Fareeha groaned without opening her eyes. “Mother, I am an adult. If I wish to sleep in I will—ugh.” By the time she looked up, Ana was already gone. “Love you, too,” she mumbled to the empty space.

Tsk. Chores. If it weren’t for the promise of food, Fareeha would probably just leave out of spite.

...but she did love that takeout place.

With a sigh, Fareeha rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and kicked the blankets away. Looked like she had a busy day ahead of her, then.
