i dont like when character being blunt/having no filter = character just being Mean, and im trying to find a good balance with that for Talon. I guess it's not that hard since he's not an (active) overthinker and I have drawn him saying things he considers neutral that seem rude to others...I guess I have to find a way to show the opposite, too

A Look At October 2020
The energy of October in general is a great time for us to break free from addictions and old patterns that are no longer serving us. It can be a great time to clean out closets, and get rid of stuff that we are no longer using. It calls us to simplify, and get down the basics of what is really important in life. As we release having excess stuff we are able to create greater movement and freedom in our life. In doing this we often times will not only cut our expenses; but we will create movement that opens us to new possibilities and opportunities.
October on its own is also a great time for making discoveries, unfolding secrets, and learning the truth of things. The veils between worlds become thin at this time, and that makes it harder for things to hide or remain secret. As they say the unseen becomes seen. In discovering the truth of things, we also naturally unfold lies and deceptions. It is common this month to learn of people’s true nature and to see those that are not working in integrity, have been manipulating or deceiving us, and who have been presenting themselves as something that they simply are not.
This year in October, we find that others come to our aid. If we ask for help we will get it. At this time it is the wisdom of our past experiences that can see us through. People from our past and patterns from our past may surface to see where we are at with them. It is always important with people to see if they are different or the same, and if who they are today is resonating with who you are today. Mostly likely if someone surfaces at this time, we have some sort of unfinished business with them. Perhaps there was no full closure on the relationship, or perhaps circumstances prevented it from going further than it could have, or maybe the timing simply was not right. With patterns, they will arise to see if we are able to make wiser decisions at this time.
It is important to give careful thought to any decisions that we make at this time, especially if it involves a person or pattern from our past. How we choose in that situation can greatly affect what happens in our life moving forward. If we have learned our lessons from previous experiences we will choose wisely; and create a solid, stable, and fortunate future for ourselves.
This year also is likely to reveal those that are jealous and insecure during this month. It has a pattern in codes that connects with assassination. That means that those that are feeling insecure, and are resentful of other people’s success are likely to strike out. This is a subconscious fear that often times resides unknown in those that gain rapid success. It is a fear of someone waiting to take them out in some way. Often times this will happen is simply trying to discredit the person that is envied or having the success. However, it can also indicate an actual attempt on life.
The assassination pattern is most likely to play out more on a global level and in the realm of world leaders and politicians. It could also play out in royal families or with others that have a lot of power in the world through money or resources. Whether an individual survives this type of an attempt would be dependent on their own personal codes at the time, such as their own personal year, where they are living, and where they are at the time of the attempt. These attempts are made as a statement based in a fear of the assassin to never be able to achieve what the successful person has achieved. It is based in trying to get recognition and notoriety no matter what they have to do to achieve. Finally, it is a way that they show they are “better than” or more powerful than the person that is getting the recognition.
From October 1st – October 22nd we are likely to find ourselves having to step up and be a leader in some way. This is likely to happen in two completely different ways; and bring two completely different outcomes. One way is to become a leader and key person within a group. In this scenario we will bring others together, and harness the assets of anyone involved. We may lead others through a coaching or mentoring process which also helps them to find their own way and harness their skills in a way that brings greater success. In leading in this way, we open the door to our ventures being successful and create a successful future based in things that we enjoy.
In the second scenario, leadership comes up as a result of rebellion energy. Those that step into leadership this way are usually set on creating strife; and will succeed at doing that for themselves and others. It is all about upsetting someone or something that they disagree with. We see this in activist movements that turn into riots. We see this often where people have felt repressed and suppressed. The key is to learn how to speak up and present views without having to be in battle and on the attack of others. Taking a leadership position in a rebellious energy form, will not only create turbulence in the present moment; but sets this person on a very unfavorable path in life which magnifies their sense of being a victim and repressed. The main purpose of this is to create upheaval and bring others into their suffering.
During this time we will be best to stay out of battles, and to avoid taking sides. Battles are likely to get quite ugly and disruptive; and being on either side will bring a downfall. It will be better to stay neutral, and be in the position of simply observing things without getting involved in them.
During this time there is likely to be a lot of “mud-slinging” and spreading of lies. Ethics and integrity are almost completely out of the picture where people are in battle or protest. These will become evident; and it will be important to simply remove oneself from the situation.
This will be a good time to take some time out and simply create some personal balance and be in connection with spirit. When the outer world becomes disruptive and aggravated, one of the best things we can do is to find quiet spaces such as in nature or where we can strongly connect with nature be that taking a hike, rappelling down a canyon wall, going for a bike ride, or simply listening to the ocean waves crash on the shore. Nature allows us to restore our balance, and to remember our soul self. It gives us a break from those that have forgotten who they are and have become absorbed by this world.
From October 23rd – October 31st we still need to exercise caution. The rebel energy shifts into competition and control patterns. People will want to prove that they are the best no matter what it takes. They will try to engage those that are strong in confidence or spirit into any form of competition that they can. It is important that we are careful of even those “friendly” competitions because in reality they are not. There are hidden layers under that which may have much darker patterns of destroying those that are strong in spirit; or perceived to be favorites even if they are not.
During this time there is likely to be strong competitions to gain control over others; and to see who can exert the greatest show of force or power. It is important that those that are used to “giving” and “serving” learn to say NO. It is important that they learn to be receivers, as they are likely to be taken advantage of, abused, and mistreated.
Those that want to have the truth shown, or to expose corruption are likely to receive threats and be the target of force to attempt to keep them quiet. We often see this happen where those in charge really don’t know what they are doing; and someone beneath them is smart, caring, and able to think for themselves. The person in charge will then feel very threatened by those that are able to operate free from programming and won’t take things as face value or simply follow orders; especially if they are incorrect or unethical.
For those who stand strong in their soul self at this time; any competition or “battle” that they are forced into they will come out ahead. They will receive acknowledgement and recognition for their ability to stand strong in their ethics while under fire. While it may be very unpleasant to go through, they are likely to have a successful outcome. Lies at this time will not be able to overcome the truth which is why those that stand in truth are likely to be a bit under attack.
This is a powerful time of endings and transformation. For those that are working on their own personal shifts and transitions, there are likely to be tests and initiations that need to be seen through. The victory will be sweet on the other side.
Under this influence, however, there is also a need to be cautious and to be extra safe in what we do. This is a time that brings in the code pattern of strange happenings and accidents. It is a time where we could see people passing from our world. This influence is often active when we suddenly see several strange accidents that are almost unexplainable; and often involve car or vehicle accidents.
Accidents at this time are often centered in travel or adventure activities. It is a time that construction workers are at higher risk, and things that should happen do. We may see several celebrities pass or a spree of shootings based in competition or repressed rage. We will do best to minimize our time in heavily populated areas, always choose on the side of caution, and keep travel to a minimum.
In Summary, this is a great month to release addictions and old patterns. It is a time to simplify, and clear out excess stuff in our life. Be open to learning and discoveries. Ask for help where you need it. Face aspects of your past with the soul’s wisdom; and see if they are right for you at this time or best laid to rest. Resolve what was left unresolved. Beware of those that are jealous or insecure, as there is danger around them; do what you can to step away from where they are and do not engage in any form of competition or validating yourself around them.
Step up into a positive leadership position by helping others come together as a team, and bringing out the assets that others have to share. Success comes from learning and understanding. Stay away from those that are operating from a rebellious space, especially if they are coming from victim or repressed energy. Take time for yourself and create some personal balance. Do not compete with others. Learn how to receive and say NO to others. Pay attention where others around you feel threatened by your wisdom and/or confidence.
Honor endings and transformation; and stay focused on making your own personal shifts. Be extra careful and use caution in everything that you do; particularly when traveling or driving somewhere. Stay away from high adventure activities.

Actions to focus on
This month the codes show that we need to stand strong in our soul self and stay focused on our own business and keep our noses out of other people’s business. At times this can feel a bit heavy as we stay focused on meeting obligations and responsibilities. It may feel a bit like all we are doing is working; but in the long run this will pay off for us.
Success comes where we stand strong in getting things done; and this can be a great time to tackle any bigger projects that we can do on our own. Staying busy will likely help to keep us out of a lot of the drama which others are creating. Beware of those that try to give you advice at this time; there are likely to be some hidden motives in what they are directing you towards.
It is important that you stand strong in making your own decisions and don’t let others persuade you in a different direction. You need to stand strong on what is right for you, no matter how much you trust them or they appear to care about you. Take in what they are saying to see if there is anything that you need to look into further; but then make your own decision.
This is a time where it is easy to get worn down, and to feel drained by trying to keep up with things. The heaviness of a workload can easily leave us feeling a bit depressed or broken emotionally. It will be important to take time to create balance through spiritual experiences, and with things that are not based in money and commercialism.
During this month we want to take time to engage our senses as much as possible. Time in nature is an easy way to do this. However, it may also include indulging in flavors or scents of the season. Another way to work with heavy material world energy is to allow ourselves a little indulgence as long as it doesn’t put us in a detriment to do it; such as increasing our debt to get away.
People have a tendency to be argumentative; especially where family is concerned, and there are bitter feelings. This is a time where globally we may see more wars breaking out. Treachery and deception will most likely be at the root of arguments, as will arguments over money or other possessions.
Even Mother Nature is likely to get in on all of this action; and we are likely to see sudden and dramatic weather patterns arise. In this month’s code pattern we find that it will be important to not take any chances with the elements. That means that we are likely to see an increase in things like hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, fires, flooding, tornados, snow and ice storms. Our environments can become very uncertain even incorporating multiple elements like a fire one day and flooding the next. It is important that we do not try to take chances such as outrunning a storm, waiting to evacuate an area, waiting to take action, or assuming that a storm won’t be much. This is a time to live by the phrase “better safe than sorry” where the elements are concerned.

What to focus your thoughts on
From October 1st – October 14th we find that peace comes from staying focused on what needs to get done. This is a time where our mind needs to be able to get freed up a bit and we can help it do that by bringing things to completion; especially those bigger projects that are on our plate. We may find ourselves faced with big decisions during this time and it is important that we think through what is best for us; and what will offer us balance and harmony. What provides that will be where the answer or solution is.
During this time our mind may drift into upheaval and turbulence. It is easy to get into spirals of failure and strife; or feeling that we just can’t take things any more. It is important that we do not buy into these lies, simply because we are feeling tired and worn down. It is allowing ourselves to remain in these spirals that creates more turbulence, and sets us on an unfavorable course.
It will be important to redirect our thoughts on getting through things, instead of rebelling against what we don’t like. When we learn to keep a positive mindset, regardless of how we feel they are working out; we can shift from instability to stability. Much of the strife or feeling of things not working out comes from listening to others or letting them persuade us into something that simply is not favorable for us. Thus we need to say NO, even with those that we feel are trying to look out for us if it is not the right thing for us.
From October 15th – 28th we want to keep our mind open to all possibilities and to learning what we can. During this time we can create some positive successes for ourselves; but that will come from being able to handle sudden and unexpected shifts and changes that emerge. The turbulence that arises in our life is coming up to help us make shifts and changes that are long overdue to make.
During this time it will be useful to learn how to quiet our mind, and to use our thoughts to bring us into calm spaces. This is important since we are likely to get a few curve balls and unexpected information thrown at us. These are things that there is no way to prepare for and no way that we could have seen coming. All we can do is deal with the sudden and unexpected pieces as they arise. Keeping our mind strong allows us to take command of things; and when we do this with a compassionate heart, we will be able to guide things in most any direction that we would like to take them.
Our mind will best be used to create shifts and transformation. It is a great time to work on re-directing our thoughts from trauma to triumph. It will help us to adjust the way we see or view things; and to bring forth new ways of thinking about things. This time favors considering the role of death and re-birth and how that can benefit us to be in the flow of those cycles instead of resisting them. It is worth considering how consciously being involved in that process can propel us into incredible new spaces.
From October 29th – October 31st we are able to stand in more positive thoughts a little bit easier. Our mind has a natural tendency to focus on being abundant and generating success and well-being in our life. There is a greater sense of safety and security as we move out of concepts of lack and into realizing we have more than what we need.
During this time our power is centered in our thoughts. This reminds us that what we are thinking and the thoughts that we hold actually are one way that we are using our power. Positive thoughts are a positive use of our power, while thoughts of revenge or hate are a misuse of our power. We can rise into power, or come crashing down depending on the thoughts that we keep at this time. It is important that we do not let our mind engage in thoughts of how to compete with others or “get” others for something that they have done or said. Doing this will only create our own devastation
Success will emerge, as long as we stand strong in knowing the truth. We need to be careful of self-deception and the lies that we tell ourselves during this time. These can include things like thinking we are not good enough or that we are better than or worse than others. It can even be thoughts that we deserve hardships and other misfortune that happens. This is not the truth and it is important that we call out the lies that we are telling ourselves, and reprogram our mind with what is true.

Nourishing the soul
October 1st and 2nd may find us pre-occupied with feeling a bit stressed, and wanting to escape any political or control games that are happening in our life. There is a desire to escape into those places that are more pleasant for us. This can be a great time to do a personal retreat, or to simply provide some time to be in soul connection. This can be through meditation, visualization, yoga, being in nature; anything that allows you to care for your health and well-being.
October 3rd through October 28th is all about breakthroughs, transformation, and stepping further into the soul self. This is a time of leaving behind that aspect of ourselves which is absorbed with material world things and commercialism; especially where it means being better than others. It is a time for stepping into living responsibly, and becoming more self-sufficient.
At this time our soul awakens where we are practical, creative, and allow ourselves to connect to the intrinsic values that are what is truly valuable in our world. This is a good time to step forward and to lead others towards living in their soul self; and to help others awaken into who they truly are. This is a time of major shifts and transformations, and to create a whole new existence with the soul self at the center of what we do and who we are.
October 29th – October 31st asks us to get real and connected with what is truly important. It asks us to find fulfillment from within instead of from our possessions and things that are outside of our own self. This is a wonderful time to learn more about ourselves; and to embrace the soul’s wisdom. During this time our soul self asks us to bring things to completion and to tie off loose ends.
This is a good time for us to focus on what we can do that doesn’t cost us anything. It is a time to connect with ourselves and others soul to soul; and to learn that it is the experience that we create that makes something valuable and important, and not how much we spend doing it. This is a time where experiences will have a major impact on how rapidly we progress ourselves. If we will embrace our own natural skills and assets we can set ourselves on a very favorable course.

It’s a less successful attempt to swing it out broadly.
Bring the paddle in a comfortable path to the nose in front of you. Enable your core to do this. Be sure that your arm is spread out and your upper arm will remain in line with your chest, next to your ear, to reduce pressure on your back. Then you turn the hips straight with your back and let your shoulders flex a little when you place your paddle blade in the water.

Take care to completely immerse your paddle blade and keep the angle perpendicular to your stroke surface. When you find your blade tough to get underwater, use your paddle to make it a little faster. It suggests that you must bow less, but you must take more regular strokes. Drop It is time to slide the blade away from the surface, because the paddle goes along with your hands. Your paddle loses control as it crosses your body line. You twist your upper body too long with too much movement, which reduces performance and makes you less flexible as you weigh more on one leg. Concentrate on getting out of the blade sooner alongside your feet when you find yourself sprinkling by raising water at the end of your stroke. You just return the body to a straight stance rather than pull up your arms at the end of the stroke to free the paddle from water. When you get up and take your arm straight, your upper hand falls down and into the neck, and the blade glides without water with minimal energy.
The paddle leaves the water when the torso movement goes upright during its release. Remember that much of the arms remain straight.
Recovery You reached the recovery process of your stroke once the blade gets free of water during release. Terminate upright, let the muscles, particularly the arms, shoulders and back, loose the tension. This is an opportunity to give your muscles a break before leaning into your next grip. To optimise performance, push the paddle near the rail board instead of leaving your body.
The shoulders rotate back in position during the healing process, as the paddling stance returns.
Now that you have a good idea what the ideal SUP stroke would look like, it’s time to put the experience to work and get out of it. To learn to paddles is always great fun, to continue to improve your technique, with an inoffensive and relaxing sparkle in the water. From the normal starting points to significant change and confidence for the ongoing the most satisfying factor is progressing
