ana’s words trail off when she flips over her phone and sees the time.
The two of you definitely napped for longer than you originally intended to.
“You’ve got to go. Lia’s about to hunker me down with a movie marathon. God knows how long you’ll be stuck here if you don’t try sneaking out now.”
Ana blinks. “How exactly are you going to sneak me out then?”
You point towards the window in your room. “I’ve snuck out of the house multiple times growing up. There’s a tree that you can climb out and get into the front yard from.”
Ana balks, looking at you as if you just grew three heads. “You want me to sneak out the window and climb down a tree?!”
You roll your eyes, pressing a sweet kiss against Ana’s panic-stricken face. “Don’t worry, it’s perfectly safe.”
Turning around, you head for your closest. After a bit of digging you finally pull out an old pair of tennis shoes.
“Here, wear these,” you whisper, shoving the shoes into Ana’s hands
Ana frowns, though she does as you say and slips on the offered shoes. “Why can’t I just wear mine?”
“Lia was asking me whose shoes they were and I said I got some new shoes in Barcelona.”
Ana shoots you a look that tells you she’s less than impressed with your white lie. “I better get those shoes back. They were expensive.”
You have to muffle your snort, both of you knowing very well the chances of you returning them would be close to 0. “I know, I was there when you bought them.”
Ana pinches your cheek for the sass, and you respond by giving her ass a little slap as she slips pass you towards the window.
Though she rolls her eyes, you can see the smile on her lips.
“If I break my neck before the international break I’m blaming you,” she mumbles, swinging her legs through the opening.
“Such a sweet-talker,” you shoot back, ignoring her huff of faux-annoyance. Instead, you lean in to press a light kiss against Ana’s lips.
“Call me?”
You nod. “As soon as Lia lets me go.”
With one last grin over her shoulder Ana shuffles fully out the window onto the roof. You only wait until you see Ana begin her descent before hurrying back down the stairs towards Lia.
The brunette’s already sitting in the living room, movie pulled up when you come skidding to a stop next to her. To your relief it seems as if Lia’s been engrossed in her phone the whole time you’ve been gone.
She looks up with a grin, lifting up a corner of her blanket for you.
“I’m thinking we can start with The Sorcerer’s Stone and make our way down from there.”
It isn’t until the sun’s long set and the two of you have switched to watching cooking shows for the past two hours that Lia rises with a yawn.
She pats your leg, stretching as she stands. “I think I’m going to head to bed.”
Sleepily nodding, you sink deeper into the blankets. “I’ll probably watch another episode or something before heading up,” you mumble, fully content with letting your sleepiness take over right here right now. Though your body would most likely hate you tomorrow when you wake, your bed on the second floor just seems so far away.
Lia doesn’t say anything else, giving you a gentle hum as she makes her way towards the light switch. Dimming the lights a bit, she watches with amusement as your eyes slowly flutter, trying, but failing, to keep yourself awake.
You’re two seconds from drifting off into a peaceful sleep when Lia speaks up, not having fully left the living room yet. Spoken over her shoulder almost as an afterthought, her parting words have you suddenly snapping wide awake.
“Next time Ana comes over let her know she can use the front door to enter and leave like a normal person.”
---
Closing the door as quietly behind her as she can, Lia pops her head over the wall separating the front door from the living room.
Her face falls into a frown when she doesn’t see you anywhere on the first floor.
You had texted your sister that you made it back to Switzerland only hours ago. Surely you haven’t already left the house without waiting to see her first?
Sighing, she toes off her shoes, not without noticing a new pair of shoes sitting by the shoe rack. You must have gone shopping or something, Lia muses before heading for the stairs.
There’s really only one other place you could possibly be if you were still in the house. Dropping her bag off in her room, Lia lightly skips towards your bedroom. It’s only been two months since you last saw each other in person, but you and Lia have always been extremely close, and paired with how her season ended, Lia just really wanted to see you.
Quietly cracking open your door, Lia pokes her head into your room.
The first thing she notices is how dark it is. The blinds in your room have been drawn, the only light filtering into the room being through the door she has opened.
It takes a couple seconds for Lia’s eyes to adjust, and when it finally does, she can’t stop her mouth from dropping open.
Well there you were, definitely not roaming the streets of your childhood town. But what she’s not expecting is the extremely familiar head of blonde hair tucked around you like a protective shield.
The shock quickly turns to affection as Lia smiles to herself at the adorable sight of you and Ana cuddled together in your sleep. Pulling her phone out to snap a quick picture of the two of you deep in sleep, Lia quietly closes the door behind her as she sets her sights for the kitchen.
Her sister and best friend? Together? Totally unexpected but Lia couldn't be more than happy for the two of you.
And when you sleepily stumble into the kitchen nearly an hour later, panic crossing your face at the sight of Lia already home, well who can blame Lia for having a bit of fun at your expense?
Especially when it means she gets to see Ana ungracefully scale the tree outside your bedroom window.

Be Proud (Ana Maria-Crnogorcevic x reader)
Tumblr media
A/N: Based off this request.
You had missed your girlfriend dearly. So much so that you were tempted to break the curfew so you could go to her hotel and see her before you became opponents.
In the end you decide against it.
The first time you see Ana is when you walk onto the pitch for the inspection. She is talking to Jenni in the centre whilst you stand on the sidelines with Alexia.
“You can go see her you know?” Your club captain nudges you.
What Alexia didn’t know is that you had been warned by Jorge not to see her before the game. He said he needed his star forward focused and even went as far to call Ana a distraction. Something that didn’t settle well with you.
“I’ll wait till after the game. I can’t deal with him before the game” you shrug your shoulders but Alexia knew that you played your best football when you saw Ana, whether that is when she’s by your side or a quick hi before kick off.
“I’m going over and you’re coming with me” she puts her arm round your shoulder and all but pushes you towards your girlfriend.
You don’t make your presence known immediately as Jenni is in the middle of speaking. Ana, on the other hand, had no problem in turning all her attention to you regardless if Jenni is talking or not.
It was sickening to those around them. It didn’t matter whether there was twenty people around, when you and Ana was in close proximity everyone and everything around you became irrelevant.
“Hi” your tone is low.
“Hi” Ana replies; the corner of her mouth rising to form a smirk.
It had been mere weeks since you last saw her but you could have sworn she’s changed somehow.
“Anyways don’t take it personally when we beat you” Jenni unintentionally ruins the moment between you. Her words bring back the reality of the reason why Ana is standing in front of you in the first place.
“Ana what—“
“Don’t. This is part of the sport. Sometimes we are team mates and sometimes we are opponents”
“Win or lose. You’re mine” you say. It was both a question and a statement.
Ana doesn’t have the chance to respond as she is called over by her coach.
It was game time.
You had put on a flawless performance but this came at a cost, not for you but for Ana because Spain’s win sent Switzerland home. For the first time in your career you wasn’t entirely happy about winning.
Ana was your first thought when the whistle was blown but Jorge pulled you over to him and the coaching staff.
“Great game Y/N. See what happens when you’re not distracted” Jorge says smugly. That man’s arrogance and annoyance knew no bounds.
“Me and the girls played well now if you’ll excuse I am going to show respect to our opponents and that includes my girlfriend”
The blonde woman saw you walking over and met you half way. She had a look of disappointment on her face which is to be expected but she also wore a smile on her face. Even in the defeat she had the energy to be proud of you.
“You could have taken it easy on us” she says as she pulls you into her arms. With the height difference she can just about rest her chin on the top of your head.
“I did” you say rather smugly. Ana pulls away and gives you a look, one which makes you regret your comment “Sorry”
“Don’t be. I’m proud of you Y/N”
“Ana, you should be proud of how you played. Not just today but of every game you have played so far”
“You’re biased” Ana wanted to believe you but with the results they had it was hard.
“I am but that doesn’t mean what I’m saying isn’t true”
The two of you were so caught up in each other that you didn’t realise both of your teams had begun doing their lap of the field thanking those who came to support them. Not wanting to be rude you joined them but stay together instead of going to your team mates. Ana’s arm rested comfortably on your shoulder as you walk. It was her way of keeping you close and in the bubble that was sure to be popped once you reached the tunnel.
“Can we swap shirts?” You ask timidly.
“I would love to but I have promised it to someone else”
“Who? Was it Jenni? Aitana? Alexia? Tell me who it is and I’ll fight them for it. I’m the only one that’s allowed to wear Crnogorcevic on the back of my shirt”
Ana cannot help but laugh at your protectiveness and she knows that you will soon soften when she tells you who is getting her shirt.
“You’re cute but you won’t be fighting anyone” she says confidently.
“Watch me” you weren’t backing down. You wanted Ana’s shirt. Who could be more important than her girlfriend.
Ana removed her arm and chose to hold your hand instead whilst pulling you towards the family and friends section, the Spanish family and friends section. She hopped the barrier, you followed in suit and together you walked to where Irene was talking to Lucia and their son. Mateo reached out his arms and chose to be held by you instead of Irene. Something which you loved.
Your girlfriend watched the way you held him and the way you talked to him as if he was your best friend. She loved seeing you with Mateo because it gave her a glimpse of what the future could look like.
You were so caught up with the little boy in your arms that you didn’t notice Ana taking her shirt off, almost.
“Irene. I won’t let you wear my girlfriend’s shirt. Nope, sorry, not going to happen”
The look the defender gave confused you.
“Wrong Parades Y/N”
Ana then proceeds to handing Mateo her shirt.
“How can I fight him? He’s so cute and small and look at those cheeks” you knew in that moment that there’s nothing you could do.
“Told you so” Ana knew that you would have no problem letting the little boy have her shirt.
Irene takes her son from you and puts him down. It gives you the opportunity to place the shirt over his head and helping him get his arms through. You have no problem admitting he looked cute in Ana’s shirt.
The three of you, plus Mateo walk back across the pitch and towards the changing rooms.
“Next time, I get your shirt”
“Next time, I promise”

Secret Sweetheart - Ana-Maria Crnogorčević x Reader
A/n: Because who doesn't love AMC? Also I've basically been dangling this fic in front of @lostinwoso for a while now but I finally finished it and started working on the sequel before the final yesterday... enjoy!
///
No more dating teammates. That was what Ana decided after her last break-up.
Walking towards the door that opened out onto the path to the training pitch, Ana was not expecting to catch one of her teammates in her arms as they stumbled backwards. Her hands on your hips to steady you, Ana couldn’t help but smell a sweet citrus scent as you twisted in her arms, your hands on her shoulders momentarily before you gave the Swiss woman a sweet smile.
Your sweet smile was contradicted by the mischievousness in your eyes however, as you headed away, secretly plotting how to get back at Patri later.
The citrus scent soon faded as Ana was snapped out of her haze by the door opening behind her, revealing a confused Leila who was wondering why Ana was blocking the door.
“What are you doing?” Leila enquired, but you were long gone, so Ana looked like she was just blocking the door for no reason, the Swiss woman shrugging at Leila before the Spaniard hooked an arm around her shoulders, heading towards the training pitch together.
She might sound ridiculous but there was something about the way you smelled like baked goods that had Ana intrigued. Did you live near a bakery? You didn’t, but you kept your secret to yourself.
Even when sweet treats started appearing in the canteen, these specific treats had been cleared by the dietary staff. Your teammates adored the banana bread that was left one day, then a few weeks later, somehow brownies had gotten approved by the staff (they had beetroot in, although nobody could tell).
Then one training after a UWCL group stage game, muffins appeared. Teammates none the wiser, they didn’t even notice how you never tried any of the healthy treats, but the pieces were slowly falling into place for the Swiss national player.
You smelt like ground spices one morning as you arrived at morning training. The aroma immediately catching Ana’s attention, she didn’t mean to let her eyes linger as you went to change into your training gear, but the playfully confused look as you glanced up from tying your laces didn’t go unnoticed by her.
“See something you like?”
“You smell nice today.” Ana could feel the heat on her face, you had caught her.
“Only today? I’m kidding, but you should probably get one of those protein ball things someone brought to the canteen this morning. That hungry look in your eye is quite noticeable.” You teased, grinning at how Ana's face went through several emotions quickly.
“Oh, really?” Ana let out a breath of laughter, her hand reaching out to your arm as you made to walk out to training.
“You might need the energy,” you took a step closer to the Swiss international player, biting your lip for a moment, “I think we’ve got a gym session today.”
Ana’s jaw hung open as you walked away, catching up with Patri to attempt to swipe the speaker from her, the aim being to try to play something other than reggaeton.
Your comment about ‘protein ball things’ as you put it, crept up again in Ana’s mind between training sessions for the day, the team heading inside when a shout from Pere down the corridor caught everyone’s attention.
“These things taste so good!”
You hid your smirk in a very fake sneeze, eventually turning it into a light cough, hiding the truth of the protein balls, and every other baked healthy treat that had appeared the last few months in the canteen.
Ana paused in chewing, the spices eliciting a hum as she enjoyed the taste of the protein ball, before familiarity hit her. She’d smelt these ground spices before somewhere…
///
“Are you going to dinner tonight?” Leila enquired, approaching you after training but you shook your head.
“I’m at a charity conference ball, I don’t know- Ale, what’s the mental health charity thing we’re at tonight supposed to be again?” You replied, turning to try to find your captain, who was talking to Ana and Irene.
“Gala.” Alexia filled in the blanks in your memory.
“Ah, yeah, smart clothes event. Smarter than smart clothes for team dinner anyway…” Your nose crinkled up, wondering if you could wear cleaned up trainers or if you needed to polish your smart shoes that you hadn’t worn since you were in school but still somehow fit.
“You say that like you do not dress up nicely for team dinners.” Ana pointed out, feeling heat in her cheeks as you smirked, making Alexia and Irene smile in amusement.
“Just team dinners?”
“No, no, not just-” Ana scrambled to fix her words, but you had already disappeared across the room to dance with Leila, leaving a smile on the Swiss international’s lips.
“Cheeky little-”
“You two would be good together.” Irene pointed out, whilst Alexia nodded in agreement, her eyes following where you were dancing and how Ana’s eyes still lingered on you.
///
The photos from the gala surfaced on the internet quickly, the photos of you and Alexia attending the charity gala on behalf of Barcelona, and on behalf of the mental health charity you had been involved with even in the early days of your career. Back when you volunteered and participated in bake sales to help raise money. Something you kept doing, anonymously though, even now.
Ana hadn’t meant to be so distracted by Instagram, but the photos of you dressed up for the gala were stuck in her mind, and on her phone as she looked at the smile on your face, the fight in your eyes.
Your work for the mental health charity dated back before you joined Barcelona, having spent two years in the WSL after moving from the Damallsvenskan. You were younger than Rolfö, who had gone from the Damallsvenskan in Sweden to the Frauen-Bundesliga, but you knew Rolfö from the Swedish national team…
“Ey!” Jenni laughed, turning around to find Ana had walked into the back of her. Ana hadn’t even realised she was daydreaming about you until she walked into the back of Jenni, who raised an eyebrow, grinning at her friend and teammate.
Whatever Jenni was saying went unheard as Ana spotted Rolfö with her arm around your shoulder, the two of you talking about something in Swedish but you smiled when you met Ana’s gaze.
“Hey, did you two hear? Someone brought Scandinavian foods in, they look homemade!”
“I think we will be the judges of that.” You whispered to Rolfö, stealing a wink at Ana before the two of you hurried away to find your fellow Scandinavian teammates on the team and get their opinions on your baking. But none of them knew it was your baking…
“Hmm, could be better.” You murmured but Rolfö elbowed you, a knowing look on her face. She’d had this treat once before, but it tasted even better than when you brought some to your first Swedish national camp years ago.
“You have gotten even better at making these.” Your national teammate whispered in Swedish to you, smiling as you bashfully looked down, trying to ignore the weird moans some of your teammates were making to emphasise how much they liked the anonymously donated baked treats.
“I try my best. Plus, better looking and better tasting, more money for charity.” You replied, your use of Swedish getting the attention of more than just Rolfö, but Caro and Ingrid shrugged it off, choosing to chat to Marta and Mapi, respectively, about the baked treats.
Ana watched from the corner of her eye, holding one of the baked goods in her hands, away from Leila who was about to swipe it.
“What do you think? Do you feel tempted by Scandinavian sweet treats now?” You teased Ana later on after practice, not expecting to see her smirk.
“I was feeling tempted by a Scandinavian sweet treat before now.” Ana’s boldness made your spine tingle with goosebumps, her hand drifting up to remove an eyelash from your cheek.
“What are you doing tomorrow night?” Biting your lip nervously, you waited for Ana’s answer, but her smile was enough.
“What do you have in mind?”
///
What you had in mind was Ana coming around to your place, especially when the restaurant you wanted to originally go to was closed for the evening for a deep clean or something. Or that’s what your friend (who had attended one of the bake sales you gave baked goods to in order to raise money for charity) said anyway.
One of which was coming up and you wanted to make something for it. The sweet aroma in the air had you cracking open a window, but you kept an eye on the timer, then the clock to check when Ana was arriving.
Glancing through the window of your oven, you observed the rising muffins carefully, taking another glance at the timer before hearing the buzzer go off.
Hurrying over to press the button to let whoever it was into the building, you checked through the peephole as Ana arrived at the door, opening it after taking another glance at the timer in your kitchen.
“Hey. I hope it’s okay we eat in…” chewing your lip, you were glad you requested a quiet but cosy and fun night instead of something fancy. The gala wiped out your motivation for fancy fancy right now.
“Well, this place smells amazing, what are you making?” Ana enquired, tilting her head to the side as she heard a timer go off.
“Muffins.”
“A lot of muffins?” Ana raised an eyebrow, but you didn’t see how her face lit up with realisation, and intrigue, because you were throwing on your oven gloves and removing the trays of muffins from the oven.
“These can’t be for the team…” Ana trailed off, having not figured out everything as you smirked slightly.
“Nope. My dear Sherlock, you have only figured out half of the puzzle. These are not for the team, these are for a charity bake sale. The team is only allowed the super healthy stuff that has to be approved by the dietitians.” You explained, amused by the look on Ana’s face.
“You act all tough on the pitch, but you are secretly a sweetheart.”
“Secretly? I mean… I keep the baking a secret, I used to volunteer for bake sales for charity before football. When football took off, I changed to doanting the baking anonymously. It means more than just being a face at a gala to me, dressed up in fancy clothing that you’re terrified you’ll somehow stain… plus my baking doesn’t entirely suck. Parents let their children get something from the bake sale… and the staff let the team eat what I anonymously donate to the canteen too. My baking isn’t poisonous.”
“Did you just compare the team to children?”
“Leila tried to steal your snack out of your hand because you were taking too long to eat it.” You deadpanned, making Ana grin at you in a way that left your cheeks feeling warm.
“So, what did you have planned for this evening? Besides revealing you’re a sweetheart who likes to bake for charity bake sales in your off time.”
“Um… order some takeaway, watch a movie and enjoy the evening with my favourite Swiss national player?” You chewed your lip, draping clean tea towels over the muffins for them to cool down undisturbed.
“Wow. Your favourite Swiss national player?” Ana replied, watching you squirm on the spot for a minute, “so what did you want to order? I don’t think there are any places that do Swedish desserts though.”
“Wow, let’s have dinner first, you have to take me out on a date before you get any Swedish dessert from me…” You murmured, not seeing how Ana’s cheeks were now aflame, as you turned to grab the local takeaway menus you had gathered from your time living in Barcelona.
///
It wasn’t much for a first date but Ana liked it enough that she decided to take you out next time for the second one. Especially after the two of you ended up snuggling on your couch, watching a movie and enjoying each other’s company a little too much.
You had been too nervous to kiss Ana, your confidence in your kissing ability having taken a nosedive. Lingering in the doorway when Ana went to head off for the night, how you chewed nervously at your lip but your gaze kept drifting from her eyes to hers? Ana figured it out. One hand on your hip and the other under your chin, taking a moment for you to nod. Yes you wanted this. Her lips met yours.
///
“What is that lovestruck smile for?” Rolfö teased as she found you staring into space, the lovestruck smile that she was referring to painted across your lips.
Pulling your bottom lip between your teeth, you smiled at your national teammate and best friend at the club.
“I had a good time last night.” You replied, spotting Ana arriving at the training pitch with the drinks cooler.
“With Ana? Finally, you two were taking forever!”
“Nobody else knows, we’ve only had two dates, and kissed once… but…” You trailed off, watching Ana in your periphery.
“But I’ve never seen you like this about anyone.” Rolfö teased, pulling you into a celebratory hug before everyone was called over to listen to what the coaches had to say for this training session.
///
Nobody else but Rolfö knew, at first anyway. The two of you were taking it slow after spending the Euros away from each other in England, Ana with the Swiss national team and you with the Swedish team. The two of you were keeping it to yourselves, but with a sprinkle of Rolfö teasing you with knowing looks and smiles when you and Ana stood within metres of each other upon reuniting in pre-season at Barcelona.
It wasn’t until everyone was eating together in the canteen that someone else noticed how close you and Ana had gotten, as Caro went to pick up her fork from the floor.
Climbing under the table to grab it, the Norwegian’s eyes landed on how Ana’s hand rested on your thigh. Obscured by the table from above, you both thought none of your teammates could see, but Caro had already seen enough.
The last member of the Nordics at Barcelona to find out was Ingrid, but it didn’t take long for her to find out either, trying to ask you a question about the movie that you, her, Caro and Rolfö had watched together last night. A question that went entirely unheard by you, because you were completely entranced by Ana, across the room.
“Do you see something you like? You are not subtle.” Ingrid asked, pointing out the obvious as you turned to look at her, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
Instead you were caught ogling your girlfriend but nobody else on the team knew you two were dating, besides each other, and Rolfö.
“I- I’m thirsty.” You stammered over your words, hurrying away to find your drinks bottle somewhere.
“Not for water.” Ingrid murmured under her breath, rolling her eyes playfully as Mapi approached, missing the context completely as she smiled in confusion at her girlfriend’s statement.
///
None of your other teammates had questioned the closeness between you and Ana, even when you were holding pinkies in the most obvious of moments around the team.
“Surprised you did not invite Ana to tonight.” Caro broke the quiet as the two of you prepped the snacks for movie night for the Nordic Barcelona teammates.
“She’s busy, and Switzerland and Croatia aren’t classed as Northern Europe?” You frowned in confusion, ignoring how you froze and almost dropped the bag of freshly popped popcorn everywhere but the bowl. You hoped your excuse was enough, because technically significant others were not here anyway.
“Her nationality doesn’t stop her from having her hand on your thigh at each team meal.” Caro chuckled, but you pretended like you didn’t hear her comment, mouthful of the popcorn you took through into the living room.
///
It wasn’t until El Clásico arrived that feelings came to a head. Real Madrid had never been close to a win, their determination, or desperation was showing.
Rolfö had Athenea in her pocket, the younger girl frustrated and almost turning the game into a wrestling match as she struggled.
Your love had managed to get the first goal of the match, not seeing how much her sliding on her knees in celebration had flustered you as Pina had beaten you in the race of being the first to hug her. (You got the photo printed after the match.)
Ana scored 4 minutes in, but the match was dragging out. Real Madrid’s desperation was beginning to irritate you as you had your jersey tugged more than once, hands trying to throw you off of balance but it wasn’t enough to bring you to your knees, (only Ana could do that) let alone take you down to the ground.
Rolfö crossed the ball in, but one of Real Madrid’s defenders got involved, leading to another corner for Barcelona and Mapi to take. It was a scramble as the ball fell down, reaching Patri’s feet but it was caught on a Real Madrid player, whose attempt to get the ball away led the ball to reach you, sending the ball flying in.
You barely had time to react as Ana sweeped you up into her arms, your fingers clinging to her jersey out of instinct as you rested your forehead against hers. Luckily Rolfö managed to reach the two of you in time to break the little moment, Irene moments later pulling you into a hug. But Irene’s hug didn’t have the same meaning that Ana’s did.
Your first goal came at the 43rd minute, but nothing else significant happened before half-time. You could almost taste the intensity of the match, especially the frustration from the Real Madrid team after their centre back, Rocío Gálvez caught the ball on the back of her heel, resulting in an own goal.
The grabbing and pushing was getting worse after that, looking back on it, you would call the battle you had with your marker more like a deadly tango of sorts, deadly because you were far more bruised than you had been when playing against Levante Las Planas three days prior.
Zornoza’s left footed attempt hit the post in the 58th minute, with the game turning to rough and tumble quickly after. It was during the chaos leading up to Rolfö’s goal in the 81st minute that you saw red.
Rocío Gálvez had sent Ana tumbling to the ground within the penalty area, the referee acting as the whistle was blown, but you took the whistle as one to lunge at Gálvez, only stopping in your tracks as Ana caught you, pulling you into her arms. Holding you close, the referee took time to declare a penalty to Barcelona would be given, the team looking between them for who would be the one to take it.
“Take the penalty for me?” Ana’s voice was all you heard through the ringing in your ears, pulling away from where you had buried your face in Ana’s jersey to look at her and nod. Her fingers reached up to wipe gently under your eyes, cupping your face as you met her gaze. Nodding with determination in your eyes, the two of you had to hurry before you were accused of time wasting.
You didn’t see Lucy trying to throw Misa off by doing the same warm-up as the goalkeeper usually did for penalties, standing in wait with a glare on your face.
The memory of you actually kicking the ball was blurry, but you remembered the ball in the net, Misa diving the wrong way and the look of despair on her face before Ana was spinning you around in celebration of your goal.
The memory of the 5-0 victory against Real Madrid was lodged in your mind, but your teammates recalled the game slightly differently compared to you and Ana. Because up until that match, your teammates (minus Rolfö, Caro and Ingrid) had no idea you and Ana were together.
“Since when have you two been a thing?”
“Finally!”
“You two can’t keep secrets from us!”
“They don’t know all our secrets.” You whispered to Ana, gesturing to the mystery that had resulted in you and Ana getting together in the first place. Your baking hobby that had inadvertently led to you catching Ana’s attention after she swore off dating teammates.
Your secret baking hobby had led to you becoming Ana’s sweetheart in all aspects of life. Whilst for you, in addition to all of that, Ana had become your partner in crime helping you prepare for the bake sales you donated your baking to, and becoming your plus one for some of the events you attended as you worked to support mental health charities.

Always dancing when you’re around • Ana Maria Crnogorčević
Hidden moments with Ana whilst your relationship is hidden from the public, until it isn’t not more. This fic is requested!
Tumblr media
“You’ve had too much to drink.” Ana giggled as you cling onto her arms, stumbling around with a cheeky grin on your face.
“We just won the best trophy, EVER!” You exaggerate, grabbing Patri’s hand. “MVP MVP MVP.” You began to chant, the rest of the team joining in.
You hiccuped and held onto Ana’s waist to keep you stood up right. She was the sober one, not a fan of drinking, but you had taken this opportunity to drink and oh did you drink…
“Baby, I feel all fizzy.” You held onto her, sliding your arms around her waist to keep you on your feet.
“Fizzy?” She chuckled. “Y/N/N, do you mean dizzy?”
You hummed and giggled, looking up at her. “Kiss me” You bit your lip, you hands rubbing at her sides.
“That I can do.” Your girlfriend smirks, leaning down to break the height barrier and kissing you softly until you pull away for a breath of air.
“You taste like cola” You tell her, dropping your head on her chest.
Later that night you were laying in bed with Ana, you were dead to the world as you were slotted between the taller girls strong thighs, your head on her chest.
She scrolled through her Instagram feed, clicking on Claudia’s story to see a video of Patri and Cata doing shots, what Claudia didn’t realise is that she had also captured yours and Ana’s heated moment in the back of the video which had now been posted for the world to see.
And that’s where the talking started. You and Ana had almost been dating a year when the first idea of you as a couple had popped into the public eye, and the fans went crazy for it.
-
When the full time whistle blows, you shake hands with the Switzerland team. Your eyes however only looking for one person. Your person.
"Y/N!" You turn around and see Ana calling you over, stood with Mariona and Lia.
"Hey" You smile softly, just wanting to wrap your arms around the taller girl and tell her how sorry you are.
Spain beat Switzerland 5-1 to advance to the quater finals. You were happy for your team but the feeling was bittersweet as you knocked your girlfriend out of the tournament.
"I'm sorry." You smile sadly with a few tears pricking in your eyes, you didn't like to see Ana sad and knowing you scored 2 against her makes it worse.
"Don't be sorry my love." She puts an arm around you and you hug her gently, being careful with your actions as your relationship is well and truly kept out of the public eye.
You tug on the bottom of her jersey as you pull away from each other. "Can we swap?"
"Of course!" She smiles through her tears, pulling her shirt off and swapping with you.
You keep control of yourself to not look at her with the eyes that are kept away from the rest of the world. Mariona nudged you and giggled when she saw you trying hard to look away from Ana's body.
"I wish we didn't have to do that." You frown, looking at her sad eyes. "I just want to hug you so bad right now." You breathe out.
"Me too, but not here, love." Ana looks at you with her loving eyes, the ones filled with adoration saved especially for you. "I'll find you inside." she promises.
You nod as you continue to chat for a while, until Alexia comes over and tells you that the national team staff have asked for everyone to come into the changing room to get ready to head back to the hotel as you had a flight to catch.
-
Once you'd changed back into your travel wear you put Ana's jersey into your own bag to keep it with you so it wasn't to get lost with the luggage for the kitman.
You waited outside the Swiss changing room with Mariona, turning your head everytime the door opened.
Finally Ana emerged alongside a few of her teammates that you didn't know too well. She told them that they should go off ahead and that she would catch them up, wanted a few minutes with her 'club teammates'.
Mariona turned her back to keep watch for Vilda or any of the other spanish staff that would put an end to the meeting.
"I love you so much." You whispered as Ana held you close, rubbing her hands up your sides as she kissed you softly. "Keep messaging me everyday, even when you go back to Switzerland?" You ask, holding her hands in yours and fiddling with her ring, the ring you have the matching bracelet too.
"I'll message you everyday sweetheart." She kissed your forehead. "Go show the world what a true star you are yeh? I've seen the running for Golden boot. Your in the lead." She smirks. "I want the trophy on the shelf above the bed. Next to the photo of us on the beach."
"I'll try my hardest." You nod, going on tiptoes again to kiss her, melting into each others touch but being broken apart when Mariona coughs, the signal to tell you to split because someone was close by.
Ana presses one more kiss onto your mouth. "I could kiss you forever." She whispers. "I'll see you soon."
-
On the bus to the airport you sit besides Mariona. You could say you were best friends but she was more like your sister.
"What's the address for the base camp hotel?" You lift your head up from her shoulder.
"Um, it's on my phone somewhere. Sent it to Laia the other day. Why?"
"Ana just asked. Said she wants to send something." You shrug your shoulders a little to say you didn't know much more than that. "Can you send her it from yours?"
She nods.
"Thank you."
You rest your head back onto her shoulder and scroll through social media.
Someone had been keen to spying out the events between you and Ana after the game as photos and videos had made it to Twitter already.
Under a photo of you swapping shirts there were loads of comments saying 'Aww' and 'Barca friends!' but a few fans weren't silly and they knew what they were looking at.
One comment said: 'Reason 1482 to why I think they're dating! Watch Mariona giggling at Y/N when Ana takes off her shirt!🤣'
You smirked to yourself and slipped your phone away, trying to get a bit of sleep before the plane ride.
-
Why Ana wanted the team hotel address all came clear a few days later when a parcel turned up for you.
"Y/N, a package!" Vilda calls you over after a training session, handing you the brown box.
"Thank you."
You take the box up to your room and put it on the bed. "What did you order?" Mariona asks, laying on her bed in your shared room.
"Nothing" You tell her, using a pen to stabbed at the tape to open it up. "I think it's from Ana."
You open the box to see one of her hoodies, one she took back from you after you'd 'borrowed' it from her in the first place. You smile as you lift it up and put it onto the bed, seeing her Barca shorts from a few seasons back with '18' on the leg of them. She knew you loved to wear her old Barca stuff around the apartment and for bed sometimes.
You find a beaded bracelet with the letter of your name on, another with an A too. A small note telling you that she has the matching ones.
"You two make me sick, your so soppy." Mariona teases, flopping back the bed.
Rummaging through your bag you pull out your phone and try to call her. It goes to answer phone a few times then you realise she must still be travelling home to Switzerland.
Instead, you decide to leave her a message.
You
I love you Ana. Call me when you land, I miss your voice. ❤️
-
Spain get knocked out by the Netherlands and your on your flight home when you see the message you’ve been waiting for pop up on your phone.
Ana 👅👅
Flying back to Barca tomorrow morning babygirl, I’ll crash at yours and pick you up from airport xx
You giggle at the name of her contact, remembering when she had changed the name one evening on the bus home from an away game. You hadn’t changed it back.
-
The day after you arrive back in Spain, Ana packs your bags and takes you out for the day. All secrets. That’s what she told you.
She drives down the main road and you wonder where you are going to, she only told you it was a trip. The beach? A night further down the coast line of Spain?
“The airport.” You look at her, half excited and half very confused.
“I’m taking you away for a trip to my home. For our anniversary.” She smiles, looking very incredibly pleased with herself.
“Switzerland?!” You gasp a little, having wanted to visit Ana’s home country for so long.
-
The plane ride dragged a little, having only been home for less than 24 hours.
You got through customs and collected your bags, deciding to get a coffee to help keep you awake.
“Here” You pass Ana her coffee, taking a sip of yours before screwing your face up. “Oh my god, that’s fucking rank.” You whisper, keeping your voice down with the language you chose to use.
Ana chuckled, taking your coffee and switching it with hers. “Have this one.”
“Thank you, bebita” You used the spanish pet name she loved so much.
You stared into her eyes a little too long and you were snapped out of it when two teen girls came rushing over.
“Hi! We are big Barcelona fans, could we get a picture?” The tallest girl asks.
“Your my favourite player!” The smaller girl tells you.
You take selfies with them and sign their phone case before they rush off back to wherever they appeared from.
-
Within minutes your phone was blowing up with mentions and tags on your social medias. Photos of you and Ana sharing coffee and looking at each other with loving eyes had been stuck on the internet. Typical.
Comments:
- OMG THEY’RE SO CUTE
- They are defo dating!!!!!
- Y/N is wearing Ana’s jacket!! Look 3 posts ago on her feed - it’s the same one!
- WHERE IS THIS? 😱😱
“Hmmm, they know.” Ana mumbles into your hair, her chin resting on the top of your head.
“We did well keeping it quiet for so long”
-
You trip in Switzerland was almost over, one day left before you had to fly back to Barcelona.
“I want to post something.” Ana breaks you out of your thought as you search through the suitcase to find your pyjamas.
“Post what?” You look at her, finding the shorts you were after and getting changed.
“Us.. for today, our anniversary. One year is a big deal Y/N”
You nod, looking at her. “If your okay with that then I’m cool with it too.” You smile.
Ana took her phone out and made an Instagram post with a caption:
One year with my favourite girl❤️‍🩹
In the post she attached a few photos and videos along with it.
1. A photo of you walking up ahead, climbing a mountain in Switzerland.
2. A video of you both dancing in the changing room after the champions league final. Ana had put her arms around you and forced you to dance in the middle of the locker room.
3. A photo of you both with the UWCL trophy on the pitch after the match.
4. A photo of you asleep in bed, a blanket covering you and a sleep mask with false lashes she had stuck on the top to make it look funny.
5. A video of Ana giving you a piggy back on the beach. Keira had taken this video on a double date with her and Lucy.
6. A photo of you in each others jerseys after the world cup match, Mariona and Lia stood at your sides too after they had switched as well.
7. A photo of you asleep on Ana as she tried to read a book, your head nestled into her neck.
8. A photo of you and Ana on the beach. You had your hands over your breasts, as you had stripped from you bikini top, and sunglasses on your head. Ana sat behind you and peering over your shoulder making a silly face.
9. A video of you dancing in the rain outside the stadium in Germany at your game against Bayern.
10. A picture of you both kissing in the club after the UWCL win.
You smiled as the tag came up on your Instagram feed, reposting the post onto your story with the video of you dancing in the rain.
Giggling as you wrote a cheesy caption with
‘Always dancing your around 😘’

Just an FYI  • Ana-Maria Crnogorčević
Tumblr media
Request:  can I please request jealous protective anamaria over R?
Word count: 3k
Going into the Champions league semi final you were quite surprised to see that Barca would be going up against Arsenal. Nonetheless, you were excited. Especially because of how the last games ended two years ago. You knew the reds have improved their team and game a lot since then, but that didn’t stop you from picturing all the goals your team would send soaring past Zinsberger.
You sat next to your usual bus buddy, Ana, on the way to the stadium and the two of you spent the bus ride laughing and sharing the snacks you were allowed to eat.
“How many goals do you think we’ll score?” she questions with the same cheeky smile on her face that you are wearing, the both of you more than ready for the match.
“I reckon 2, maybe 3.” you nod confidently, following your statement by your own question. “What would you predict for the end result?”
“3-0” she shrugs nonchalantly and you chuckle at her antics, leaning into her side more. Your cheeks are dusted with a light pink shade as Ana keeps an arm around you.
“Okay, 3-1 if we get unlucky.” You can only nod along to her words, knowing that the team is in its best form and a strong Arsenal won’t stop you from scoring.
Walking out into the tunnel already clad in your Barca jersey you take your place behind Jana. Your focus is solely on the pitch just outside the tunnel but you’re also aware of the stares of some players from the Arsenal line to your right.
You breathe in deeply to calm your nerves and then you slowly exhale. Ana senses your slight distress from behind you and without a second thought she slides her hand into yours, giving it a squeeze. It seems like her gesture has the desired effect because the pounding of your heart is becoming less intense and you feel more at ease. Your thumb rubs over her knuckles in appreciation and the Swiss international’s heart swells at it. Just as quickly as her hand slipped into yours, you let go of it though and Ana’s eyes snap down to your hand in confusion, only to then be nudged from behind and she realizes the team has started walking out.
The game is intense to say the least. It is apparent that even without Vivianne and Beth, Arsenal are more than capable of creating chances. Barca is doing good too and although the possession remains mostly in your team’s, Arsenal’s defense is proving to be hard to get through.
You’re experiencing it first hand because as soon as you're near the penalty box, a certain defender takes you out in some way or another. Every single time. More than half of these tackles have been borderline fouls which frustrates you and your team on no end. Irene and Ana can barely contain themselves enough to not spring into action and give the defender a bit of their own medicine.
The first time you were brutally side tackled, her boots catching a bit of your ankles, you thought you knew who it was. The flash of the red jersey and the aggression of the tackle is one you’ve experienced from an Arsenal defender before. However, when you catch sight of the name on her back, you’re beyond surprised to see it’s not McCabe who’s been trying to end your career.
“Bloody hell, what has gotten into her?!” you mutter under your breath as Ana helps you up and the referee finally blows her whistle. There’s a fire in Ana’s eyes as she glares at Catley, one that you recognize in every other Barca player’s eyes too. They’re all ready for revenge. It’s a well known fact about Barcelona, any Barca team. If they mess with one if you, they won’t come out alive.
“What? Ref that was nothing, it was the ball! The ball!” Steph shouts in fury, mimicking a ball with her hands.
“You might need glasses, honey.” Mapi retaliates and while Ingrid tries to stifle her laugh, Ana next to you doesn’t hold back. The referee interferes before it can go any further and hands the ball to Irene, telling her that the team is going to be awarded a free kick. Steph Catley’s expression falters slightly as she watches the ref write her name on the yellow card.
“You confident to take it?” she raises an eyebrow with a small smile, knowing just how much you enjoyed shooting from long distances.
As you stand behind the ball just halfway in between the halfway-line and the penalty area, your eyes rake over the players scattered around in front of the goal. Your gaze connects with Ingrid’s and all you need is the small nod she gives you before you’re sending the ball into another dimension with the force you kick it with. The Arsenal players expected you to line your shot up for a header but when the ball goes soaring above them and straight into the goal, they stare after it with wide eyes, their bodies still in a position that tells you they were ready to head the ball away. Dumbfounded, that’s what they were. All of them.
In an instant you’re surrounded by the team as you do a knee slide in celebration before getting into the group hug.
“I fucking told you they weren’t ready for you!” Ana shouts in your face as she touches her forehead to yours and you laugh at her words while your body heats up. Even as the team moves back into position, the winger stares after you with a prideful look.
Your happiness is short lived because barely fifteen minutes later and just before halftime, Frida manages to slot the ball into the goal, just out of reach for Panos.
Despite the equalizer, the girls' heads are held high as you head to the locker room, ready for the halftime speech Jonatan would be giving.
Ana-Maria’s hand subtly resting on your thigh grounds you enough to absorb everything the coach says like a dehydrated plant. Ana on the other hand, keeps most of her focus on you during those fifteen minutes and she doesn’t miss the pink tint of your cheeks as her thumb grazes your skin just below your shorts.
Truthfully, the two had been dancing around your feelings for each other since the start of the season. It started when the team was out for team bonding and you ended up dancing with a girl at the bar - far too intimately you had to admit. It resulted in endless teasing from your friends and a scowl on Ana’s face. You didn’t understand why she was upset, and for the first few days neither did Ana. But as the weeks went by and her urge to be closer to you only grew, she had come to the realization that she had strong feelings for you.
You shared these feelings, you’ve always found Ana attractive but you were scared to shoot your shot with the older woman, scared of the embarrassment you’d feel when you would be rejected. The blonde never made a move on you either, only giving small signs here and there that weren’t enough to give you a clear indication as to how she felt. She has only recently gotten as touchy as she was now, her hand rarely leaving you.
The second half of the game is a hard fought one. Frida and Stina are on the move any chance they get and Steph still hasn’t given up on trying to sprain your ankle. In spite of their clearly good advances on goal, your team has switched up their strategy as well. Zinsberger can’t catch a break in goal with each shot Caro and you send her way, and you’re proud to say that Sandra has stayed clean in your goal. The defenders are working extra hard to keep the ball away from the penalty box.
Just as the clock hits the 60’th minute mark, Ana sends a through ball that ends up in front of Aitana’s feet who continues the pass towards you. You know you have to make a quick decision before Catley comes pouncing on you. Pass or shoot. The ball is still in the air. Pass or shoot. The red of Steph’s shirt appears in your peripheral vision, you can’t let her close. Shoot.
With a jump, your back still facing the Arsenal goal, your foot connects with the ball in an overhead shot. On your descent towards the ground you merely manage to crane your neck and watch as Zinsberger attempts to punch it over the crossbar.
You aren’t given a second to react before a body lands on you, many following behind and you lay under the pile of blaugrana players with a satisfied grin on your lips.
“VAMOOSSS!!”
The switch flips after that and Barca take advantage of Arsenal’s momentary discouragement. Another shot fires into the back of the goal, courtesy to Caroline and you don’t even bat an eye at the way Steph barrels into you when the game is resumed because it is only five minutes after that when the full time whistle is blown. Barca is through to the final.
You ignore the Arsenal players around you and the crowd as you dance around in happiness with your teammates, celebrating the win.
“3-1 like I told you.” Ana winks at you and you roll your eyes at her.
“It’s not like I said it would be different.” she chuckles at you and then breaks out in a laugh when you gently shove her.
Once everything has calmed down a bit, you shake hands with the one red player you haven’t shaken hands with. You’re surprised when you’re pulled into a hug by the defender but you pat her back anyway. Steph pulls back from you though she keeps her hands on your biceps and looks you over with a smirk.
“You made my job extra hard today, you know.” she informs you as her thumbs rub into your bicep and you let out a nervous laugh.
“Yeah well I didn’t know the yellow card McCabe’s spirit would possess you.” The Australian throws her head back as she laughs and her hands slide lower on your arm before her fingers graze over yours.
You barely resist from pulling back from her touch, mildly uncomfortable in the situation you’ve found yourself in with the defender who’s been trying to separate your ankles from the rest of your legs.
“Do you want to swap shirts?” the heavy accent rings out close to your face and she doesn’t give you time to answer as she pulls the shirt over her head. You can’t refuse now though. Steph’s hands play with your Barca kit but she’s quick to put it on once you’ve handed it to her.
Steph’s eyes remain glued to your toned abdomen as she continues lightly praising the way you’ve played. Just as her fingertips are about to make contact with where she’s been staring, a hand slides across your torso.
You let out a breath you didn’t know you’ve been holding as you recognize the arm and your body relaxes into hers. Ana’s hand remains on the waistband of your shorts, clearly displaying not only her protectiveness but also rubbing it into the defender’s face when her fingers softly scratch the skin of your abdomen, soothing you more than possible.
Steph’s eyes finally part ways with your abs and her head snaps back up to your face. You almost laugh at the frightened look that washes over her expression.
“Everything okay here?” That's not a question, all three of you know that.
The Swiss international stares her down, a mix of emotions swirling in her eyes but Steph can tell none of them are good. The brunette clears her throat in discomfort, averting her eyes back to yours as she rushes out a goodbye.
“It was nice to meet you - well formally, you know, apart from the many tackles.” she huffs out a laugh but stops when Ana raises a daring eyebrow, urging her to finish.
“Erm, well thank you for the shirt and goodluck in the final” the Australian almost squeaks out and you decide to cut her some slack as you give her a quick hug. Still, the blonde’s hand remains on the small of your back and she gives Steph one last glare over your shoulder before the defender practically sprints back to her own team. Ana snorts at that and you lift your gaze to meet the older woman.
“Thank you” you tell her sincerely as you lean into her side and you discreetly press a small kiss to her shoulder. The winger’s face heats up right in front of you for the first time ever and she struggles to say anything for a second. A smile forms on your lips as you see her all flustered. You’d be lying if you said your knees weren’t close to giving out from the softness of her eyes and the seemingly star struck expression on her face.
“I’ll go catch up with Ingrid and Frida, okay? I will see you after” you give her arm a squeeze and Ana nods at you. She stares after you as you join your national teammates while you struggle to pull on the shirt and she chuckles under her breath when Ingrid gives you a helping hand.
“Du bist eifersüchtig” A voice speaks up next to her and Ana jumps slightly. Lia grins at her with a knowing look and Ana can’t stop herself from rolling her eyes.
“Nein.”
“Ja. Don’t think I didn’t see whatever that was just now. Oh and the hand holding before the game?” the Swiss women share a look and then Ana sighs in defeat as she finally pulls her national teammate into a hug. However, she is quick to redirect the topic as she instead opts to ask about how her friend has been doing since the last time they’ve seen each other.
A few minutes later both teams start heading inside and you hug Frida goodbye as you detach from your Norwegian group. You lean your head on Ana’s shoulder, who without your knowledge glances down at you with a fond smile.
“Hi Lia” you greet the Swiss Arsenal player and she hugs you.
“I also better get going. See you next time” she tells the two of you and then she gives Ana a teasing smirk who thinks she knows what her friend is about to say. “Sag ihr, dass du sie liebst!” the confusion on your face is one she expected but the blonde next to you had been totally caught off guard by what she said. But, a second later, she does give a small, shy nod.
“Come, let’s not make them wait.” you follow the blonde into the changing room and then onto the bus.
It doesn’t come as a surprise to you when by the time the bus leaves the car park, half the team is passed out and deep in sleep. The dark sky outside the window can only hint as to just how late it is. You’re sitting next to Ana in one of the last rows in the bus, like usual.
Unlike the rest of your friends though, the two of you are wide awake. You’ve always been known to be very energetic so you can’t even think of resting your eyes. Meanwhile, Ana-Maria next to you is deep in thought about what Lia had told her.
You linking your pinkies together is what breaks her out of her trance and she turns to you. The dimmed lights of the bus give you a halo and as the light from the street lamps shine through the window Ana recognizes the glimmer in your eyes.
“What’s got you lost?” you whisper, mindful of all the girls who are sleeping around you. The blonde’s eyes are dark with desire and the urge to tell you everything. She swallows hard as you patiently wait for her to say something.
“Look Y/N/N, I just really-” she stops mid sentence, wondering if it was the right thing to tell you. You reach out with one hand to cup her cheek gently, bringing her gaze to meet yours again.
“You really what?” Ana opens her mouth again and her eyelids flutter at the way her body heats up when your thumb strokes over her cheek. She has never felt so flustered around someone. She can feel your breath fanning against her face, only now noticing that she has subconsciously leaned closer to you. “Ana?”
“I really like you” she chokes out and she’s ready to panic but your soft touch calms her slightly. “Actually, maybe I'm in love with you. I don’t know if that’s a wrong thing, I get it if you don’t feel the same way. Just like, an FYI” she rambles in a hushed tone and you swear you’ve never seen her act so nervous.
The butterflies in your stomach are going crazy however and you’re overwhelmed with joy knowing that the Swiss woman feels the same way you do.
“Ana, I’m in love with you too” you tell her softly - although truthfully you thought it was obvious - and her eyes meet yours. The adoration in your gaze makes her blush deeper and you smile at her, your own face heating up at the close proximity as well as the confession.
“Just an FYI” the two of you giggle quietly and you press your face into her neck to muffle the sound. Ana lets you stay there for a second before she eases your head back and her eyes move to your lips. Your mouth falls open in anticipation and you gently squeeze her thigh.
“Can I?” Ana breathes out.
“You know you can” is all it takes for Ana to dive right in and claim your lips. You softly gasp into the kiss, your senses heightened and utterly in love with the way she kisses you so passionately, like she’s been waiting for decades. It’s only for a second that you pull away to take a breath and then you’re back in, lips molding together and moving against each other in a fervent yet loving way, uncaring of the people around you.
“I’ve wanted to do this for so long.” Ana whispers against your lips while your fingers tangle in her hair.
“I’ve wanted you to do this for so long.”

Mi musa. Ana-maria Crnogorcevic x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🚨SOLD OUT 24/09/23 y/n in concert at sala Razzmatazz, Barcelona 🚨
Y/N pov
I was super nervous because today would be my end of tour concert and I couldn't be more excited, I will finally spend more time with my girl. All these months that I've been dating Ana I've had a wonderful time, she is very sweet, very loving, very special to me. I've wanted to dedicate a couple of songs to her on my new album, but I don't want to arouse suspicions because our relationship is a bit low profile.
I invited Ana to the concert and she told me that her teammates love my music so I gave them a few tickets to the concert. Because with this sold out thing it's impossible, they even have a vip pass.
I was wandering in my thoughts when I get a message from Ana telling me that they are almost at the venue.
Ana from Albacete💘
Baby we are almost there
ME
Well gordi, if there's anything you can tell me ILSM ♥️
Ana from Albacete 💘
I love you❣️
Once the concert started the first thing I see is Ana with the whole Barça team? I can't believe it she has brought the whole team hahaha what a woman she is.
"Well Barna how are we?" I say euphoric in what would be my last concert. "Apparently we have some special guests here today" and I look at the Barça girls. They euphorically shout and whistle. "So, are we starting or not?" I say, teasing the audience. To which they shout "Yes" "Guapa" "Say it queen"....
A few songs later, the one I'm going to dedicate to Ana starts.
"Echaste a todos de la fiesta para quedarte sola conmigo en el salón"  I look at Ana knowing that she has understood the reference...
Flashback
"Ana my love, are your mates at home? I've already left the concert" I tell her in the middle of the call, to which she answers me: "I've already told them to leave so you can come and stay with me until further notice" she tells me seriously but at the same time sweetly. "Well my life, see you now".
End of flashback
I see that she turns red and I keep on singing... "Y si pudiera cambiar todo lo que he vivido a tu lado por millones en el banco y un coche descapotao, no" her teammates look at her funny because I'm singing the song straight to her...
"En la parte de atrás de un Mini o en playas de Santorini" this part makes her go crazy with the redness of her cheeks...
Flashback
"Anaaaaaaaaa, the car won't start" I say a bit worried from a slope in Santorini... "Y/n I don't have a signal to call the mechanic, you?" she says relaxed. She laughs a bit at me and puts on the radio.... "Ana for God's sake" I say worried. "Oh love, so little is so little, I have an idea to distract you" she says seductively.... "Oh yes, what idea does that little head of yours have?" I lean into his side a little. "First of all, we have to move to the back because my legs don't fit in this passenger seat" once we are both seated in the back I tell her "Lady I tell you once and for all that no funny business back here eh" she looks at me indignant and says: "I just wanted to give you some kisses and do karaoke" I look at her inquisitively: "well I accept your kisses but we must see how we leave" I lean to give her some kisses first in her forehead, then in her nose and then in her lips...
End of flashback
Ana's pov
This concert is special because it's the end of Y/N's tour and as she has given me the go ahead to invite the girls from the team I don't know what she has planned but whatever it is I know it's going to be great. And well who am I kidding, it's y/n everything does well....
During the course of the concert I notice that a song is playing that I haven't heard before, and that's when y/N looks at me and I can intuit that she's dedicating it to me. My teammates look at me a bit out of place because they don't know what's going on and I prefer not to say anything...
"In the back of a mini or on the beaches of Santorini" I couldn't believe that y/n had put that in a song, a phrase that seems innocent but not. "Hey Ana, didn't you have some problems on your last trip to Santorini?" Keira says to me.... "Yes" I say nervously. "AHH, it's just a coincidence that y/n made that reference and sang it to you" says Lucy connecting the dots. "What a weird thing to say, maybe she rents the car from the same place I do" I say to Lucy calmly.... "Mmm well, if you say so" says Alexia suspiciously.
Y/N's pov
"And well Barna, let's go with the last song of the night, a song that is inspired by my midnight muse," I say more calmly.... "With you 'arrullo de estrellas' " and I start playing the piano.
"Es que no hay nadie como tú, que me haga sentir así, en un arrullo de estrellas, te lo digo desde el alma, y con el corazón abierto" I raise my gaze and focus it on Ana... I see her very excited and it makes me get a little emotional. I let a couple of tears fall...
"Eres mi amor amor eterno
Mi ángel de la guarda
Te lo digo desde el alma
María llena eres de gracia "
Now it was clear who I was going to sing for.
The concert is over and I go backstage and in a matter of minutes the Barça girls and Ana clearly arrive. "Hola y/n" says Ana coming up to me and hugging me, "Hola mi amor" I greet her and give her a little kiss on her "cheek" very close to her lips. "I can't believe this is the end of the tour, wonderful, I loved it" Alexia says to me and the others nod. "Apparently you liked the concert" I say amused. "You're the best" Ana says to me in a low voice. "So, what are the plans after this" asks Irene (she already knows about us so it's a closer question) "to rest and keep composing" "I also want to take some time for myself, for my family, my girl and to travel a little bit" I say calmer after today's roller coaster of emotions. "Very good" says Irene with her stoic calm. "I hope to see you more often at the Johan. Tell Ana to give you some tickets and drop by" says Alexia. "Mmm ok?" I say quizzically. "It's obvious that you go out with Ana, I've noticed the whole concert how you look at her and not to mention the reference to Santorini, Ana has told us about that and it can't be a coincidence" says Alexia amused. "Well I'm not hahaha" I say and give Ana a kiss before I go to change for the after party.

Wild Ride
Cupra, one of Fc Barcelona's sponsors, announced an event where they would present their new line of cars. One of the cars was the brand new Cupra Racing car for their racing season. For the event a couple of Fc Barcelona players were invited, one of which was the recent Ballon d'or winner Alexia Putellas.
Tumblr media
The players approached the track with a couple of cameras, reporters and Fc Barcelona representatives. When Y/N took the car out of the garage and got out, Alexia's admiration was pretty loud "Oh wow", Y/N laughed "Yup she is a beauty huh" replied the driver as they looked at the car. Alexia agreed as she got within earshot of the driver and whispered under her breath so only Y/N would hear "I meant the driver", she walked around the car admiring it.
The cameras started rolling, each player got to ride shotgun on the band new Cupra racing car, piloted by their best driver Y/N. When it got to Alexia's turn, she had already admired the pilots driving, but now, she was about to experience it for real.
"You ready?" asked Y/N smiling at the Fc Barcelona midfielder "I think so" she replied. The driver started laughing as they had picked up on Alexias nervousness "It's way more fun to experience it than to watch it" they added "Trust me".
The driver pushed hard on Alexia's lap, almost beating their personal time at the track, the Racing Team Director let their star driver know "You are 2 tenths off from your record time" to which Y/N could only cheer on radio "Whoooooo".
Alexia's smile was from ear to ear, the midfielder was clearly enjoying a media day for the first time in a while.
As they got to the pit, the driver made an unexpected question "Wanna take it out for a lap yourself?" asked Y/N as they turned the car off. Alexia smiled with joy "Wait, can I?" she asked giddy with excitement "I don't see why not" replied the driver as they got out of the car to switch seats.
Before the Racing Team Director could react, the car was back on track, so he radioed in "What are you doing?" he asked to which his star driver happily replied "Having some fun boss".
Y/N wasn't only the star driver, they were the heart of the garage, the little kid of the racing team, so when the Racing Team Director heard the excitement in Y/N's voice, he couldn't do anything other than admire the car out on track.
Y/N kept giving Alexia instructions on her first lap, letting the midfielder get comfortable with the breaking zones "Ok, in the next lap push harder" said the driver. Alexia, who wasn't familiar with the lingo asked "What do you mean push?" making Y/N laugh as they realized they were speaking gibberish to the midfielder "Just close your corners off more aggressively and get your foot on the gas sooner" replied the driver as they laughed.
Once they completed 3 laps, they came back to the pit. Alexia and Y/N got out of the car and the driver made their way to the midfielder holding their hands up for a high five "Great job" said Y/N "That was some good driving" added the driver as they took their helmet off. Alexia, still with a smile on her face, replied "That was fun, thank you".
Y/N was called away by some mechanics to discuss some data they had gathered from their final laps, but before Y/N got away from Alexia's earshot, the driver replied "Glad I could get into some trouble with you"
The cameras soon got back to rolling as they asked Alexia and the players about their experience in the Cupra racing car. Alexia, who had been the only player to drive it, gave further insight to it's performance "It was really fun, that car sure packs a punch" she laughed.
The event kept going over at the Headquarters, as Cupra was announcing three brand new cars for the public. During the night the Fc Barcelona midfielder kept looking for Y/N in the crowd, not being successful in her search, she settled for some food with her fellow teammates.
Aitana, who saw her captain look around the room, asked "You ok?" as she grabbed Alexia's hand "What are you looking for". The Fc Barcelona captain replied "Not a what, a who" as she did yet another scan of the room "Remember the driver from before?" she asked. Crnogorcevic had picked up on the chatter and decided to chime in "I heard they're coming in a bit"
As the drivers joined, camera flashes and reporters scrambled to the back entrance of the event. "That should be them" Crnogorcevic pointed out "Wanna welcome them to the party?" the forward asked sarcastically
"I'm pretty sure they are the stars from this event Ana" laughed Alexia.
Not long passed until Y/N made their way to the buffet, dodging reporters along the way. "Finally" declared the driver as they started to fill their plate. Alexia who was nearby laughed "You found the food huh" she joked "Oh hi" mumbled Y/N with food in their mouth as they got their hand up to ask for a bit of time.
"Having fun?" the driver asked "It was better behind the wheel" replied the midfielder. Y/N got a sparkle in their eyes, it seemed like the driver had found somebody that equally disliked media days. "Come with me" said Y/N as they grabbed their plate and a bottle of champagne.
The driver leaded Alexia to the rooftop "Here" said the driver "Sit down" Y/N pointed to the ledge of the building. "Oh wow" mumbled Alexia "It's beautiful from up here" declared the midfielder. Y/N added "And quiet" to which both laughed "You don't like media days huh" stated Alexia. "I do, kind of" replied the driver "I dislike all the cameras" Y/N added.
Alexia who was confused by the answer "Wait, so you're ok with driving a car dangerously fast with thousands of people watching but a few cameras scare you" she laughed, Y/N nodded "Yup, I guess so".
"You do realise that you are the star of the show here right?" asked Alexia genuinely interested at the possible answer, "Ever felt like it was a one man show when you play football?" asked Y/N back. Alexia went along with the conversation "No, not really. It's a t-" she replied as Y/N finished the midfielders sentence "a team effort" to which they both laughed. "That's what gets me, the team puts so much effort in creating my car and I get all the credit" Y/N sighed
"So, you got into trouble?" asked the footballer innocently "Oh that" laughed Y/N as they replied "You weren't really allowed to drive the car". Alexia was stunned "Wai- Wait really?" she asked "I thought you were joking with the whole get into trouble thing" she added with a concerned tone.
Y/N laughed "It's all good" replied the driver "I'm the favourite child" they added as Y/N leaned closer to the Fc Barcelona captain, looking for her lips, "It sure was a wild ride" said Alexia as their lips separated from the drivers kiss "We should do it more often" added the midfielder as she pulled Y/N closer for another kiss.

The Green Eyed Monster (Ana Maria Crnogorcevic x reader)
Tumblr media
Warnings: no smut but it gets a little spicy
Description: while on an end of season trip with a few teammates Ana gets jealous of readers close friendship with her fellow Spaniards
Notes: I’m currently working on quite a few requests, a few of which I want to wait for certain game results before finishing them properly, but to the anons who requested them, they are coming don’t worry.
Word count: 2156
Ana awoke to sun pouring in through the open balcony door of your shared room in the Ibizan villa you had all rented for a week.
The first thing she notices as she sits up, is that you’re no longer in bed with her, the second is her own reflection in the large wall mirror at the end of the bed, and the third is the truly atrocious number of marks that littered her collarbones, and upon further inspection, her abdomen and inner thighs also. This wasn’t going to be easy to hide from the other girls. She smiled to herself as she remembered the previous night, and again was reminded about the sheer amount of energy you always seemed to have, how did you just never get tired? Even now you had likely been up for at least an hour already, if the cool temperature of the sheets on your side of the bed was anything to go by.
She’s pulled from her thoughts as she hears the loud voices of her friends and teammates outside by the pool. She throws on a bikini, unsure if it was yours or hers at this point, and decides to head downstairs to find out what all the commotion’s about.
She makes it downstairs and to the large open double doors that lead out to the pool area just in time to see you get pushed into the pool by Leila. You were wearing shorts and a sports bra, so if she had to guess she’d say you had probably just got back from a run, adding to her point about you having far too much energy all the time. Within seconds you’re climbing back out of the pool, throwing yourself at Leila.
Ana watches from the doorway as you pick up the brunette, who instantly complains that you’re sweaty, despite you having just taken an involuntary bath. You tell her you have a great way to solve the problem before throwing yourself, with your best friend still wrapped in your arms, back into the pool. The two of you surface, and fall easily into a light hearted water fight, splashing and climbing onto each others backs in attempts to dunk each other under the water. It’s at this point that Ana feels a burning pit if jealousy slowly start to build in her chest. She knows it’s ridiculous, she knows you and Leila are just best friends, extremely close best friends who openly admit to being each others first kiss.
You had known Leila your whole life, having grown up in the same town, you played football together, did everything together, so it only made sense that you were each others first kiss, or that’s what your 13 year old selves had decided at least. It had never gone any further than that between the two of you, as you had realised that it was just a little too weird, you considered each other sisters and nothing more. Ana knew this also, but that didn’t stop the pit from growing, she had no control over it, as much as she hated the fact.
She sighs to herself, partially out of jealousy and partially out of annoyance at herself for being jealous, and makes her way over to an unoccupied sun lounger. She places her sun glasses on her face and continues to glare through them as she watches Leila’s hands roam over your sides as she tickles you, all the while thinking to herself that she should be the only one touching you in places like that. She could almost roll her eyes at herself for the way she was thinking. You’d think with the years she’d spent around you and your Spanish friends she’d be used to how overly affectionate and touchy you all were with each other, but no, apparently not.
In an attempt to squash the green eyed monster that was growing inside of her, Ana throws her head back, forcing herself to look away from where you and Leila remained messing around in the pool. Though the thought that you had yet to notice her emerging from the house only fuelled her jealous thoughts.
Only a few minutes pass before she feels a shadow standing over her, blocking the sun from hitting her body.
“Hola sexy lady”, you say, your Spanish accent thick on the English words you had chosen to use. Ana stares up at you blankly before deciding that she’s mad at you, and instead chooses not to respond, placing her sunglasses back on her eyes and closing them.
You sit down on the sun bed next to her, placing a hand on her stomach and tracing around the pattern of marks you had left there the night before. You smirk to yourself as you remember the night, and lean down, pressing a soft trail of kisses up your girlfriends neck from her collarbone, ending just below her left ear.
“Buenos días, mi amor”, you whisper in her ear, your hand flattening out and gently running over her toned stomach muscles before coming to rest just below her right breast. With your other hand you pull her sunglasses off of her face in order to see her eyes. You smile at her as you make eye contact and lean back in, this time to place a kiss on her lips. You’re centimetres away when she places her hand on your chest, stopping you in your tracks.
“What?”, you ask her when she doesn’t say anything. She again doesn’t give you an answer, but retrieves her sunglasses from your hand and places them back in her face.
You stare at her, a little dumbfounded as to why she would deny you a good morning kiss, especially after everything you had given her last night. When you fail to move away from where you sat, leaning over her slightly with one arm still using her body as a brace, she opens her eyes once more to see the puzzled look on your face. Rolling her eyes, she sits up, causing you to remove your hand and shift out of her way. She then places her hands on your shoulders, pushing slightly and guiding you away from her sun lounger so you were now standing.
As she lay back down, pulling her sunglasses back over her eyes, you continue to stare at her, the puzzled look never once leaving your face. Your mind races as it tries to think of something you might have done to make her upset at you. Was she mad that you’d left her alone in bed that morning? Or that you’d gone for a run by yourself? Was she mad that you didn’t invite her? Or just that you hadn’t woken her up to say bye? You needed to know, so you pulled the last spare lounger so it was right next the hers and sat on the edge of it facing her.
“Nena?”, you tried to get her attention, but still she remained ignoring you, “what did I do?”, you questioned her aloud. You tentatively reach out and place a hand on hers that lay resting by her side, “bebé, por favor, please tell me why you are angry”, you pleaded.
The sadness in your voice and the tentativeness with which you placed your hand on hers instantly made her feel terrible. It wasn’t necessarily that she was mad at you, she wasn’t really. It was more that she was mad at herself, and annoyed that had felt jealous about you and your best friend having fun together. She knew it was stupid and she would never want you to change the way you were with your friends, your fun loving nature was one of her favourite things about you.
She sat up quickly, pulling her hand from yours and moving so she sat similarly to you on her own sun lounger. Her sudden movement shocked you and you quickly pulled your hand away thinking you’d upset her even more. Ana places her head in her hands, her elbows resting in her knees.
“Nothing, you did nothing”, she grumbled out, mad at herself for even acting this way in the first place.
“Okay…”, you trailed off slowly, waiting for her to explain further. You were still dripping wet, but you ignored as water dripped down from you hair and shorts onto the ground around you.
“It’s stupid, I’m sorry”, Ana now apologised to you, before lifting her head out of her hands. Before you could respond she had placed her hands on either side of your face and pulled you into a searing kiss, from which you reluctantly pulled away.
“It’s not stupid cariño”, you tell her, placing your hand on her knee, hers where still holding you close, and she pulled you in for another kiss before letting go and leaning back, using her hands to prop herself up.
“It is”, she insisted, “and you’ll laugh when I tell you”.
Your puzzled frown from before returned to your face as you pondered what she could possibly be about to tell you.
As she’s about to start explaining however, she’s interrupted as Leila walks over, handing you a freshly made iced coffee, as you had agreed would be her apology for pushing you into the pool. She’s wearing only her bikini bottoms, which isn’t abnormal in the slightest, but still makes Ana roll her eyes, the green eyed monster was still lurking, not quite stamped out yet.
You catch the eye roll slightly and begin to catch on to what might be happening here, and you could now see why your girlfriend had said it was stupid.
“Ana”, Leila started, “sorry I didn’t ask, do you want coffee?”, she asked the Swiss girl.
“No, thanks”, Ana’s reply was short and clipped, she hadn’t meant for it to come out that way but it had anyway. Thankfully Leila didn’t seem to catch on and instead replied with a jolly “okay”, and headed back over to her own sun lounger. You however had definitely caught Ana’s tone, which had confirmed your theory on why she had been mad at you.
The blonde looks back at you after watching as Leila walked away, waiting for her to get out of hearing range before she continued, but instead is met by your smirking face and she knows straight away that you have her figured out.
“You’re jealous”, you state. It’s not a question, you know your girlfriend well enough to know when she was jealous, it had just taken a second to work out why, but now it all made sense. She wasn’t mad at you, she was mad at herself for feeling the way she did.
“I’m-“, she starts trying to deny it, but instantly gives up as she knows you know her too well, “I told you it was stupid”.
“You’re right, it is stupid”, you tell her, your smirk still evident on your face, “you know you don’t have to be jealous”.
“I know I know”, she says, throwing her hands in the air, “that’s why it’s stupid”.
“I only want you”, you tell her, as you always did, “you’re the only one I let touch me like you did last night”, you say, your voice low as you pull her closer to you, “you’re the only one I want to taste”, she shivers as you whisper in her ear, lips brushing agains it before you place a kiss just behind it, a spot you knew she liked. She shivered again.
You pull away far enough to see her eyes have gone dark, and you know she’s completely forgotten about her misplaced jealousy. You stand, holding a hand out to her.
“I need to shower”, you announce, because even after your quick dip in the pool, you felt you needed to properly wash off the grime you’d acquired from your morning run, “care to join me?”, you asked as you pulled your girlfriend to her feet, “I feel like I need to prove to you once more just how much I love you”, you again whispered in her ear as you pulled her into you, walking slowly backwards towards the doorway to the villa.
“Only once?”, Ana asks with a smirk of her own as she now starts pushing you backwards, her hands holding your hips as she guides you towards the stairs and up to your en suite bathroom.
“Maybe more than once, if you’re lucky”, you tell her before pulling your sports bra over your head and quickly ridding yourself of your shorts and underwear. Ana is quick to follow you into the shower where she instantly pushes you against the wall and turns the water on.
“I think it’s your turn first actually”, she states, the glint in her eye informing you that you were about to find out exactly how jealous she had been earlier.

Everything Has Changed

Love You More (Part Two)
[WOSO Masterlist]
Finishing your fourth ice cube, you look at the clock again. It’s the fifth time you’ve looked at it in the past couple minutes, impatiently awaiting the return of your wife.
Lia had all but dragged Ana out after practice, saying something about how she needed the blonde to go shopping with her for some new furniture in her apartment. So pouting and feigning annoyance, you returned home alone.
While you were slightly peeved at Lia for depriving you of some quality time with your wife, there’s a part of you that appreciated it all the same. It left you plenty of time to finally wrap up the gift that you had been waiting to give Ana.
It’s been sitting in a spare duffle of yours, tucked between a couple old shirts and stolen hoodies. You bought it earlier in the week, immediately after you went to the doctor’s office to confirm the result of your at home test.
It isn’t until you’re nearly all the way done with your next ice cube that you hear some muffled words through the door. Like a puppy to a bone, you perk up at the sound of keys in the lock.
This is something you don’t think you’ll ever get used to. Up until last year, you and Ana have never played for the same club team. Lia’s the one who introduced the two of you to each other all those years ago. Having taken a quick liking to the Swiss when she first joined Arsenal, Lia took it upon herself to be your wingwoman until it became apparent that the blonde was the one for you. Countless blind dates set up by the brunette all seemed for naught when you vacationed with Lia and a couple of mutual football friends and instantly hit it off with Ana. Dating was superseded by an engagement, and a wedding came not long after.
So yes, most of your relationship was spent balancing long distance, but after her contract in Spain ended, Ana decided to come to Arsenal to be with you. You had already decided a while back that you’d play out your last couple years in England at a club that’s become so dear to you, and Ana took it as a win to go play for a club where her wife and best friend both played at.
So now you get to wake up to the love of your life, pull faces at each other as you scramble to make it out the door to trainings on time, dance around the kitchen as you try to make dinner (which will inevitably result in Ana stepping in when you burn it), and bask in all that domestic bliss the two of you missed out on in those early years of your relationship.
“Honey, I’m home!” Ana shouts, a goofy grin on her face as she rounds the corner to the living room.
You have a similar smile on your face, tilting your head up to receive the kiss Ana presses to your lips in greeting. Letting out a relieved sigh, Ana all but collapses onto the seat next to you. Chuckling, you give her head a couple scratches as she launches into a rant about Lia’s indecisiveness.
“After my fourth sigh Lia nearly shoved me over and said all I wanted to do was go home and cuddle with you, which of course was what I wanted to do, but I couldn't let Lia of all people be correct, you know? So I had to walk a couple more laps with her around the store until she decided she didn’t want anything from that place.”
“Number one best friend right here,” you chuckle, expertly slapping away Ana’s hands as she tries to tickle you for your jest. “Hey, hey! I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
Huffing, she rolls her eyes good heartedly at you. Though the pout on her face becomes real when you move to get out of her arms. “Where are you going?” she whines, hands scrambling to pull you back into her side.
“Calm down, Ana. I’m coming right back,” you shout over your shoulder, quickly running to the closet to grab your gift. It takes some digging, but eventually you find it.
With a skip in your step, you return to a sullen looking wife. Ana perks up at your return, hands instantly making a grabby motion towards you.
“To reward your patience, I got you a gift.”
Ana blinks in surprise, mouth dropping open into an ‘o’ at the sight of the wrapped box in your hands. “A gift? For me?”
You laugh at her dumbfounded look. “Yes, I’ve got a present for you,” you repeat.
Eyebrows scrunching up, you can almost see the gears turning in Ana’s head. “I didn’t forget anything did I?”
Laughing, you press a kiss against your wife’s head. “No, babe, you didn’t. I just wanted to spoil you today.”
Settling into her side, you watch as Ana begins her careful work of unfolding your gift. Unlike you, Ana treats all wrapping paper with care. You’re the opposite, much more likely to tear and rip at anything placed in your hands. Now the impatient one, you start tapping your foot on the ground. You really hope Ana’s going to like your gift, but when it comes down to it, you can’t really predict the way she’s going to react.
Finally finished unfolding, Ana pulls out a tiny jersey, eyebrows furrowing as she takes in the Arsenal logo on the front. You can tell she’s still confused as she flips it over to see the name on the back.
There are so many letters there that the font is smaller than it normally is, the letters still nearly curling their way to the front. The two of you had hyphenated your last names after marriage, but professionally you still wore your own. When given the choice between which jersey to get, it wasn’t really a competition.
Wracking her mind, Ana tries to think why you got her this shirt. The last shirt you got your cat led to hours of glaring and hissing, even after you took it off her and gave her cuddles, so Ana knew it wasn’t for her. And the dog you shared was definitely too big to fit into something this size.
It’s at this moment Ana realizes the shape of the jersey. Or more specifically the way the ends meet together with a click, giving way to two tiny leg holes.
“Is this…” Ana trails off, fingers absentmindedly tracing her last name as she tries to calm her racing mind.
“I wanted to get one of my jerseys for the baby but for right now I’m more than happy to give them a jersey of the best player I know.”
Ana whips her head around, eyes darting between your face and your stomach. It’s obvious she doesn’t really know where to look, eyes a little wild. “Baby? Are you… is it… did it work?”
Swallowing the lump in your throat, you nod. “I’m pregnant.”
It’s silent for a minute as Ana takes in your words. Her eyes have started watering, bottom lip quivering with the beginning of a sob.
This is something the two of you have been waiting for for years. Of course your careers are important to you, but you both agreed that a successful career meant nothing without a family to share it with. After an injury took you out for the majority of last season, the two of you decided there was no time like the present and began looking into IVF treatments. However, despite all of your hardwork and prayers, nothing took.
The two of you had just begun discussing alternative methods for expanding your family when you took your last pregnancy test.
And it was positive.
Ana’s still trying hard not to cry when she cups your face, pressing her forehead against yours. “You’re pregnant?”
Nodding, you gently grasp Ana’s hands before directing them onto your abdomen. It’s this action that causes the dam to break, and Ana begins sobbing, quickly pressing her face into the side of your neck to muffle her cries.
Soothingly rubbing your hands up and down her back, you whisper how much you love her and how amazing of a mom she’ll be. It takes a couple minutes before her cries die down, the blonde overwhelmed by the news of your expanding family. Eventually she pulls her head up, allowing you to wipe the tears from her face.
“We’re having a baby,” she wetly laughs, pressing a kiss to your fingertips when they brush past.
Grinning, you murmur those words back. Ana lets her eyes drop back down to her hands, to where they are still pressed against your stomach. Her eyes are full of wonder and love as she takes in all in.
The two of you are having a baby.
You’re going to be parents.
“I love you,” she whispers, voice full of emotion as she presses a kiss to your lips. Giving your hand a light squeeze, Ana leans down, lifting your shirt so she can press a light kiss against your bare abdomen. “And I love you too, my little dove. Your mama and I can’t wait to meet you.”
You don’t think anything can beat this moment--
(You didn’t think anything could beat your first date.
Or your first anniversary.
Or your second.
Or Ana asking you to marry her.
Or your wedding.
Or Ana moving to London to be with you.)
--at least until you see your precious daughter staring up at you with wide eyes, dressed in her little Crnogorčević jersey.

I’ll protect you (Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic x reader)
Tumblr media
Based off this request.
Have you ever met someone who you instantly have a connection with? Where it's like you knew each other in a past life and your first meeting is actual a reunion? That is the way you would describe the day you met Ana.
Now almost three years later the two are you are inseparable although neither one of you have confessed that you want your relationship to be more than platonic.
One of the things you loved about Ana was her commitment to the team and the Catalonian people. It came as a shock when she picked up Spanish as quickly as she did but it could be argued that it wasn't the student that was good, it was you the teacher.
Her passion carried over when Barcelona played Real Madrid, the legendary El Classico.
"Someone's excited" you spot Ana in her locker, her knee bouncing up and down.
"And you're not? I know you love this match just as much as me, if not more" Ana helps you tape your wrists, it was your first of many pre match rituals.
"I know that with Jenni gone and Alexia on the sidelines I am going to be their number one target"
In every El Classico so far, Real Madrid were predictable. They made it known very early on in the game who they wanted to take out. You enjoyed it and you loved any chance to tease your Madrid counterparts although they didn't find it fun getting beat time and time again.
"I'll protect you" Ana is deadly serious when she makes her promise to you.
"I can look out for myself. Focus on getting the ball in the back of the net"
History is sure to repeat itself as Barcelona find themselves 2-0 up just before half time. Madrid start to get desperate but it was to be expected and you warned the girls of this. Esther was no longer hiding her intention to hurt you and after the third of fourth tackle she got a yellow card. At this point you thought she would back off in fear of getting a second and then a red only this doesn't happen.
The half time whistle blows and instead of going into the locker room, you go straight for the woman that has been on your back the entire game.
"Keep going Esther. You know I have my limits and you are dangerously close" you body check her before walking away.
"I barely touched you. You just don't know how to play football without your friends. The whole world knows that you're struggling to play without Alexia and it is only a matter of time before they see that you're not worth the credit you get" Esther spits.
"Shut up or the next thing to come out of your mouth with be your teeth" Ana's presence startles you.
Esther continues rambling as she walks through the tunnel, her voice becoming quieter with every step she takes.
"She's right" you admit as you sink into your locker.
"No, she isn't and you'll prove her wrong when you go back out there and show the world just how good Y/N Y/L/N is"
Ana always has faith in you even when you didn't. Over the past few months you have doubted yourself more than ever but she was always there to remind you who you are.
In the second half you played with a new purpose, to show Esther who Spain's best forward was. With your confidence level at an all time high it led to Esther making more tackles than she did in the first half and every one she made got worse and worse.
Whilst you remain level headed you knew Ana was get close to blowing up. She liked to protect you whether that was in a nightclub when a stranger refused to take no for answer or like today when you're get getting hurt and nothing is being done about it.
The final nails on the Real Madrid coffin come in the form of two more goals, both coming from you. After the second one you saw the opportunity to taunt Esther and get in her head so after you finished celebrating with your team you look directly at her and do her signature celebration. You knew that it would anger her more but you no longer cared. There was only 7 minutes left on the clock, you could handle it.
Barcelona receive a corner which doesn't go to plan. Instead of football it becomes a game of ping pong, the ball going from head to head. You see it coming your way and you jump to head in the direction of the goal but at the last minute you see Esther coming towards with her foot high. Already in the air, you close your eyes and wait for her foot to hit your head only it doesn't, instead you feel her studs connect with your sternum.
The breath is knocked out of you, a mixture of the impact and the force in which you hit the floor.
"Y/N" Aitana tries to get your attention but your eyes remain shut as you try to focus on your breathing.
Something else that sticks out is the headache that comes thick and fast, you know you must have hit it on the floor when you fell. Your surroundings are a blur but you recognise the sound of the medics asking you question.
"I-can't-breathe" you say through laboured breaths.
"Try to stay still" one of them tells you.
"Ana" you use all your energy to call out for the one woman you want by your side.
"I'm here Y/N. Everything's going to be ok" Ana takes a hold of your hand. When she sees you close you eyes she squeezes you hand tightly so that you know she is there even if you can't see her.
Ana has never felt more helpless in her life. The medics cut open your shirt so they can asses the damage, it's something she wasn't ready to see. There in the middle of your chest was a boot print, some marking had even opened up and blood was trickling down your chest. You wince when you feel someone brush over the point of impact.
You swat the hand away immediately.
"Y/N let them do there job, please" you turn your attention to Ana. Her face is pale and you see a single tear roll down her cheek.
The medics lift you onto the stretcher, Ana remaining by your side the entire time. That is until she hears Esther speak ill of you, yet again, only this time she does something about it.
"At least now she gets to watch in the stands with dear La Reina" Esther jokes with her teammates only no one is laughing. Their faces drop when they see the Swiss international approaching them at speed.
"You're so insecure of your own abilities that you purposely try to hurt Y/N. You are a discrace and don't deserve to play football" Ana shoves Esther, sending her to the floor but she is soon back to her feet.
"Mierda!" Patri says as she runs after her team mate, others follow in suit.
Patri and Irene try their hardest to pull Ana away but nothing they do works.
"Come on" Patri begs.
"Don't let her get to you" Irene adds.
They both grab hold of her but she shrugs them off, clearly she wasn't done with the Madrid forward.
"You better hope she is ok or the next time we meet i'll--" Ana threatens only to be cut off.
"You'll do what?" Esther pushes Ana again.
This time Ana shoves her a lot harder than the first time and Esther hits the floor hard.
"You don't want to find out"
"Ana, walk away" Marta, who has been called over for extra help says "They are taking her to the hospital. Jona has got Mariona ready to sub in for you but if don't leave now you won't be able to go with Y/N"
This seems to work because Ana runs off the pitch without saying another word. She ignores the ref but thanks her coach when she gets to the side lines.
Later than night you are discharged from the hospital. After getting several scans you are told that you have a minor concussion due to the fall and a broken sternum thanks to Esther.
Ana accompanies you back to your apartment and insists on staying the night despite you telling her numerous times that you are fine. After all the doctors gave you some strong painkillers which reduced the pain significantly although you were warned that you would be very sore in the morning.
She helps you get changed, turning around when you are indecent even though she has seen you topless number of times.
Once in bed Ana helps you get comfy before leaving.
"I thought you said you were staying the night" even though you are adamant you don't need help you were still looking forward to the sleepover with your best friend.
"I'll be in the living room. You need to get some rest" Ana leans against the door frame.
When she sees you pouting she shakes her head ever so slightly. You pull back the corner of the duvet on the empty side of the bed and pat it a couple of times.
"Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic please come to bed"
Ana loved the way you said her name. The way you pronounced every syllable and how your spanish accent meant you rolled the r's. It made saying no to you incredibly difficult and you were fully aware of this, it's why you did it.
The two of you gets settled and Ana picks out a movie, one that she is sure you've never seen before. You may be focused on the TV but whenever you look over to your best friend you find her staring at your chest.
"Stop looking at my boobs"
"I -- I wasn't looking at them -- I mean I was but I wasn't -- I was looking at--" Ana face rivals the colour of a beetroot at your accusation.
"Looking at this" you pull the front of your tank top down revealing all of the marks left by Esther's boot.
"I told you I would protect you" Ana refuses to look you in your eyes as she thinks about how she failed you.
"There's nothing you could have done and from what i've heard you defended my honour afterwards" you could tell that Ana felt bad about you getting hurt and whilst you don't mind being the damsel in distress if she is the one saving you, you knew that this was just one of those times where nothing or no one could stop Esther from her attack.
"It's my fault"
"Really Ana?" You were staring to get annoyed. Ana was making is obvious that she wanted to punish herself but you really didn't want to spend the night talking about what happened.
"Don't look at me like that" Ana senses your annoyance "I provoked her at half time and since then her tackles got worse. She knew that by going after you she would be hurting me"
"This isn't about you"
"No it's not. It's abut you Y/N. Do you know how scared I was? I told you I would protect you and I failed you. I couldn't protect the woman I" Ana stops herself before she says something she cannot take back.
Your eyes widen when you realise what she was about to say. Is this really what it took for you both to admit your feelings. Was you getting put in the hospital your version of an airport confessions from the movies.
"Finish your sentence" you tell her. The expression on your face is serious. No part of you wants her to think you are making fun of her.
"I can't"
"Please"
Then it hits her. You know what you was about to say and you want her to say it anyway.
Ana tucks a stray hair behind your ear, her palm rests on your cheek and you melt into her touch. She looks you in the eye then at your lips, you didn't pull away from her touch yet she was still hesitating.
"Fuck it" you lean forward, ignoring the pain that rises to your chest at the sudden move and kiss your best friend.
It is Ana who deepens this kiss but you have to push her away.
"Ow, ow, ow" you lay back down as you try to get your breathe.
"Sorry. That's my fault, I shouldn't have -"" Ana begins to apologise only for you to cut her off.
"I swear to god Ana if you blame yourself once more I am kicking you out"
Ana hold her hands up in surrender. In this moment she would do anything to stay with you.
"Come here" Ana extends her arms so you can lay against her side" Carefully" you warns when she hears you wince.
The two of you go back to watching the film only for Ana to pause it after 20 minutes.
"The woman I love. I love you Y/N" Ana finishes her sentence.
You turn slightly so that you can face her.
"I love you Ana-Maria" you softly kiss her again. You want her and in this moment you ignore the pain you are feeling.
Ana cups your face and gently pulls away. You pout at the lack of connection but this time is doesn't work.
"Don't look at me like that. I want this just as much as you do but I won't have you hurting yourself more" Your heart warms at how Ana was back to protecting you, only this time it was from yourself.
It took 2 weeks for your concussion to pass and 6 weeks for your broken sternum to heal. The day you got the green light Ana took you out on your first official date and that night the longing you two of you experienced over the years was let go.

Nothing Stays The Same - Ana-Maria Crnogorčević x Reader
A/n: This was a request. It gets a little spicy but there's also a twist and some chaos here... so this fic is not what you think it is from the title.
///
You were eighteen when you moved to Frankfurt, a budding forward for 1. FFC Frankfurt and a first year undergraduate at the university, studying sport science. It hadn’t taken you a long time to develop a rapport with the staff, but the friendships with your teammates were a lot more interesting. Your first three years at FFC Frankfurt, you were teased for what was brushed off as a puppy love crush on Ana. It was something that she became aware of, but would just softly smile at you, rolling her eyes at your teasing teammates because you were young and needed to focus on your studying when you weren’t playing football.
You were twenty-one when Ana left FFC Frankfurt for the US, joining the Portland Thorns and the NWSL. The same season that ended with Ana leaving, a new transfer from playing college football in the US arrived, who eventually became your best friend. Laura Freigang.
Laura ended up being there for you through everything, going with you to your graduation and comforting you after your relationship went up in flames, not letting your ex ruin as much as she could have, but some things were still ruined for you.
Leaving what was now called Eintracht Frankfurt after the 2019/20 season, you left your fellow chaotic forward, and Germany, behind. Barcelona Femeni had decided they wanted to sign you for the next season due to injuries and transfers in their current squad. You were twenty-three when you arrived in Barcelona.
Your Spanish was, well, you weren’t as confident with it as you were with German or English, but you knew from looking at the Barcelona roster that you wouldn't be stuck struggling without any help. One thing you didn’t expect however, was to end up on a team with Ana again, the familiar nerves you thought had disappeared years ago cropping back up at the realisation you’d see her again.
However, you were not the same lovestruck eighteen year old crushing on someone older than you, anymore. The years at Frankfurt after Ana left had become powerful years for your development as a player, and as a person. Laura knew this, especially since she had helped you with everything to do with your ex, and as your chaotic best friend, loved to tease you about the idea of you and a Spanish girl instead of the Swiss player who was seven years your elder, and had moved on from your puppy love crush to date someone else.
Ana wasn’t sure how she felt when your transfer had been announced, her first thoughts going to her time at FFC Frankfurt, before reflecting on your skills as a forward… then remembering your little puppy crush on her, and how you’d stammer over your words, get flustered so easily and do whatever she asked you to. It was sweet, but that was all it was.
So when the other girls began to research you, finding your socials, she did the same, scrolling far back enough that she found your graduation photos with another player who was at FFC Frankfurt, arriving in 2018, Laura Freigang. She didn’t expect to hear her ex voicing the same thoughts that she was having.
“Are they dating Laura Freigang?”
Mapi’s question floored her, but she, like the other girls, had no answer. She was not even sure if you knew Spanish, but as she began to scroll up from after she left in 2018 to now, in 2020, Ana discovered she didn’t really know that much about you after losing contact.
You didn’t reach out to Ana upon your arrival to Barcelona, only making contact with her when she approached you talking to Caro, testing Caro’s German since she had spent five years at Wolfsburg before coming to Barcelona last season, the same season as Ana did.
“Na, kannst du noch Deutsch oder hast du schon alles wieder verlernt?” you teased, asking Caro if she still could speak German or if she had forgotten it already, having made a beeline for one of the players you knew could understand you, since your Spanish was very much lacking.
Catching Ana looking at you, you shot her a small smile before continuing to talk to Caro until the meeting began. You could feel more than one set of eyes on you as you spotted one of the Spanish defenders, María León looking at you, sending her an amused smirk/smile before trying to listen to the meeting again, grateful that Caro translated the important bits for you.
Heading out onto the pitch for the first training session, you’d already been in once before preseason, working with the staff to show what rate you were already at, but you immediately stayed close to Caro, until Ana walked over.
“Hey, wir werden heute zusammen trainieren, wir dachten uns, dass es vielleicht hilft, weil wir ja schon mal zusammen gespielt haben?” Ana explained, teaming up with you for the training drills since you both were forwards and knew each other from Frankfurt. You nodded as you headed off with Ana, smiling softly as she translated the instructions of the drills for you, before she turned to you with a smile.
“Dann zeig mal, was du alles so gelernt hast, seitdem ich gegangen bin.” Ana sassed, raising an eyebrow as she passed the ball to you.
The training drills had been fine until the attackers had to team up with the defenders, separating you from anyone else who spoke German in the process. Mapi raised an eyebrow at the confused look on your face at what Leila was trying to say, her Spanish going way over your head as you tried to pick out any words you knew, even glancing around at everyone else doing the drills to get an idea of what to do.
“Okay, um… I seriously need to find a Spanish teacher or something… Lo siento Leila!” you grumbled as you wiped at your forehead, feeling yourself starting to perspire in the heat.
“I can teach you, cariño?” Mapi offered, walking over to try to explain the drill to you, since Leila was still struggling.
“Danke schön, María!” you smiled, biting your lip as Mapi asked you to call her Mapi instead, about to explain the drill until Caro walked over, Mapi was taking too long so she explained it in German for you.
It was as Caro was walking away with Mapi that you called out to her, “Hey, ist es immer so heiß?” asking if it was always so hot, but the laughter from Caro suggested that it always was, making training a bit more interesting as all the girls were sparkling with sweat, and you were just about dying. No doubt it would amuse Laura when you called her later.
You had sparked intrigue in Mapi from the moment your transfer was announced, she knew she wanted to get to know you as more than just a teammate from watching you during training, but she waited until she finally had her chance, when the team went out to a club the night before a day-off during pre-season training.
Mapi approached you after having spotted you sitting in the booth on your own, the rest of the team having spread out across the dance floor. Instead, you were sitting there in the booth on your phone, texting who Mapi realised after a glance, was the player she wanted to ask you about.
“So, what is the deal with you and Laura Freigang?” Mapi asked, leaning forwards slightly so you could hear her better over the music, raising an eyebrow as you leaned in with a smirk.
“What do you think the deal is?”
“Only friends, I hope.” Mapi’s confidence wavered for a moment, but you smiled instead, remembering Laura’s teasing about you and a Spanish girl, even if it wasn’t meant to last.
“Then, you hoped correctly, contrary to what a lot of people think, Laura is my best friend.” You replied, assuring the Spaniard as she smiled, the confidence in her eyes amusing you as it reappeared.
“That is very nice to know.”
“Is it now?” raising an eyebrow, your head tilted to the side slightly as you questioned Mapi, but she smirked, leaning back slightly but her arm rested on the table.
“It really is.” Mapi hummed appreciatively, giving you a nowhere near subtle once over as you laughed slightly.
“You are not a fan of subtlety, I take it?”
“Now when I like what I see.” Mapi flirted, leaning in slightly again so you could hear her more clearly, thinking she was making you flustered.
“Well, I like what I see too.” Looking the Spaniard up and down, you ignored the feeling of eyes burning into the side of your head, no doubt that whoever it was, was watching you and Mapi interact.
“That is good, do you want another drink?” Mapi enquired, raising an eyebrow as you bit your lip for a moment. The Spaniard was clearly unaware that the two of you were being watched.
“Do you know if they do passionfruit martinis?” you asked, chewing your lip as Mapi nodded to herself.
“Let me find out for you.” She affirmed, getting up to head to the bar. Your gaze followed Mapi walking away as you called out “gracias!” the energy shifting as you met the gaze of who had been watching you and Mapi. A frowning Ana, who was supposed to be dancing with Jenni.
Jenni hadn’t realised the power behind her words as she pointed out that you must have been Mapi’s next target, admitting that you and Mapi seemed to be getting cosy as you didn’t back down or fluster at Mapi’s flirting. Jenni’s laughter stopped however when Ana failed to even smile, instead, a sour look overtook her face.
“You look like you sucked a lime, but we have not done body shots!” Jenni pointed out, watching as you got up from the booth to meet Mapi at the bar, who was having a rather long conversation with the bartender.
“Maybe we should do some then.” Ana didn’t think about what she was saying until it was late, just wanting you and Mapi off of her mind, but Jenni was already heading towards the bar.
“Hey, I think it’s also called a pornstar martini, but if they don’t do them-”
It took that name, plus the bartender googling the recipe for some reason, for the drink you asked for to be given to you.
“I was going to say, if they don’t do this, see if they can make an old fashioned.” you explained, raising an eyebrow as Mapi’s hand rested on your lower back, protecting you from whoever was barging past.
“Gracias… do you want to try it?” you asked, holding one of the paper straws out to Mapi, who nodded and tried the drink, her face burning slightly as you chuckled at the look on her face.
“Too sweet? No worries, I’m sure you are sweet enough without it.” You smirked, ignoring the look on Mapi’s face by drinking your martini, not hearing Mapi order an old fashioned next.
Jenni grinned as she ended up sliding in on the other side of you, ordering the tequila shots and lime wedges then stealing a couple of salt shakers.
“You two, body shots?” Jenni asked, gesturing to the salt shaker as the bartender passed Mapi the old fashioned, starting to pour the tequila into shot glasses.
Your nose crinkled up as you shook your head, “sorry, my ex ruined tequila for me,” having finished the passionfruit martini, Mapi passed the glass of old fashioned next, staring as you extracted the cherry and popped it into your mouth. Maintaining eye contact with the defender, Jenni smirked, a mischievous glint in her eye that Ana could recognise from across the club.
Jenni watched as you offered Mapi a sip of the old fashioned, how you had to remind her this drink had no straw, so she needed to hold the glass herself, seeing how Mapi fumbled slightly as your fingers touched hers.
“Better than the passion fruit martini?” you teased, noticing how Mapi hadn’t grimaced at this drink, but the contrast in your tastes intrigued her even more.
“How did your ex ruin tequila for you?” Jenni’s question interrupted the intense eye-contact that you and Mapi were sharing, raising an eyebrow as you went to eat the orange slice in the drink.
“We drank it a lot.”
“And now it reminds you of her?” Jenni tilted her head to the side, not seeing the tray of tequila shots and the lime wedges being passed to her until you gently nudged it so it wouldn’t fall on the floor.
“Safe to say that I do not want that.” Shrugging it off, you sipped your old fashioned, raising an eyebrow at the look on Mapi’s face.
“But tequila is fine when you are not the one drinking it?” Jenni asked, going to pass Mapi one of the tequila shots, a lime wedge, and the salt shaker.
“As long as I can’t taste it on your lips, but the lime and salt overpowers it.” You replied casually, not seeing the grin on Jenni’s face, or how Mapi was becoming the flustered one.
Jenni nodded, grinning as she picked up the tray, and another salt shaker, heading over to where the rest of the team were congregating.
“So… I’ll take that… but you have to figure out what you’re doing with the salt.” You smirked, taking the lime wedge to slip into your mouth, whilst Mapi picked up the salt shaker, glancing from it, to you.
Ana directed her gaze away, turning on her heel to head towards one of the doors, the bathroom or outside, it didn’t matter, she couldn’t watch Mapi do a body shot off of you any longer, the cacophony of thoughts in her head overwhelming and confusing her.
The only thing she could figure out from watching you and Mapi flirt was that you were not the shy human she’d met five years ago, but a much more confident chaotic being, who had no problem flirting, even if it had to be with her ex, of all people.
She had tried brushing it off as protectiveness as her ex pursued you, but she herself wanted to know more about you and who you had become after she left FFC Frankfurt. Maybe she hoped that you would come to check on her, but that was selfish, your puppy love crush had clearly evaporated, even as she heard the door open, revealing a concerned Jenni instead.
You may have loved her five years ago, but you were not the same person you were then, that you were now, and you shamelessly flirting with Mapi proved it.

The Wedding Date
Chapter one
Micaellas pov
I get ready to leave my apartment to go to my sanctuary which is right next to the training facility for Barcelona's football teams. I make sure I have everything before I walk out the door and into the hall. After I lock up, I walk down to my car and I unlock my car door and puts my bags inside. I then climb in the drivers seat and i drive to the sanctuary. Once I get there I grab my bags and unlocks my sanctuary door and then I go ahead and feeds all the animals. While i am feeding the animals i start hearing the players show up for training.
I look out the window and I wave over to Cata since we are friends. Cata waves back and I smile wide and then I finally finish feeding the animals. I then start on cleaning the enclosures. While I do that all my animals looks up at me happily. Cata pops her head over scaring me. I scream out in shock putting my hand over my chest and breathing heavily and I say Cata seriously omg. Cata laughed and she said that she just wanted to say hi and ask how the babies are doing. I shake my head and say hi and the babies are good just got fed and now I’m cleaning their enclosures and then I’m opening up.
She said okay then Bruna popped up next to her. I laughed and shook my head and said hi bruna did you enjoy your chocolate muffin I baked you. she pouts and says i didn't get a chance to eat it. I say aww I’m sorry perhaps after training? she says i hope so if its still there since the other girls were eyeing it. I giggled and said if its not I have more at home and you both can come over for dinner you can even invite your team. They both yell sweet and when. I giggled and said you both come over every single night when I cook dinner what time do we usually eat silly’s.
they say around 6 pm and I smile and say yes that’s when we will eat dinner. Okay, let your team know and go before you both get in trouble. They both say bye and they jump down. I smile and say bye and I continue to work on cleaning the enclosures. After i finished, I went outside to put the open sign on the door and I saw a lot of people waiting and I smiled and said come on in. They all look at the animals and I tell them some facts about them, their names, ages and where they are from and how I’m trying to end poaching and get them back to their habitats.
They all start asking questions. I answered all of the questions and after showing the last animal they go to the gift shop and gets their kids their favorite stuffies and I take care of that for them and then they look at the baked goods and buys some too. I sit down and then i hear my name being called so i walked back outside and i say yes cata whats up. Cata says do you still have tours available and the gift shop and I say yeah why? She says the girls would like to come over. I say okay but after your training remember and then I say I have a full house.
She laughs and says i know after training and what do you mean you have a full house. I say there’s no way anyone else can come inside it’s completely packed right now. She says okay and I giggled and kissed her cheek and say I’ll see you later then. she says okay text me when they leave. I smile and say okay will do and then I walk back in and I see a little girl without their family around looking at the animals and I walk over to her and smiles and says aren’t they adorable? She says yeah they are and I smile and say are you alone sweetheart where’s your mom or your dad? She flinched when I talked about her parents and I say how old are you sweetheart it’s okay your safe here.
she says i am 4 and I say okay sweetheart take my hand and we’ll wait until everyone leaves ok. She nods her head and gives me her hand and she then asks what’s next door. I smile and take her hand and say the Barcelona femeni woman’s team are training right now. She gets excited and says really. I giggle softly and say yes sweetheart and then I look around to see everyone smiling at me and saying goodbye and how much fun they had.
i say i am glad that you guys had a great time and please come again. They smile and say we definitely will thanks again and they all leave and I turn my attention back to the little girl and I say I have some clothes you can wear let’s go to the bathroom okay. She says okay and I smile and Leads her towards the bathroom and I get her cuts cleaned up and her bruises covered. She quietly says thank you. I say your welcome sweetheart can I ask you your name and she says sofia ma’am and I smile and say hello sofia I’m micaella. she says i like your name and I smile wide and say aww thank you sweetheart I like yours more and then I change her clothes and braids her hair.
After I change her clothes and braid her hair she then snuggles into me. I looked down at her surprised and then I asked her why she’s alone. She says they didn’t want me anymore so they kicked me out. I covered my mouth to hide my sobs and I hold onto her and I ask why she has cuts and bruises. She looks down and said they hit me and then kicked me out and I then texted Jonathan asking if I can get one of his medical staff over here and not to tell Bruna or Cata and I hold onto her showing her what love feels like. He texts back saying that the entire medical team is coming over. I say okay thank you so much and then I ask Sofia if it’s okay if a doctor examines you so I know how to help and treat you.
She says okay but please don’t leave me. I say I won’t sweetheart I promise let’s go get some food for you . I should still have some muffins. She said okay and then I heard my name being called. I pick her up and she clings onto me and I look up and see the medical staff hi guys thanks for coming so quickly. They all say we came quickly when we heard it was you that needed us. I gently hug them all and say this little one is Sofia. She's 4 years old and her parents physically abused her and kicked her out. I was hoping you guys could check her out for me.

Give them something to talk about • Alexia Putellas
Alexia gives the crowd something to talk about after a game.
Tumblr media
You struggled at first, not playing beside Alexia after her injury put her out for so long. You had never gone this long without playing besides your girlfriend and the change was difficult.
A guilty feeling was there, playing each week whilst Alexia sat on the sidelines.
“How is Alexia?”
Each matchday, the dreaded question.
“Hmm, she’s fine. She’s sat up with Jana and Cata.” You smile at Pina, knowing she meant nothing by it.
You loved Alexia, everyone knew that, but the same question over and over is enough to annoy you.
-
You ran out onto the pitch alonside Mapi, and started warming up together.
You looked up at the stands above the benches and spotted Alexia, smiling as she blew you a kiss.
The two of you were very private, not liking to put your relationship on the public stage too much so you didn’t blow one back with the cameras on you.
The game started off well, Aitana putting you 1-0 up in the fourth minute, yourself getting your first goal at the 25th. You celebrated with your team on the field before pointing up at Alexia and doing an A with your fingers for her, something you’d done all through the euros and the season so far.
Through the rest of the game you bag 3 more goals, ending the match 11-0.
After the match you walk around with your teammates, signing a few things for fans above the benches.
“Y/N ARE YOU DATING ALEXIA?” You hear one fan shout, ignoring what they ask and shuffling closer to Mapi as they begin to ask more and more.
“Do you guys ever stop?” Mapi snapped back at them, throwing the pen back in the stands.
You get a shirt thrown in your face from the same person that originally shouted the question.
“What the fuck!” You grumble, throwing it right back into the stands with the same energy. “I’ve had enough Maps,” you grab her hand and the two of you head back into the middle of the pitch where the rest of the team stand.
You see Alexia hugging a few teammates, but you stay standing patiently for your turn.
“Hola pretty girl.” You smirk, hugging her for a little longer than the rest did, keeping an arm around her waist when you pull away.
“You played amazing today.” She smiles softly, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear.
“Thank you, bebita.” You whisper, taking her hand in yours and fiddling with her ring.
“Yeh! And then some idiot threw a shirt in Y/N’s face.” You heard Mapi say to Patri.
“What?” Alexia looked at you, gaining the attention of everyone else.
“Hmm, it’s fine. Some guy just started shouting questions, if we were dating and stuff then he threw a shirt at me to sign. They just want the gossip to talk about.” You shrugged, not wanting to make a big deal anymore.
“I’ll give them something to talk about.” Alexia snapped, an angry tone in her voice.
She pulled you close to her and kissed you softly on the corner of your mouth, you rested your head on her chest and her arms hung over your shoulders and down your back, your own wrapped around her waist.
“Te amo mucho.” You whisper.

I'll never get tired of watching them celebrate! The smiles!
Also Mapi jumping around with Barca's president is killing me!
