Some skating au ideas (well costume ideas because i love costumes)

this post has inspired me a long time ago and i took Reigen's janky style from there and emotional skating for Mob to deal with his feelings. Then together with my friend we had fun developing some thoughts, they are below!

Reigen is a self-taught skater who developed a unique style with zero elegance but with constant blasts of energy (really sweaty). Mob is gradually opening up thanks to this freedom, accepting his own emotions and learning how to express their beauty in a performance, gaining confidence.

Teru and Mob meet just before one competition, probably practicing. Asshole Teru starts showing off, then tries to scare his opponent away (he usually does that to make sure his "rival" completely loses heart before competition even starts). Teru gets carried away which leads to a haircut with a skate blade..

Ritsu was envying his brother's skills for a long time and secretly practicing a lot on small rinks in malls. I'm not sure how to put Ekubo in the story, but either with his help or just by letting his negative emotions out, Ritsu finally finds his own strength and pace.

I see Tome being non-esper translating to her just not performing. She skates a lot for fun and enjoys herself. Shou also doesn't usually care about competitions, but decides to perform with Ritsu (and his gang?) to prove his dad wrong, i guess. They meet on the mall rink and find out later to perfectly balance each other out!

Yes, this is a penguin they give kids on ice rinks. I see Serizawa being actually a good skater, but always afraid to lose balance and fail only in front of people. also this looks just funny to me (and please consider rockhopper penguin's eyebrows)

ok listen to me. i’m holding your hand and looking into your eyes ok? listen. reigen gets a call from one of the organizers of a local renaissance festival claiming that an actual dragon has been showing up. and reigen is like sure fine we’ll take care of it. and he’s like well maybe i should invite mob’s friends they’re all dorky kids aren’t they they’d probably want to come. so ummmm they all go to the renfaire and some of them are more decked out than others. teru is like full knight in shining armor. ritsu is just wearing a cape and a roguelike mask. mob has one of those feathered hats and a poet shirt. serizawa is dressed as gandalf (big naturals or not is up to your minds eye). reigen is wearing a really cheap party city “king” halloween costume that he got for 75% off. shou is dressed as naruto for some reason. anyway they get there and they vanquish the dragon which was just an evil spirit the whole time and when you have like several of the worlds most powerful espers in your group it’s over and done with in like 2 seconds flat. so they get to enjoy themselves for the rest of the festival. they split up and shou drags ritsu to get some mutton. mob and teru go on some of the rides and visit the shops and also they get their faces painted. serizawa and reigen end up in some goofy ass shenanigans somehow. spirits and such second company trip. are you listening to me.

So here’s a little background for the Sims!MP100 AU for those who are curious

So long story short I started a sims game with the discord chat where we all played by taking votes on what we wanted the characters to do. Here are a few important bullet points: 

-We got stuck in character creation for a while bc the chat spent a good half-hour arguing over the size of Reigen’s ass. Photo references were used in the debate.

-Mob has no parents for *reasons* and gets adopted by Reigen.

-There’s a lot of Dad!Reigen fluff involved in this.

-Dimple is the ugliest neon green cat you’ve ever seen. He likes to piss on Reigen’s bed.

-Reigen is trying his best to be a successful single dad but is utterly failing

-He’s currently unemployed and trying his best to make ends meet, but he’d rather die then let Mob know that.

-almost everything they own is second hand or a piece of junk

-They got their apartment for dirt cheap and found out later that they got the deal because the place is haunted. So now ghosts like to chill around sometimes and stuff

-There’s also a creepy plaque that they just can’t remove for some reason.

-One time a ghost stole Mob’s milk and the chat went absolute apeshit

-Mob was so scared by said Ghost that he had to sleep in Reigen’s room that night

-Pretty much Reigen is just a general disaster. He’s burned everything he’s tried to cook so far. He ate a bite of a neighbor’s fruit cake and puked it up. At this point he has no idea how to adult and desperately hopes nobody else can tell he’s faking it

-At one point one of the neighbors breaks into their apartment and refers to Reigen as “good-looking”. He calls reigen every few hours and stands outside his door to creeply sniff it. Everytime Reigen leaves the house the guy is just magically there. We don’t know his name so we just call him “creepy stalker dude”

-Mob, who’s the only one in the family slightly functional, makes a friend at school. 

-Her name is Billie. she's very odd and has a very strong interest in vampires. 

-For Halloween the chat decided to throw a halloween party with Billie. They also decided to dress Mob up in a giraffe costume, Dimple in a taco costume, and Reigen in a clown costume. 

-The clown costume was so ugly that Mob, and all the trick-or-treaters burst into tears upon seeing Reigen. And no I’m not making this shit up. For Mob’s sake we finally decide to change him into a pirate costume. 

-Mob’s already disastrous Halloween is completely and utterly ruined when Dimple runs away

-He spends the entire night crying himself to sleep

-Cue the most stressful in-game 24hours of Reigen running around San Myshuno trying to find the bastard in -10 F degree weather. The chat almost gives up on him, and tries to convince each other that we should just try and spray-paint another cat green and hope mob doesn’t notice.

-Dimple is finally found and reunited with the family. Tears are shed as Mob runs to give him a hug. Its so wholesome that you could jus- AAAaand he’s got fleas.

-oh well. At least Mob’s happy now

-We finally decided that Reigen, who is deeply in debt (and starving himself just so that Mob can eat), should get a job. He’s currently job hunting. (We’ll see how that goes.)
