my friends are so fucking smart and cool and kind
#they don't have this tumblr#well... one of them does#(hi k!)#and really this should go in our lovechat#but anyway they have convos sometimes where i'm just like. in awe#they're SO! good!#such good good people out existing in this world#and i am so lucky and grateful to be their friend#for the record they were worldbuilding and it turned into a discussion about what institutions owe their society#was the very bare bones gist of it#it's also convos like these where i'm like 'ah yeah academia is A Thing huh'#my day to day is pretty corporate agency based#so to have a bunch of nerds (affectionate) and academics as friends is like. yeah the world is vast#fuji chats
