Me at 13, reading Unbroken (Nobundo's short story) and getting traumatized by like all of it is why WoW has an age restriction
#Nobundo was my fav char when I was a kid I was obsessed with him#I think cause of how that story kinda made me feel terrible#i found comfort in him as a char#i have to say until that point i wasn't exposed to very violent material#because I didn't know english so the things I did read and watch were in my language#and my parents could see what i consume#and i played stuff like adventure quest worlds and dragonfable before wow#and i think unbroken is genuinely a story with some of the darkest wow writing#its in the implications sure#but they are VERY implied#and i had no business reading that at 13#I think that even wow retconned some of the things the orcs did in that#like they soft retconned the very much implied mass R word
