I wish someone told me when I was younger that getting better at art also would mean that I'd make less of it
#bastspeaks#thinking abt how i dont doidle as much anymore n realizing its bc ive improved past the point where#characters on an empty background 3/4ths view is no longer my comfort zone#and im comfortable invisioning and creating much more dynamic pieces which invariably require#more time n effort#however its true that i still didnt make many big pieces to 'compensate'#i think its just that i have to keep the drawin muscles warm#so i think this year ill make an effort to do studies or doodles that are still engaging and fun to draw#i might draw a lot of naked/half naked guys. im excited for this actually
