among many haunting things in naruto I am haunted by the fact that the uchiha symbol is STILL on the police station building even in boruto. like. imagine going to work as a policeman for konoha  post massacre (what was THAT recruiting process like) with the uchiha symbol on your work building when konoha massacred them because they planned a coup after being ostracized BY being like. assigned cop at birth or whatever. except you don’t even know it because it was covered up by konoha.

My Unpopular Opinions About Naruto Anime
Uchiha:
I have mixed feelings about Itachi. But as a brother , he is worst . Before , you all say that all he did was for Sasuke , hear me out. All his plans for Sasuke , failed terribly. I hold him responsible for ruining Sasuke 's youth completely. I don't know what he thought while traumatizing and manipulating him , that emotionally hurting him and then sowing seeds of hatred and vengeance will make him stronger in coming future? Even before massacre, I didnt get his reasoning for Not training with Sasuke. Itachi might be a loyal to Konoha and talented Shinobi , but as brother he is a failure.
Obito wasn't a simp and Rin wasn't the ONLY reason for him to turn evil . Yes ,her death was a major reason . After Rin's death , he started believing Madara's pessimistic view about Shinobi World. The reason for him turning evil , was Madara's manipulation which came to fruition with Rin's death.
I don't have problem with Obito being 'talk-no jutsu-ed ’ by Naruto
Tobirama was a racist.
I understand his reasoning for hating Uchihas during Warring state Era , as Senju and Uchiha have been fighting from ages. Uchihas killed his clansmen and family , considered . But it was two way thing, even Senju did the same thing right? Hashi and Madara created Konoha to stop the wars and hardship Shinobi had to live with, even as a child. It was all about compromise, collobrate and co-operate, which Uchiha and Senju could have done slowly as both of them wanted peace
,
I believe . Tobirama forming Police Force , to keep Uchiha's out of influence of the government and creating headquarter in remote area due to his mistrust was wrong . As a Hokage , he had to be rational, and NoT take decisions according to his personal feelings towards something. His actions were guided by his perosnal feelings towards Uchiha Clan. He had to consider them as a part of vilage as much as Senju were. Konoha was new start , a village formed as a sign of peace , and to maintain and sustain the peace he and the leaders had to forgo the past and form a new future of peace that both the clans and all the Shinobi wanted in general. Unlike , Hashi Tobirama wasnt willing to give a chance to Uchiha and his mistrust indeed led to 4th Shinobi War
.As explained above , Uchiha 's dissatisfaction with government was completely justified. And I support coup d'état.
I like Fugaku Uchiha, I would have loved to see his backstory.
. Sasuke isn't a emo brat who was moulded for plot purpose. His actions were more or less result of piles lies and half-truth he was served. I undestand his motivation and reasoning for destroying konoha. What reason did he have NOT to destroy Konoha? What good did Konoha did to him? Ordered his brother to wipe off his complete clan and family? He just didn't blindly follow Itachi. After talking to Edo Itachi , he wanted to know what does it mean to be a Hokage , or village , why was his brother willing to do anything for village? He just didn't do things for no reason.
. Sasuke is my favourite character in Naruto. Dare I say, but I liked 5Kage Summit Arc Sasuke , though he was full of rage , he was complete badass .In the same day he fought Raikage and his subordinates , Gaara , invaded 5 Kage Summit, battled Mizukage and Tsuchikage, defeated Danzo and also dealt with Team7 . It was quite impressive IMO.
I like Uchiha Clan, though I admit they are bit OP , especially their Sharingan Abilities
Plot:
I liked the War Arc , atleast the first half. It felt like a real war going on , where all the Shinobi are united , fighting at different fronts. Talking about second part, I feel it was messed up , especially the eye 'parcing the parcel’ thing.
Kaguya , Raikdou Senin , Indra , Ashura weren't out of nowhere , Raikdou Sennin was refrenced many times in Shippuden. And this story indeed gave the reason for Uchiha -Senju fights , origin of Shinobi , chakra and ninjutsu. But deep down I feel that making Naruto-Sasuke Indra-Ashura re incarnates was unnecessary.
Female Characters:
I belive the female characters are often sidelined and aren't given major role in the storyline as the males.
Again , the female characters could have been written better ,with their own time to shine.
I consider Karin's backstory nothing more than a head cannon . Its in the Tsukuyomi FILLER arc and so I don't consider it canon, as its not present in Manga.
I like Karin and Sakura's Friendship. I like the way they respect each other. Though it isnt shown on screen , it's good to know that they are friends than having ill will towards each other ..
I do not think Sakura is treated as main character, really , compared to Naruto and Sasuke who play pivotal role in the storyline , Sakura is playing role in background.(Unlike her mother , I wish Sarada gets adequate devlopement and major role in story)
I am not really fond of female characters in Naruto. As of the main female character , Sakura , I am neutral towards her tho I have many problems with her character . I like Kushina .
I don't really like Hinata. I am not fond of excessively shy girls anyway.
Hinata had many possible way to grow as a character and Shinobi , but alas she didnt.(atleast not upto my expectation) She did came for a girl always watching Naruto’s back to a girl who could be upfront about her feelings And try to walk together with Naruto, I appreciate that .
I feel ,she would have been better off , if her charcater or rather her role in the story wasn't centered to N-Naruto-Kun. I'd really like if she had became the clan head , and bring a reform in the clan , as she witnessed the problems related to the clan , especially the main and side branch. With Byakugan and now Hamura's chakra she could have done wonders , but Boruto isnt treating her well.
Sakura:
She doesn't deserve the hate she gets. 80% of people hate her due to some misconception about her character. She is mostly subjected to double standards by the community.
I think the major problem with her character is how her devlopement goes to and fro , a fine example is Land of Iron Arc . All her devlopement in Shippuden was curbed in the snow.
In my opinion she is far more competent and achieved many things at the age of 17 compared to other kunoichi of her age.
Sakura wanking is just out of the world. Her wankers or whatever need to stop over-praising her and create false post to make her seem great .
I do not find her punching Naruto as funny , sometimes it's fine but over doing it makes it irritating. Nonetheless , I understand that Kishi added as a comic relief and it shouldn't be taken seriously.
Her bond with Naruto and Sasuke is highly underrated. While , I understand this because how her character goes to peak and then falls.
Talking about Naruto and Sakura Friendship , Sakura was amongst the first few people to acknowledge him and supported his dream of being Hokage , OUT LOUD.
Despite having crush on Sakura , Naruto acknowledged that her feelings will be directed wholly and solely towSasuke . He acted like a support and reassurance when Sasuke left the village.
Both of them support , acknowledge and praise each others abilities
Though what Sakura did was completely wrong in Land of Iron Arc, her intention was to help Naruto, and stop burdening him from the promise. Same way, she wanted to kill Sasuke , so that he doesn't dwell in darkness even more.
About , Sasuke and Sakura…well Sakura was annoying fangirl at start , but she did grow up from that, I admit at start her image of Sasuke was highly superficial , but the image shattered down slowly, first in the Land of Waves.
The notion of Sasuke being jerk towards Sakura comes from the fact he is brutally honest and blunt . Sakura was annoying at start, and as a Shinobi she was even behind Naruto , she could have utilize the time for training ,than flirting with Sasuke. He said this in front of her , and it was true. He was being completely honest with her
Sasuke wasn't rude, arrogant, uncaring , unkind towards Sakura at start. Infact, it was quite opposite . He cared about her a lot, and considered her to be a precious person who he didn't wanted to lose , yet again. He had been vulnerable and unguarded infront of Sakura many times. He opened up first time about the massacre and also the Otsutsuki threat (not directly tho) to Sakura. Unlike other girls , Sasuke didn't push off Sakura rather allowed her to touch him physically. He did acknowledge her ability and also was thankful for her love & genuinely sorry for the pains she had to go thro bcoz of him.
Though Sakura's crush at start was superficial and she was a fangirl, she really started loving him , and her love for Sasuke indeed help her grow as a character. It was one of the driving force for her to get strong.
Ships:
I ship Sasuke and Sakura. I am completely okay with people not liking this ship
Even though I am die hard SasuSaku shipper , I feel NaruSaku did make sense. I don't understand why many fans claim it's absurd and wierd. Naruto had a legit crush on Sakura and they had more screen time than the canon ship. Having said that , Kishi himself teased the ship many times. It completely make sense people shipping them. Its way better than shipping an adult and child or people who didnt even have conversation or met each other. I know that many crazy people gave death threats to Kishi and all , but we can't generalize all the shippers ,right?I have seen NaruSaku shipper being completely fine with them being just best friends in Boruto. But that DOESN'T mean that I validate or support hideous and bizzare questions and theories, like Naruto/Sakura should ditch their respective partners etc etc.
Instead of Naruto seeing Genjutsu and realising his love , they could have added more NaruHina moments in Shippuden and make him realise that he loved Hinata.
I like Yahiko and Konan &MinaKushi.
General Characters:
I don't like Jiraya. His perverted personality rub me off the wrong way. As a Sensei , I think he was a bit irresponsible. While he actually taught Naruto, Summoning , dispelling genjutsu , and Rasengan but all the important things like Sennin mode and Nine tails mode was learnt after his death. Honestly , his death was not that emotional for me as for many other fans , for me it was like any other Shinobi dying.
Jiraya is overrated and over-gratified
I am not that fond of Neji either , again his death wasn't emotional for me.
Kakashi wasn't a good sensei at all , even he was irresponsible and ignorant. Unlike popular belief , I dont see him as a father-figure to either memebers of Team 7.
Naruto and Sasuke 's friendship is one of the most well written and devloped relationship. I don't have any qualms with Naruto going lengths to save Sasuke .
Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura are misunderstood by many fans.
I do not like the Hyuga Clan
Naruto is a good protagonist.
Naruto-Kurama bond is underrated.
Naruto- Shikamaru werent best friends /childhood friends. Thanks to fillers people consider him to be Naruto's ‘ real friend ’ who was there with him since childhood.
Suigetsu was wierd but amusing.
Tsunade was a good Hokage and I feel she isn't credited enough
Thank you!

Gentle Reassurance
Gentle Reassurance Fandom: Naruto Pairing: SasuSaku Summary:AU A small story that gives a bit of backstory for Sasuke in my upcoming Superhero AU. AN: Had this finished roughly six months ago, I think. Now that I have a post date in mind for the story it pairs with, I figured it should be posted to whet the appetite. :3
Sasuke Uchiha understands the idea of guilt better than almost anyone he knows.
As a child, Sasuke had wanted to be a firefighter. He had told his father this once, voice filled with all the enthusiasm and giddiness contained in his little body, and his father had looked at him thoughtfully. “Why do you want to be a fire fighter?” He had asked after a pause too long to be normal, but brief enough that it was unable to qualm the young boy’s excitement.
“So that I can save everybody!” Sasuke had responded in a heartbeat.
And Fugaku Uchiha, seasoned police chief, had answered, “If that is what you want, remember one important fact, Sasuke; you cannot save every person every time.”
He had been puzzled and disheartened by the comment at the time. After all, what does a child really know about life and adulthood, about the consequences that can befall those with responsibility weighing them down? Years and many loses later, Sasuke understood what exactly his father had meant. Those words were not said to end Sasuke’s desire to pursue that career path, but rather a forewarning of one of the more painful realities to said profession. As he grew up he saw how his work effected his father; the dark shadows under his eyes, the long distant stares, and the way he would flinch when news reports involving the police came on screen. Sasuke watched the flickers of anger and guilt cross his father’s eyes as the reporters berated the police force on failing to protect innocent civilians.
Fugaku Uchiha was a man proud of what he’d accomplished, proud of his career, and Sasuke admired that confidence in his father. He could see, however, how the way the media talked about their mistakes affected his father. After all, many people let what they read and heard color their reality of a situation. But when the media only highlighted what they felt was important – which was typically only half of what was actually relevant to understand a situation – it bred mistrust and animosity. Many a time Fugaku had been publically criticized and hackled because of what the media presented about his profession. It was this display that led Sasuke to become interested in media coverage and how it operated. He became passionate about becoming a figure in the media circuit that gave the public the full story – as opposed to just what made for good ratings – and ended up becoming a journalist with the most popular paper in their city of Konoha.
It was his personal feelings and experiences with his father that made it so easy for him to sympathize with his girlfriend, Sakura Haruno.
Despite the two of them being the same age and Sasuke having worked at the newspaper for a little over a year now, Sakura was still a student on top of working as a pediatric nurse at a nearby hospital. Sakura was going back to further her education, aiming for a doctorate, while taking advantage of having a degree that permitted her to work in the field. “This way, I’ll have the chance to establish a good reputation for myself so that getting into a good position once I have the doctorate will be easier,” She had explained. It made sense to him but he knew how hard it was for her to keep up the balance between school and work.
Especially given that Sakura was passionate and dedicated to her work; ergo, she tended to become attached to the children she worked with. And that wasn’t always a good thing. Sasuke learned very quickly that when something bad happened at work, Sakura would keep it bottled up inside and put on a brave face. She would hold it in and let it tear her to shreds, slowly and agonizingly, until she would just fall into an anxiety attack. The first time it happened Sasuke had been stunned, having never seen his girlfriend so completely rattled, but rebounded and managed to calm her down enough to talk about the issue. At that time, one of the children that had been in recovery had just gotten his latest test results back and they’d found his cancer had returned. Sakura felt terrible because the family had been so happy about how his health was improving and the news had been a devastating blow. She talked about the horror of watching the light fade from the child’s eyes as he realized he’d need to resume treatments that left him ill and miserable.
To try and help deal with this problem, Sasuke had managed to get himself warmed up to one of the elderly nurse’s that Sakura worked with to get updates on when she’d had a tough day. The older nurse would typically call him and let him know if there was anything that had happened with a patient of Sakura’s; without relaying any information that breached doctor-client confidentiality, of course. Sasuke would then take a few steps on his end to help her at home.
He knew that poking or prodding at her would only frustrate her, push her to lash out. For all her empathy and care, Sakura did tend to have a short fuse when she was sporting a sore spot. So he would take a gentler approach that had always yielded positive results. He would make sure dinner was ready and waiting when she got home – and avoid the subject of how work went at the dinner table – and have a carton of the green tea ice cream she loved on stand-by. They would watch whatever she wanted while they had the ice cream and he’d let her take a shower first. And once they were settled in bed, he’d just pull her to him wordlessly. She would turn and burrow into him and she would most likely fess up to what was eating at her.
And he would just listen to her, no judgment or chatter, because he knew that was all she needed.

Mafia Au MasterList: Main Characters Backstories
Kakashi Hatake- Son of old Police Chief Sakumo Hatake, Kakashi saw his father murdered by a sniper when he was 5 years old. Went into the foster system after that and bounced between orphanages, foster homes, and living on the street. Was found by Shikaku when he was 12 years old, after helping to protect Shikaku’s friend Inoichi from some of Danzo’s thugs
Rin Nohara- Raised in a rural home by parents who never viewed her as good enough, Rin struggled to be recognized for her intelligence and abilities. Finally proved to her parents that she was good enough by finding a way to poison them, leaving them to die in their family home and running off to the big city where she met Obito and ultimately ended up becoming his future wife and partner in the Uchiha Gang.
Obito Uchiha- Raised in the Uchiha gang, Fugaku always focused on Obito’s ability to be a great right-hand man to him and in the future Itachi. Is skilled with a gun, in a fistfight and at retrieving information through torture (though not as good as Itachi at the last one)
Maito Gai- Gai was raised by his father until he was 13 years old when Dai crossed paths with some of Danzo’s men demanding ‘protection pay’ from an old man who owned a store. Dai got into a fight with them to protect the old man and ended up being killed in front of his son. Shikaku found Gai after hearing about Danzo’s men in his area threatening his community. Gai is hiding in the old man’s shop while the old man explains to Shikaku what happened, and when Shikaku goes to leave the old man asks what he should do about the kid who just watched his dad die to protect him. Shikaku decides then and there to take Gai in and partner him up with Kakashi
Tenzo Yamato- Found as a kid by Danzo after running away from a physically and sexually abusive foster parent, Tenzo was raised in Danzo’s gang to be an enforcer and in the future to replace Danzo as mob boss when he was ready to step down. Tenzo was Danzo’s right-hand man until Danzo decided to send him to kill Kakashi Hatake after Shisui’s failed attempt, at which point Tenzo found himself being roped in by Kakashi and Gai to join Shikaku’s gang instead where he finds a much more comfortable and relaxing life with them.
Itachi Uchiha- Raised by his father in the Uchiha gang, Itachi became fed up when his father wouldn’t let him test his abilities. With Congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP), Itachi never experiences any type of pain growing up which worried Fugaku because Itachi is unlikely to know when he is badly injured and needs to back down and get medical help. Because of this Fugaku is extremely protective of his son and unwilling to let Itachi do many risking jobs, leading to Itachi leaving his father's Gang to join Danzo’s alongside Shisui. (Made by @itachi-uchiha-deserved-better )
Shisui Uhciha- Feeling unchallenged by Fugaku’s insistence that he learn to be Itachi’s right-hand man and main protector, Shisui leaves the Uchiha gang for Root where Danzo is more than happy to give him a sniper rifle and let him learn to kill from a distance. Shisui excels as a sniper and becomes one of the best in the business, only having one failure to kill on his Record, Kakashi Hatake. When Itachi joins Danzo’s gang, Shisui becomes his protector in a way that is much more fitting for him. As a sniper watching Itachi’s back from afar while he works on his interrogations. (Made by @uchihashisui-kun )
