also for Fox and Ice, i think Fire and Shrike will still be their parents! and either Shrike chooses to not take on Jay as an apprentice because he wants more time with his kits, plus he knows Fire is stressed out with kits and leading. Or Shrike does get Jay as an apprentice but Jay is a little shit to Shrike just like he is to Brightheart but learns to stop that!
