Left: Mia, 24, she/her, changeling

Right: Prince(oficial name to be decided yet), 23, he/him(for now), "demon"/kobolt(gotta see if the race is trademarked but if not then its the official name)

They are a duo from the adult arc of a comic I'm writting :D, got the first 5 volumes(bela lua chronicles), the child arc, in a nice time-line, and am currently working on the script of volume 1, got to chapter 3

These two, in that form, are only going to apear after volume 5, so in the adult arc

However, Mia(Miranda) will appear as one of the main characters in kid form:

^ this is her with her brother( jointed households tipe of thing) Cadu, the main main boy, she is 13 he is 12 there

Prince will be at maybe hinted at in volume 3 or 5, since one of his uncles is one of the main treats of this story

IN SHORT CONTEXT: since 13, after the events of the main story, Mia is kept under constant surveillance and experiments of an organization dedicated to hunt down ocultist and demons, for now they are called EXECUTORS

Meanwhile, in the main story, we follow Cadus perspective in the adult arc as he joins the EXECUTORS, like his father before him, and his curent antagonist is King(place holder name bc Princes father isn't named yet), and his many attempts of settling and conquering human cities

Cadu up to that point in theory won't have a narrative foil, he is the next generation, and his mentor is to have direct paralels and attitudes with King, hence Prince enters the game

His first introduction is to be his charade, he is cunning, he is flamboyant, he is always demanding attention and is the second head of the kingdom, his father is very busy with conquering so he is left with having to deal with the political swing and senators bullshit, as well as paperwork

That, his upbeat and arrogant attitude, is not his personality, it's his mask, he, like his father, is born with a condition, no matter how many human souls he consumes(the magic sistem: demon eats human soul? Gains magic powers, human eats demon soul? Gains magic powers), he will never be able to use magic, so he has to play and bluff his way to keep power and his fathers favoritism(the concept of heir is different for them)

That makes him weak, that makes him a target, he has to dela with ridicule constantly and fight with words only to maintain the minimal respect he has gained, he is, at the end of the day stressed as fuck, and since he can only work, and deal with the hierach stupidity, he has few loyal allies(read friends)

And that's where Mia comes in

One day his father gets a plan, he needs the EXECUTORS distracted from his affairs, so, what better distraction than a prison break out of the most dangerous ocultist?

Sending his son(who he knows is damn good at infiltration and a sneaky little shit) to make the break out while he leads a raid in a human city, that's when Prince meets Mia

At the deeps of the EXECUTORS prison cells, lies a woman, a beast in human form, the sole survivor of the cult The Esculptors, the first of her kind, a true first born, the only one who survived her own sacrifice, The first Daughter

The only one who didn't get out of her cell when the door opened, and that intrigues the Prince, since she was one of the five in solitary, in theory one of th deadliest, why isn't she going out?

"There is no place for me to go" she says

"... I could give you one" he answers

And that's how Prince has now an "attack dog", and soon, a very loyal friend, loyalty that he,against all he has done up until that point to himself and others, reciprocate in the same note:

Him and Mia are gonna be the "vilain main duo" to Cadu and Emily(his best friend and... ex-complicated aituationship with Mia), the next generation that will pick and change the world, that kinda stuff

In Cadu and Emily, we explore the EXECUTORS side, the things going on behind the scenes where we learn that "demons" and humans are the damn same, exploring the magic system. While in Prince and Mias's side, we explore the cultural difference, the political intrigue, the why's of the two worlds being apart and the revelation that actualy love these two world are unnaturally apart they should be one and the same so let's merge them again

Princes arc is gonna be to create a stable support sistem for him to be himself, those clotes in the art are in his mid term, still eye-catching but not as much as they were, bc he prefers more dark and neutral colors

A fun thing I want to make them is that... well, it is me we are talking about I love gender non conforming pairs, they are my jam, and I decided to explore that in the cultural diference, as clotes

Mia, to human standards is very much a bunch/masc inclined, baggy clotes, monochrome colors, generic sports gear, but to "demons", that I have as base the fact that male cobras are vibrant and female cobras are more muted colors, is text book example of femininity, and that's important bc in the child arc, and why in canon Emily and Mia would never work, is that femininity in masculinity is Mia whole thing

In the child arc, Emily ^, has a big crush on Mia, the way she shows this is by trying to share extreme feminine things with her, she wants Mia to wear feminine clothes bc she thinks she would look cuter in them, very innocent stuff, but the problem is... she is pushy and that drives Mia away, she likes being sporty, she likes being neutral, she likes baggy clothes, selfsteam is not an inssue the inssue is people being pushy with their wants over hers

And that continues in the adult arc, when Emily discovers Mia is alive and looking like this:

The little crush resurges and now that she is older she knows what it is officially, while Cadu is in denial that's his sister, Emily is in denial Mia is by her own choice with the "demons" and wants her back so badly, but Mia... never considered Emily important, that was Cadu and he... is not well, not in great terms right now, so any talk she has with the woman is only testing her patience, and when she explodes is the epitome of Emily finaly moving on and changing and Mia opening up to Prince

Then we got Prince, wearing vibrant colors, very much eye-catching mannerisms and "personality", that is him playing the part as very masculine and "dangerous", in reality he is very quiet and prefers monochrome tones, and only after solidifying this loyalty that is happening between him and Mia is when he will start to open up and be more authentic, bc now if someone insults him, and he can't lay a finger in them bc politic stuff and allies, Mia will, she has cultivated the attack dog persona for a reason

Do yeah, that's Mia and Prince sumirazed lore, leaving her child arc story, his problem with his dad and mom, the political rivalry, just the important beats that these two will play on and with each other

She is the Dragon to his Villain, the comander to his army, he is the second chance of humanity, the fellow ankward social bean

They are romantic/queerplatonic(depending in my mood) but will never even kiss or say ilu in canon story♡

For any other demon Mia is apathetic and a danger, for Prince she is just an introverted

For any other demon Prince is an annoying attention seeking whore, for Mia he is just an introverted forced to be an ambverted

She has to drag him to bed bc his workaholic ass has to double shift since his dearest dad has not yet answered three piles of paper work since last week, he has to remind her and force her to eat since, you know, losing all that was dear to her(saw her mom die, and explosion to her face making ehr lose half of it and a limb, as well as thinking Cadu was dead) at age 12 has fucked up her brain so hard she sometimes gets back to the bad cycle that was prison of selfstarvation

They will make each other better much to the despair of everyone else(the demon concil, the Executors, Princes rivals, Mias depresion demons etc)

now that i’ve had time to process ‘incidents around the house,’ i fully believe that Other Mommy was bela’s future self with all her accumulated traumas desperate to possess baby bela bc her adult life sucks ass. like, i truly believe ursula and russ were so negligent and stupid that the book’s events themselves are actually fantastical representations of their terrible behavior, and all part of a purgatory-esque loop that bela is stuck in because her parents’ tomfoolery fucks her up for life.

the events just compound until bela realizes Other Mommy’s offer for trading places is the only way she’ll be able to escape the hell that has become her homelife. the demonic horrors are just a fantastical way of expanding on the real life horrors of having terrible parents. the cheating parent. the doormat parent. houseparties offering weed and alcohol with a literal child in the house. traumadumping to that literal child when you’re drunk and you think the kid’s asleep. ignoring the literal child when she’s upset. isolating her, not even noticing that she’s isolating HERSELF.

i think human bela is already dead, or on her way to dying, and the book itself is just a way for bela to come to terms with the fact that her parents weren’t good people. that maybe in life they were present enough that she had shelter and food, but nothing more than that. i think bela had to grow up watching her parents continue to ruin each other’s lives until one day she realized she was old enough to leave, but just bc u leave a horrible home doesn’t mean the home leaves u. and i think in the end, bela accepting the trade with Other Mommy is just adult bela retreating into herself and regressing into her childself bc it’s the only time she’s ever been happy. not safe, bc her parents were always garbage, but happy bc an eight year old doesn’t understand stuff like a thirty-six year old does. they’ll love mommy and daddo even tho mommy’s borderline sociopathic and daddo’s a cuckold and a doormat.

i think the end of the book also proved to us that bela’s never getting out of her purgatory either, because the grief and the trauma of a horrible home is eternal. and that no matter how hard we try, we’ll never get back the happiness we used to have when we were eight years old. malerman’s best novel yet. truly shook 😭

ALL THE THOUGHTS ON BELA !!! i love her so so sooooo so much !!! she was suchhhh an amazing character and GOD THAT WOULDVE BEEN THE BEST TO SEE HER AGAIN i think it would be SO interesting to see bela as a demon that's such a good idea!!! i loveddd seeing her in every episode, i loved her attitude and her wit and the times she was vulnerable and i loved that she was unapologetic!! i genuinely just enjoyed watching her so much. and of course she's just gorgeous <3

and jo!!!! jo is one of my favorite characters of all time tbh. first of all i just have such a huge crush on her and always think about lesbian-winchester-sibling!reader x jo ughhhh. i mean she's just such a readable and relatable and real character to me. her want to prove herself, her desire to be seen as adult and able to protect herself, but the fact that she's just just young. they all were, and i appreciate the way that she portrayed that. i love her wit too and i want to kiss her so so so so bad!!! she's just sweet and badass and realistic and imperfect and selfless and flawed in such normal(?) or maybe relatable ways that makes her character very appealing to me i guess. and obviously she likes girls hehehe!!

honestly cassie feels like so long ago because of my horrible memory but i really really enjoyed watching her as well!! i would really want to rewatch the episode she's in and give my thoughts then tbh <33 wanna show the love to the fullest!! i loved how realistic she was too; she didn't just go along with what dean said about the supernatural and i liked to see her search for the truth about everything and find it on her own terms. of course that totally fit with her being a reporter!

oooh god.... i got this question waiting in other asks so i'll be able to give multiple answers. for now i will be talking about my Anael X Bela amv!

it's one of my first amvs and i'm just so happy with how it turned out 🥺 it's quite simple but very sweet, i'm quite proud of making content for a rarepair, first of all. but also how i managed to make it work with two characters who do not interact in canon, it's not even the same aesthetic! i wasn't working with hd yet so it's a bit frustrating to rewatch, however that's when i tried out putting voiceovers, and i love the typos i did :) also swiftnatural 💕

i truly LOVE the idea of these two together. i think demon Bela should have had Ruby's place in s15!! the plot is literally about some artefact??? hello.... why the fuck bring back Ruby when Bela is right there!! knowing about artefacts was her job! she was great at it! they already ruined the opportunity by having that guy cas hates instead, how hard was it to have Bela for one little episode. that's part of why i can't get behind Anael X Ruby even tho the canon gives us some compelling scenes, all i think about is how Ruby 1.0 was a better actress it should have been BELA!! yes Anael could have two hands but no not in this case.

i WISH they were able to explore that more, especially as rn it's just blaming Bela for her choice - a choice she made at 14yo! they never question why a 14yo would make a deal, like the way she's treated is so unfair. she could have died bc they didn't have time/a way to save her, but not bc they just refused to do so? bc they thought it was legitimate for her to die??? hello what.

there’s this post going around about bela that i think is overlooking major points...

dean’s response to bela is not because he’s cruel or unsympathetic or because he sees her as subhuman. yes, she betrays them and toys with them, she shoots sam, she’s a thorn in their sides, and morally she represents a real issue because she’s in it for herself, she potentially endangers people for her own gain and that’s not something condonable from his point of view (i say this adoring bela, but fandom really wants to make her less than she is by whitewashing her actions, when her amorality is what makes her great). WE get to see the horror of her childhood abuse, he doesn’t. if he had that same vision, he absolutely would’ve felt differently about what she did, but as it is, he sees her as having made a demon deal to kill her parents and erroneously assumes it’s poor little rich girl whose parents maybe didn’t let her do what she wanted. he doesn’t have the full picture, we can’t blame him for partial knowledge. this is someone who has actively tried to kill them, stolen from them (the colt, no less, which could potentially have saved them), and lied to them on multiple occasions.

meanwhile, he made his deal to save the person he loves most in the world. he’s terrified of going to hell and on some level knows he doesn’t deserve it, but the walls are closing in and he’s not going to get out. i saw someone say he should’ve understood her because of john...? and that’s fundamentally missing a key component of how dean compartmentalizes and how dean has to cope with that relationship. i know everyone hates that he loves john in the same breath when he can say his father was an obsessed bastard, but sometimes things aren’t as simple as “this person abused and damaged me and i would kill them myself,” sometimes people hurt us and we KNOW it was terrible and we still love them anyway, and it becomes something we’re constantly battling and reframing. the show did not always handle this well in later seasons, but it handled the struggle of it perfectly in S1-3.

edit: as vicky astutely clarified, “he also doesn't WANT to think of what her actual reasons could have been imo bc of his own john issues and because at this point it's easier to keep seeing her as a monster.”

moreover, his disgust at bela is not about bela. maybe it should be (not meaning disgust here, but rather, maybe he should be able to separate that and measure how he sees her differently), but it isn’t. it’s about dean himself, and his self-loathing and projection of how he sees himself. “you are so damaged,” and she says, “takes one to know one,” and she’s right and he is AWARE of this. she represents his own issues, his own belief that he shouldn’t be alive, his own desperation in making that choice, his own frustration that he’s in this situation, and maybe he can’t be saved and maybe he shouldn’t be. it’s not as much a condemnation of her as it is one of himself.

there’s also the real world practicality of the writers knowing a certain section of fandom unfairly hated her and wanted her gone (and i wish that hadn’t happened, but her time was well-utilized and at least she was never ooc or made into another character entirely), but she serves an important narrative purpose and that’s getting weirdly lost in discourse lately.

the “another cinderella s” doc is a jason/percy au (and is titled Like That bc i’m a moron). i actually have most of it written, but i got stuck trying to figure out an ending. i basically wrote it as a way to make fun of high school me thru jason. 

this part made me laugh out loud reading it for the first time in a year:

From across the computer lab, their teacher makes a vague shushing noise. They’re supposed to be working on a research project while he catches up on grading, but the open doc on Jason’s screen is still blank, and Piper is working on this month’s newspaper. He has always wondered how she manages to edit so many pages so quickly. Jason needs to put his essays through at least three different grammar checking software to make them even a little coherent.

“Fine.” Piper taps the dull end of her pen against the monitor, pretending to consider it before saying, “Plan B, then.” 

Immediately: “No.” 

Piper spares him an exasperated glance. “You know, just because you have a crush on Percy doesn’t mean you have to hide from him.” 

“It’s not a crush. I just—“ He pauses. “He has nice hands.”

the last one is my favorite!! i’ve been obsessed w bela for sooo long, but i haven’t gotten very far w this concept at all. my rough idea is that this takes place in the later seasons, probably somewhere mid-s11, where bela slips out of hell during the messy transition from crowley to casifer’s rule, and she goes looking for the winchesters. she’s heard a rumor, in the depths of the pit, that they know a recipe to change her back into a real girl. 

this is everything i have written: 

Hell is the favorite block on the Monopoly board. It has exchanged hands over the last few centuries more times than Bela has bothered to keep track of. But now the demons are whispering amongst each other. They say the Devil has escaped his cage and is rooming with an angel, which means he has wasted no time in dethroning Crowley. 

Bela can almost feel it. Hell crackles with something new, something bright blue and electric, humming with an anger Bela has never experienced before. The taste of it in the air speaks of something ancient. 

So Bela is getting the fuck out of dodge.

It takes months to find the people she’s looking for. 

Escaping Hell nearly destroyed her, and she hasn’t walked on Earth in centuries. She had to bang through solid ice to break out of the last circle of Hell, so her claws are coated black, stiff with the cold. 

The sun beats down on her. The asphalt under her hands sizzles with the heat. Her best guess is somewhere south. Unless it’s summer. In that case, she could be anywhere from Indiana to Arizona, in which case she’s royally fucked. 

But, for now, she turns on her back and looks up at the blue sky, and smiles to herself.

Bela Talbot is literally the most sympathetic antagonist on SPN. Like her whole origin story wasn't even villainous it was self-defense, she was a literal child who was manipulated into selling her soul in exchange for protection from her abusive parents. So what if they died bc of it, fucking good for her, it wasn't like a revenge killing it was LITERALLY just so they wouldn't be able to abuse her anymore.

Then beyond that she was honestly pretty tame as a villain, aside from trying to kill them like once all she did was kind of inconvenience the Winchesters at most. She didn't even help start the apocalypse.

And then she dies and this is WHEN we are learning more about how demons are created, the show hasn't forgotten it's own canon yet. And look, Bela spent her whole life looking out for #1, it's not gonna take long for her to get off the rack and start torturing other souls to protect herself. Bela would be a demon within like a year of her dying.

So WHY didn't she come back?? They wouldn't even need the same actress! She's a demon, she could be played by anyone! She would've been so good as like a recurring character who is an ally or an enemy depending on which way the wind blows that episode. God we really could've had it all.

who was a character that you hated at first but grew to love? Sam. After pirating TV from the neighbor so I could watch Survivor and accidentally coming across SPN and watching 75% of that Devil May Care, I torrented the first 4 seasons. I’d seen gifs and read a few fics and even wrote my own, but I hadn’t seen the show, and the Sam that I was (not-really-at-all) familiar with was not at all like first season!Sam. My expectations and illusions were destroyed and honestly, I couldn’t stand him. Then Asylum happened and I finally understood where he was coming from. Plus I didn’t take myself too seriously bc I long ago figured out that the characters in books and TV and movies that I disdain are usually the most like me, or ones I had something to learn from. 

which character would you most want to be in a long-term relationship with? Donna. God, isn’t she just a fucking peach? I like silly, happy people, plus I bet she tastes like a peach, too.

what would you do on the date? We’d go somewhere nice. which “big bad” do you think was the worst? Gonna go with the “lame” interpretation of this and say Amara. I just could not get into her in the least. Her creep-on-Dean factor was pretty high though, which I can get behind.

what death hit you the hardest? Jo and Ellen. They were both so brave. I cry every time. 

what season finale hit you the hardest? Weird, ik, but the end of S6 bc I had no fucking clue what was going to happen next, like I literally could not fathom for the life of me what the actual fuck. Sam was all fucked up! Cas was God? Dean and Sam and Bobby were all in immediate danger from their now possessed friend??? What the hell even were the Leviathans??! I think I actually made some hurt baby deer noise when the episode ended. That, and S1, I remember jumping out of my seat when Baby got creamed, totally did not expect that, and Sam was being such a boss standing up to his dad and looking back at Dean and BAM!! Awesome.

who’s your favorite supporting actor? Jim Beaver. Him and baby horses are pretty much the only reason I go on facebook.

what do you hope to see in the next season? I have zero desires. I got 90% of what I wanted in the season finale this time, so fucking just whatever is fine with me. Okay okay god that’s a shitty cop out answer. I want Castiel to fucking stay dead. At least our version of Cas. If they wanna bring out some nutso crazy badass Rift!Cas, cool, whatever, okay. Please Kill Mary. Or leave her in the Rift, idc., just god, go away. Unless you’re gonna make Dean cry more >.>

How I feel about this character

I can’t believe she’s from spn bc hello?????? How is she so great. I think I went off about her once about how basically I kept expecting spn to undermine her powers with new characters showing up etc. But they didn’t and she’s like.... she’s the most powerful witch. She survived Lucifer twice. She brought HERSELF back from the dead. She’s QUEEN of Hell.

She’s so bitchy and even when she’s TFW’s friend she doesn’t suddenly become super soft or anything.

She’s introduced by drinking tea with dead people stuck on her ceiling. I am in love with her. I want her to be my mom.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

I don’t think I ship her romantically with anyone tbh?? None of the people she’s been set up with in canon bc she’s arospec lesbian actually. Oscar was mistaking being grateful with romantic love ; Lucifer was worshipping power and rebellion ; Gabriel was about sex ; Ketch was being bored by the end of the world. I’ve heard some people ship Rowena with Sam but Sam is her apprentice I can’t see it at all. 

BUT I’ve been introduced to Rowena/Mary and honestly I’m listening very closely!!! I love the potential of it. It’s not smth I ship like... strongly. But it’s the ship with Rowena that I enjoy the best, and tbh the only ship with Rowena I enjoy actually! Rowena is girlboss4girlboss!!

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I’m gonna say Rowena & Jack’s dynamic. She sees him and goes “ok you are my nephew now” and she IS. She’s his aunt!!!!

I loved what they did with Sam getting into magic and the Lucifer thing. And I love Rowena & Dean dynamic bc she is the mother of his ex and it’s funny. And I love Rowenna & Cas dynamic I want more of that!!

But what makes me feel the most was truly the way Rowena handled Jack after his meltdown. No shade to Mary but she truly handled the autistic kid very very badly. Whereas Rowena respected his space, heard him out, stayed calm, all while slowly pushing him into talking to TFW bc that was the thing to do in this situation. And ig a lot of it was intended as like... Rowena realizing Jack’s power and not wanting to risk dying?

But I truly see it as Rowena caring for Jack bc she can see he’s just a boy, and being able to... see that forcing his hand won’t work at all with Jack. Like she sees the kid, but she sees the person, and each person has their own way to react to things. She’s not infantillizing him in the “I know best listen to me” way.

And maybe it reminds her of Fergus and how bad a mother she was, and here it’s a way for her to.. not to make it up, but to do better. I think Rowena would be a good mother actually - if she had a kid because she wanted to, and now that she’s learned love isn’t weakness.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I have no idea what would be unpopular lmao. I haven’t seen Rowena posts which pissed me off (yet?). I just think she’s perfect and never did anything wrong and the Rowena & Crowley dynamic is truly one family dynamic spn nailed. When she appeared I was like “omg boring the evil mother another redhead blablabla” but joke’s on me!!!!!!

Her makeups & outfits are always so epic honestly Rowena....... I wanna be your apprentice teach me the girlboss ways. If I was a demon in Hell and Rowena was queen? I’d prob have a fling with her and she’d break my heart and I’d thank her.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I don’t have specific things bc honestly the fact she survived all the show is already like.... everything I could have asked for. Especially with her queen of Hell ending.

However what I want is: a girlboss evil team spin off. Rowena & Ruby & Meg & Bela (as a demon by now).

It’s wayward sisters but with these extremelly morally grey characters. They kill abusers but not only. They’re manipulating people to get what they want. They mostly just wanna survive ; it’s fight or flight, not revenge. They drink wine and paint each other nails and gossip about hunters. It’s not a “life was a bitch with me so I’m gonna be a bitch”. It’s more a “idc about anything but helping myself bc you only have yourself in this life”. But then they have each other <3 And idk there’s some plot about Hell or hunters or whatever and they see Mary often I think Mary would join the team eventually.

Belphegor is a regular side character bc I love him and I also think Rowena would make him her nephew in 0.2sec. Some others can also appear from time to time but it’s not their show it’s about evil-ish sapphics.
