Not me crying at 3am crying over Mark and Ethan talking about unus annus post mortem. We made it. Unus Annus. A lot can happen in one year. Tempus fugit. Tempus neminem manet. Fic idea: Mary and Darci take Claire out to get their nails done. There’s just one little hiccup. And by one little hiccup, it’s the three ancient demigods Claire has to babysit for the day.

Bellroc is gossiping with Mary about ancient and historical figures as she teaches them about modern slang.

Skrael is getting their nails done like the king they are with Darci, who is kind of digging the icicle nail look.

Nari is absorbing water and we don't know why, but Claire builds them a towel fort and they love it.

They get banned from the spa.

If not evident already, I just finished watching Belle (竜とそばかすの姫, The Dragon and The Freckled Princess) and I absolutely loved it.

It doesn't need to be said if you've seen any of the clips, but it's an absolutely gorgeous film. It's a feast visually and a musical delight. The VFX left me stunned, and both the 2D and 3D worlds were a delight to experience. Suzu's outfits in U were gorgeous and Nakamura Kaho has such a beautiful voice. Though the plot is a little disjointed in places, it comes together beautifully in the end. There are so many stories that are told in this film. Though it clearly does draw inspiration from the Beauty and the Beast fairytale, this film explores the themes of trauma, abuse, the internet, and making human connections that aren't necessarily romantic. I cried five, maybe more times watching it. The only word that I can really describe it with is beautiful. You just have to watch it.

Because I want an ending where everyone is happy and Hunter is not traumatized by his uncle and Luz is not traumatized by everything about Hunter’s uncle and we can just have a nice fun little rivalry between the kids of these former friends/classmates

Orla Gartland's Why Am I Like This? is in Ep.2 of Heartstopper Netflix and I'm just?? The scene it was used in was perfect, but also hearing Orla in a big show is just??!!?!

Because of this post by @/valentimmy, I now headcanon that Douxie stole borrowed Claire's barrettes to pin back his hair. He started using them back when they traveled to Camelot and hasn't given them back since.

Claire doesn't mind though. She's got an infinite supply somewhere and manages to pull them out at random times. It's forever a mystery how she manages to acquire them, but between Douxie and Claire using (and losing) their barrettes, they still haven't run out and likely never will.

FYI I have no script or big plan for how the Ambrosia Diner AU is going to go aside from a few major plot points. I’m kind of just winging it lol. Everything in the first chapter has been drawn in my little emotional support notebook sketchbook instead of digitally so that I can draw at school. I do intend on posting each chapter to Ao3 as they’re completed. I’ll also probably go back and clean them up digitally before posting there so huzzah.

For real, I loved Mark's tribute, but there's something about the triumphant and rousing music and all of the shots of the coffin in Ethan's. And in both of theirs, the resounding finality of the resting of their roses. I'm sobbing.

I feel like people don't talk enough about the idea of Douxie and Zoe mentoring Claire, Darci, and Mary to create a good band.

Like, yeah, Douxie taught Claire how to wield her magic, even earning him the nickname "Teach," but consider these two wizards who've been around almost a millennia just teaching these three high schoolers how to write a song, where to pick up the best gigs in Arcadia, getting a following, etc. etc.

That'd probably be one thing I'd like to have seen post-Wizards, if ROTT didn't happpen.
