If you really want to see a movie where the people making it fought an uphill battle the entire time.

Where time constraints and budget constraints and uncaring studio management interfered constantly, and yet against all these odds and without any support a quite decent film was the result.

Where the pretext and concept of the film were decided before writers or other creatives even became involved and it was up to them to make something workable from it.

And they did, they fought and they won.

Because that movie is Tinkerbell from 2008 and by god it is a thousand times a thousand times better than it has any right to be and damn am I impressed by the people who worked on it.
