i like when the show portrays his difference in perspective as more than just the whole toxic masculinity colonizer thing
#personal#this and the scene where he goes to some other dimension where they all age way faster. so nolan's probably added 50 years in 4 hours and#is unaffected by it#and not to talk abt trigun but i wish vash or knives did this#the 90s show has great worldbuilding and the first 2 vols of the manga establish the series well#i'd love to hear a plant say smth similar#the closest vash gets is talking abt how they came to gunsmoke and the kid was like ??i was born here... and then vash is like oh yea woops#anyways the whole scene is good bc right after she talks abt him being a dick. and he's just like 'i got better'#and she says he got a 2nd date bc he saved some kids#like why was he even saving people in the first place. to be like 'look woman. i can also fly u across the planet. wanna make my babies?'#he ends the scene tho w saying they should all blindly trust him (after he just lied to her) and its like booo#walter white ass
