i think race in hockey is a bigger discussion that we Need to constantly be having and acknowledging the rampant racism within the league and within fandom. but i think acting like Literally Hockey Blorbo Polls That Uses Tumblr User Voted Data is the nexus of evil and racism in this fandom when it's is a very real and serious issue in the ACTUAL LEAGUE and in fandom in more tangible and negatively impactful ways is weird and a waste of all of our times and energies

#like you guys are directing your anger at the wrong thing. the issue originates from the fact that there ARE so few players of color #IN THE FIRST PLACE #the blog is just a vessel for what fandom is saying/voting. they are not responsible for what guys people like on this website #how abt we talk abt this very real mistreatment and unfair biases surrounding these players of color #and not the seeding that is based on a preexisting system using user voted data and No Personal Interference #also would it not b weirder to interfere to make sure players of color progress / are not put up against beloved white guys .. like come on #at the end of the day its BLORBO POLLS ... can we discuss something actually MEANINGFUL instead of getting mad at LITERALLYY BLORBO POLLS #yap yap yapping
