#shut up magiccan#resident evil#leon kennedy#yes I’m gonna be lame and post my own Discord message#but yeah. in RE2R he’s a golden retriever of a man how the fuck did he get through police training#and in RE4R he’s still like. a good dude but he’s VERY hardened after everything that has happened#and yes the same could be said about the originals but RE2R does a much better job#at establishing how sweet and at times naive he is#and so far RE4R seems to be doing a much better job at exploring his trauma and how#the shit he has been through has affected him#before anyone comes after me. that’s not a dig at RE4#remakes SHOULD try to be different from the original and not replace them imo#and I can (and probably will) write a whole essay about that#not just games btw like. movie remakes too#resident evil 4 remake#re4r#resident evil 2 remake#re2r#leon s kennedy#leon scott kennedy
