#and some diagrams for the alternative light distributions

i get that this is semantics but i saw one of those bright car headlight hate posts again and had something on my mind about how they only mention LEDs? LEDs are fine and last forever which is why theyre great. there is nothing inherent about LED technology that makes it dangerous to other drivers.
the real problems are when:
companies sell cars with illegally bright headlights (GMC got in trouble for this which they just fixed with tape)
or companies being allowed to sell cars with low beams so high off the ground they might as well be high beams
people lifting their own cars with no requirement to physically lower the headlights
no enforcement of light levels of aftermarket kits and people installing them incorrectly so theyre angled up toward other drivers
allowing any color other than white for headlights. blue lights (associated with HIDs/xenon headlights) cause a lot more visual smudge and glare than white
headlamps can distribute light in ways where it doesnt veer off into oncoming traffic but this isnt required in america for some reason. idk why people wanna ban some random light technology when its regulation and subsequent enforcement thats the issue.

Why Short Stories Are More Creative Than Novels
Numerous exploratory writing specialists say that all that could be composed has been as of now composed, and all that is presently distributed is simply fundamentally a repeat of the normal, worn out plot lines and normal, worn out characters just with an alternate twist on them.
Furthermore, this is to some degree valid. Most of books are like that just in light of the fact that there's just a restricted measure of plots that can be contained in the requesting novel organization.
I have found through experience that the main arrangement that considers the outflow of genuine creativity is the brief tale, and to be more exact blaze fiction.
This is on the grounds that streak fiction isn't composed how most books are composed. Most books are arranged with a diagram and painstakingly determined. The logical left cerebrum rules the creative cycle of those books and this doesn't permit the author to make anything completely valid or special Brief tales are by and large written in a completelly different way. They are composed through freewiriting, the writer simply composes without hasitation or critisim of his message. In this cycle the scientific part of our cerebrum stop and we're ready to communicate genuine imagination and realness.
Furthermore, that is the reason they are turning out to be increasingly more famous in the commercial center. The customer is currently exhausted with the normal, worn out exhausting plots and needs something bona fide and new, and just brief tales can follow through on this commitment.
Additioanlly brief tales take into account undeniably more choices. You can easilly change a brief tale into a short film, and even into a film with some altering. (The film Candyman depended on an extremely brief tale by Clive Barker), books then again are long to the point that without transforming them significantly you can't put them on the big screen
So in synopsis brief tales are definitely more imaginative than books since they utilize the psyche mind in the creative cycle in a far more noteworthy manner, whilist books need to depend on the logical brain to push the essayist through the long and tedeious interaction of composing an extremely lengthy novel ( a novel must be no less than 50 000 words to be considered for distribution).

Standby Generator Installation Info, Prepartion & Examples
The constructing exhaust may be put in previous to installing generator set. • Generators located inside a facility – Often can have redundant backup. The bigger 20kw generator is capable of backing up the record above, operating 100amp service for electrical home equipment and HVAC using load administration. Plus, if the major home equipment are fuel, it could run a full 200amp service. This bigger whole-home generator covers all of the bases however does include a better common price, typically between $14,000 and $16,000. There are two main sizes of whole-home standby mills that most householders choose between, 12kw and 20kw .
The technicians of S&S Mechanical will come to your personal home during a power outage to perform the required upkeep. No matter where you are on Long Island, PowerPro Service Company is the most effective generator service firm near you. Automatic standby mills are complicated machines designed to work in emergency conditions. PowerPro has a team of extremely trained, manufacturing unit licensed technicians, able to take to the highway to keep diesel generator installation your lights on, your small business open or your manufacturing unit buzzing along. For a 208 VAC emergency provide system, a central battery system with automated controls, positioned within the energy station constructing, is used to keep away from long electrical provide wires. This central battery system consists of lead-acid battery cell units to make up a 12 or 24 VDC system as nicely as stand-by cells, every with its own battery charging unit.
Price out how much gas you’ll hold readily available and change it out periodically to gauge your cost of use. If you need another however cheaper way to connect the generator to the house panel with out utilizing a switch swap, an interlock kit is the answer. The following wiring diagram exhibits a portable generator is wired to the 120V/240V primary panel using handbook switch change. Generally, you could generator installation connect a 30 amp switch swap for up to 7500 watts generator while different sizes are additionally out there for residential functions. An alternate methodology for feeding the hearth pump from the generator is providing a feeder from a typical generator bus such as a distribution panelboard or switchboard. In this setup, the hearth pump feeder overcurrent device shall be energized when the docking station is powered from a temporary generator.
The last part of the process is to spray the concrete pad and let it treatment. Once the slab has had time to remedy and dry, your contractors can take away the picket frame from the sides and install your generator. With a strong concrete pad beneath it, your generator could have a safer, more steady surroundings to ship the power you want. Before you can have a generator put in, you should work with licensed professionals who can construct a concrete pad as a base. Before starting industrial generator installation, you’ll wish to make sure you have zoning and construction approvals There are multiple steps included in the development of a concrete pad that may differ relying on your scenario and wishes. Some mills won’t vibrate as a lot as others, so a simple rubber pad may suffice in some conditions, whereas others would require a more reliable technique like spring isolators.
Protect your house from the risks caused by sudden energy outages with a generator from Generac, the trade leader, put in by the specialists at Hobson Electric Co.. In the event of a power failure, these reliable methods mechanically start up, supplying electrical energy to your home until the native power utility restores service. Hobson Electric Co. has factory-trained technicians who meet Generac's high generator installations standards for service and buyer satisfaction. A Generac house backup generator is completely installed to help automatically defend your personal home in the event of an influence outage. The gear sits exterior of your home, much like your central air conditioning unit.
While there are arguments that the concrete pad might help increase the generator larger, even in flood-prone areas, water can often exceed these heights depending on geographical location and temperature climate. For $2,000 to $6,000, you can find a natural gas generator that can power your whole house . Natural gas is, total, an excellent choice for generators, since it’s cheaper than fuel or propane, and the generator can merely tap into your home’s current gas line.
In reality, Master Electrical started as a technically primarily based company serving the electrical wants of a local business. If you operate a business business and have the need for heavy electrical work, we're the skilled choice for the job. Choosing the right whole-home generator requires expertise and experience within the electrical requirements on your house. Whole-home generators aren't supposed to power every gadget in your house however only essentially the most crucial.
It runs on natural fuel or liquid propane gas and delivers power directly to your home’s electrical system. This helps be sure that your entire house or just the most essential techniques are backed up during an influence outage. With a Genearac residence backup generator, you don’t have to worry about going outside to begin or cease the generator.

Plant Facts! Part 2
There are 3 main types of plant tissue:
Dermal tissue- the outer protective coating. This is usually made up of a single layer of epidermal cells. The cuticle then covers this tissue with cutin. Some leaves also have spikelike projections called trichomes. The epidermis typically does not have chloroplasts, however guard cells are a noteable exception to this rule.
Vascular tissue- this tissue transports water and nutrients. There are 2 kinds: xylem (made of tracheids and vessel elements) and phloem (made of sieve tube elements and companion cells) more on them later.
Ground tissue- This includes all tissue that is not encapsulated by dermal or vascular tissue. There are 3 major types: parenchyma, collenchema, and sclerenchyma cells.
Parenchyma cells resemble the traditional plant cell. They add support and are found as mesophyll cells, epidermal cells etc. Collenchyma cells do not have secondary cell walls. A noteable example are the strings on celery. Sclerenchyma cells have thick primary and secondary cell walls, with the addition of lignin. They exist purely for support.
Xylem
As mentioned before, xylem is made of tracheids and vessel elements. The secondary cell walls have the addition of lignin to provide support. Xylem makes up wood. Xylem carries nutrients and water up from the soil without energy. They do this via transpirational pull and cohesion tension. Cohesion is the tendency of a molecule to be attracted to itself.
The transpirational pull-cohesion tension theory says: For each molecule of water that evaporates from a leaf by transpiration, another molecule is drawn in by the root to replace it.
How weather impacts transpiration:
High humidity slows transpiration
High wind increases transpiration
Increased light intensity increases transpiration
(Not weather) Closed stomates stop transpiration
Phloem
As mentioned before, phloem is made of sleeve tube elements, and companion cells. It transports sugar from the leaves to the plant body via translocation. This process requires energy.
Plant Reproduction
Firstly, plants can reproduce asexually. They can clone themselves, or use a method called vegetative propogation. This is noted in grafting, cuttings, bulbs, and runners.
Flowers are the sexual organs of the plant. They are hemaphrodites, meaning they contain reproductive organs of both males and females.
My diagram is very messy. I’m very sorry. I’ll probably fix it at some point.
Tumblr media
Pollination marks the beginning of reproduction. 1 pollen grain contains 3 haploid nuclei. 1 is a tube nucleus and 2 are sperm nuclei. The pollen grain attaches to the stigma. It germinates, creating a tube running down the style, into the ovary. The sperm will enter the ovule bia the micropyle. One sperm will fertilize the egg and become the embryo (2n). The other will fertilize the polar bodies, to become the triploid endosperm/cotelydon. (3n) This is the food for the embryo. This process is known as fertilization.
The ovule becomes the seed, and the ovary becomes the fruit. In monocots, the food remains in the endosperm? however in dicots, the food reserves are moved to cotelydons. The embryo is made of 3 parts; the hypocotyl, (the lower stem/roots), the epicotyl (the upper stem) and the radicle (embryonic root, the first to emerge from the seed)
Tumblr media
The sexual lifespan of a plant is marked by the alternation of generations, meaning it alternates between the haploid generation and diploid generation.
The gametophytes (n) produce gametes that fuse during fertilization to become (2n) zygotes. Each zygote becomes a sporophyte through mitosis, which become haploid spores through meiosis. Via mitosis, each haploid spore becomes a gametophyte.
Tumblr media
Here’s some vocab !
Antheridium- Structure that produces sperm, develops on the gametophyte
Archegonium- Structure that produces eggs, develops on the gametophyte
Gametophyte- Haploid adult plant
Megaspores- Made by female cones, become female gametophytes
Microspores- Made by male cones, become male gametophytes
Protonema- Branching, 1 cell thick filaments, made by germinating moss spores, become the moss gametophyte
Sporangia- Found on the tip of a mature sporophyte, where meiosis occure, creating haploid spores
Sporophyte- Diploid adult plant
Sori- Raised sports under sporophyte ferns, clusters of sporangia
In bryophytes like moss, the gametophyte is the dominant generation. The sporophyte receives its nutrients from the gametophyte generation, which gains its nutrients from photosynthesis.
In seedless, vascular plants, like ferns, the sporophyte generation is much larger than that of a bryophytes, and is independent. Both generations sustain themselves via photosynthesis
In advanced, vascular, seed plants, the sporphyte generation is much more dominant. In angiosperms, the gametophyte generation exists within the sporophyte generation and completely depends upon the gametophyte generation. In gymnosperms, the gametophyte generation comes from haploid spores within the sporangia.
Plant Hormones!
Hormones are responsible for coordinating growth, development, and response to stimuli. Some noteable hormones are:
Auxins
Phototropisms (a plants tendency to lean toward light) occur due to an unequal distribution of auxins
They enhance apical dominance (the tendency of a plant to grow vertically, not laterally). The terminal bud suppresses lateral growth by suppressing the growth of axial buds.
They stimulate stem elongation and growth by softening the cell wall
They were the first plant hormone found
Includes Indoleacetic acid (IAA) -naturally occuring and 24-D - man made weed killer
They are used as rooting powder as they help roots develop quickly.
A man made form of auxins are sprayed on tomato plants. This induces fruit production without fertilization, thus creating seedless tomatoes (yum)
Cytokinins
As the name suggests, cytokinins induce cytokinesis and cell division.
They delay senescence (a nerdy way to saying aging) as they inhibit protein breakdown.
Gibberellins
Gibberellins promote stem and leaf elongation.
They induce bolting, which is the rapid growth of a floral stalk. This is something commonly seen on plants like broccoli, where the plant will rapidly shoot out of the ground.
Abscisic Acid (ABA)
Along with sounding really freaking cool, abscisic acid halts growth, closes stomates and causes seed dormancy
This is useful during times of great stress such as during a drought.
Ethylene
Ethylene is a gas that induces ripening (and rotting). It also stimulates the production of ethylene in other plants. Basically, they make things great for everyone, but also spoil everything (mood)
Finally: tropisms. Tropisms are when plants move away from or towards a stimulus. Some examples are : thigmitropisms (touch), geotropisms/gravitropisms (gravity), and phototropisms (light)
So how do auxins cause phototropisms? Auxins build up in the shaded part of the plant. They induce growth, thus the plant grows and becomes heavy on the shady area. Thus the plant will bend.
Geotropisms are caused by the interaction between auxins and statoliths (specialized plastids containing dense starch grains)

Sangheili from Halo
i hadn’t heard of them until i googled them just now, but hoo boy / rolls up sleeves / im about to tear these bitches apart. this gets long af and there’s some gore in a screenshot of a dissected alien so i’m gonna put it under a cut.
i read their entire wiki page and to the creators’ credit they clearly wanted to create a rich, believable backstory for this race. they just like…..didn’t put any thought into basic physiology whatsoever.
as bored as i am of aliens that just have regular human-like mouths, there are literally thousands of variations in nature for mouths and mouth-equivalents/eating apparatus that designers can draw from. there is absolutely no reason why something would evolve a mouth like this
Tumblr media
design-wise, it’s certainly unique, but it makes absolutely no physiological sense. having multiple external jaws (the wiki refers to them as ‘mandibles’ and technically the word ‘mandible’ is used to describe the lower jaw, but in this context they are meant to resemble arthropod mandibles, which are used to cut and chew food, and i am about to argue that this terminology is therefore inaccurate) my theory based on my quick overview alone is that they might have been intended to pull food into their mouths, as inspired by a function unique to some species of snake. this diagram explains it well:
Tumblr media
examining the Sengheili with this concept in mind, it is clear that their ‘mandibles’ are too thin and too far detached from their skull to accommodate the necessary skeletal and muscular structure to make them functional for this purpose. so my judgement of the mandibles is that they’re stupid.
their nostrils are also too small to accommodate the lung size they’d need - like they literally wouldn’t be able to suck in enough air to properly oxygenate their blood. and speaking of their blood, the writers literally went out of their way to give them a binary vascular system (they have two hearts).
Tumblr media
i can excuse the off-colored and apparently tar-scented blood, since most earth creatures’ red blood color comes from hemoglobin (a protein interacting with iron, which reflects red light) and off-colored blood can be attributed to alternate protein-chemical compounds or any number of things. off-colored blood in aliens is one of my favorite design tropes, so i actually give them points for this, but they lose those points anyway on the binary vascular system. the Sengheili are supposed to be ‘saurian’, so i’m guessing this was inspired by the widely-unaccepted theory that some of the largest dinosaurs had two hearts to distribute oxygen throughout their massive bodies. however, the Sengheili aren’t nearly large enough to need this accommodation even if it was scientifically sound (after all, blue whales and elephants only need one heart apiece). so again, i think this is stupid. especially considering they go out of their way for it to be a Thing.
a final physiology flaw that irks me is their legs.
Tumblr media
i know i mentioned in my Star Wars aliens post that i really dig bipedal aliens with legs that aren’t just regular humanlike legs. so at first glance i thought this was a good idea on these guys, since their legs are really sturdy-looking as though they could support their weight and make sense for a recently-bipedal species. but if you look at the alignment of their knee vs their hock (technically the back of their heel), you can see that their weight doesn’t travel straight down their leg as would be necessary for bipedalism. they have the kind of legs like you’d see on a quadruped - like a dog or a horse. here’s a quick comparison on human anatomy vs dog anatomy:
Tumblr media
this is why quadrupeds have difficulty standing on their hind legs - the shape of their legs is perfect for distributing their weight across four legs, but when they rise up onto their hind legs, all their weight goes into their knees and the muscles of their thighs, which is a difficult position to hold. this is the position in which the Sengheili stand, with all their weight on their knees and thighs, and while i understand the impression is meant to be that they are a recently bipedal species, their societal history and advancement says otherwise, and the contrast is inharmonious. again, good intentions, but you made it stupid by trying to add bad science.
brief note on their armor - its not memorable. its just very basic, nothing unique about it. i suppose this is meant to speak to their focus on functionality as a Spartan society, but armor can be functional and still aesthetically appealing (see the Turians in Mass Effect or, hell, the Clone Troopers in Star Wars, who individualize their armor while still keeping its functionality and most of the uniformity).
ALL THAT SAID…

What is Stegos?
Stegos’s unique blockchain and token design make us the world’s first fully integrated crypto, completely immune to government surveillance. Other cryptocurrencies, even privacy coins, are missing crucial features and require users to expose their identity in various ways. But Stegos will let you buy and sell crypto, request and send payments and, crucially, talk to other Stegos users. All with complete anonymity, all with a single app and token (STG). Best of all, there will be no performance trade-off. In addition to these significant privacy advantages, Stegos is designed to be efficient, scalable, and environmentally sustainable. This article will explain more about what makes Stegos unique and explain why you should adopt Stegos as your primary crypto to reject surveillance and embrace your freedom! The need for Stegos The explosion in connected technology since the turn of the century has brought billions of people online. But it has also made it easier than ever for governments to spy on us. The rise of blockchain, end-to-end encryption and decentralized applications (DApps) seemed to offer a way to regain some freedom. By cutting out centralized authorities and improving encryption protocols, people thought they were getting back control of their money, messages, and privacy. Unfortunately, it’s not that simple. Public blockchains actually make it easier for government to spy on us: the details of every Bitcoin transaction are available online for everyone to see. When combined with governmental databases of other data, your public key might as well be your full name and address. For communications, we’ve got much better at protecting data — the actual content of what we send — but there are still enormous leaks of metadata: who’re you’re talking to, where, when and for how long. Governments use this to build a remarkably complete picture of your life. In fact, because they often can’t see the content of perfectly innocent messages, they now assume the worst about you. It shouldn’t be this way. Stegos gives you a way to take back control. Simply, securely and completely anonymously. Stegos: More than Just a Privacy Coin There are hundreds of privacy coins on the market. Why do we need another one? Well Stegos is more than just private transactions: it’s a complete platform for payments and messages. It’s also more secure and scalable than other privacy coins. Privacy coins have made great strides on the transaction front, but often at significant costs in terms of efficiency and security, with cumbersome encryption and bulky transactions. And they still haven’t solved the problem of onboarding: what’s the point of a completely private crypto if the government can see the metadata of you arranging your transactions via unsecured messaging services and you can only buy it by giving up all your personal details to an exchange? Stegos fixes these problems with a fully scalable and prunable blockchain and integrated messaging, all while obscuring every scrap of you data and metadata. Scalability Stegos is built to be faster and more efficient than other crypto. In fact, Stegos is designed to be so efficient, we plan to provide full mobile staking, not just light wallets! So you’ll be able to earn STG from your pocket. Stegos has three key scalability features: gPoS consensus Sharding Pruning #1 gPoS consensus Stegos uses a unique consensus mechanism called gamified proof-of-stake or gPOS. gPoS is a modification of proof-of-stake consensus (PoS), which was created as an efficient alternative to proof-of-work (PoW). PoW consensus requires a lot of computational power which is extremely wasteful, environmentally unfriendly and is beyond the means of all but the richest users. In a PoS system, a validator’s ability to create blocks is directly proportional to the amount of coins they hold. This is much more computationally efficient, but it still rewards the rich. This is turn leads to centralization of validation services and compromises the safety of the network. To rectify this issue, our developers have created gPoS. Under gPoS everyone who runs a Stegos node for a certain amount of time will be eligible to receive the validator service award, regardless of the size of their stake. To fund this, a portion of each block reward will be added to the service award pool. A winning validator will be selected in an ongoing cryptographic lottery based on verifiable distributed randomness. The service award is awarded roughly every ten thousand blocks, so you could receive an enormous payday, even if you only provide the minimum stake! #2 Sharding Sharding is a technique to cut down bulky databases into more manageable chunks or “shards.” Image Credit: Digital Ocean As the diagram shows, sharding partitions databases horizontally. This way, instead of dealing with an entire database, one needs to only deal with a specific shard. Stegos uses transactional sharding to scale. The validators will only need to verify a subset of incoming transactions, instead of dealing with the whole blockchain. This will allow Stegos to process tens of thousands of transactions per second across millions of devices. #3 Pruning Stegos isn’t the first blockchain to boast of huge transaction speeds. But that’s only half the story. Consider: the Bitcoin blockchain is currently larger than 200 gigabytes, despite being only able to handle 7–10 transactions per second. If it suddenly supported 16,000 transactions a second, the blockchain would start growing by 350 gigabytes a day or 127 terabytes a year! This is obviously unsustainable in a decentralized network. The Stegos blockchain is kept compact by routinely and automatically removing spent coins and expired messages using secure cryptographic pruning. This has an added privacy benefit of deleting old transaction and messaging data, making it impossible to unobscure the Stegos chain using chain analysis. Privacy Now let’s look at precisely how Stegos will provide the first fully integrated private crypto experience, entirely on-chain. Transactions Messaging and Chat Peer-to-Peer Trading Private Apps #1 Transactions In Stegos, only you and the people you transact with have direct access to transaction information or metadata. Public addresses are cloaked by stealth addresses, while transaction details are cloaked with random values. Transactions cannot be linked, and even if you post your Stegos public key or QR code online, it cannot be tracked back to you. #2 Messaging and Chat Private transactions are all very well, but you still need to initiate them, which means you need a way to contact the other party without exposing your (or their) personal information. To do this, we implement a fully private communication and integrate it within the Stegos app. The Stegos chat service: Functions like a standard messaging app, with group chat, contact lists, and more. Lets you use your public key as an identifier. Like with transactions, stealth addresses ensure public keys cannot be linked back to you. Sends messages via the Stegos fast message bus, ensuring messages are received instantly without waiting for chain confirmation. Lets you initiate an STG transaction by sending a QR code via private chat. You can also create chat groups and invite people to it via QR codes. #3 Peer-to-Peer Trading Even with private transactions and communication, users still need a way to get access to the cryptosphere without exposing their private data. Exchanges are a notorious security and privacy risk, with most exchanges requiring more personal data than signing up for a standard bank account! Stegos will implement on-chain peer-to-peer trading, allowing users to buy and sell crypto using atomic swaps. (Stegos can’t do anything about the privacy problems of other crypto, but any surveillance trails will be broken once your crypto enters the Stegos ecosystem.) #4 Private Apps The Stegos app provides an integrated crypto experience, but we know you always need more: more functionality, and more choice between existing functionalities. For this reason, Stegos will have an on-chain privacy app store, with details of the apps stored privately on the Stegos blockchain. This way, you will be able to browse and access apps privately. You can also be confident that the apps you install are private and secure. To be listed on the Stegos privacy app store, the app must have a manifest which includes the following description: The URL used to download the app. Hash of the app bundle. The apps are stored on-chain to avoid bloating the Stegos chain and downloaded via the Stegos app. The Segos TAC (trusted application container) will install the app bundle locally once it verifies that the signature of the app bundle and the hash match the information in the manifest. The TAC is a sandbox and virtual machine which runs plug-in apps written using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The TAC will keep the DApps contained while they run on your device, and will provide a simpler and more secure user experience. How far have we got? As you can see, Stegos has an extremely ambitious vision. So how much progress have we made? Well, the simplest thing would be to see for yourself: you can download the first version of the desktop app and interact with our test chain. There’s still a way to go (in particular there’s a one-off sync delay on first running the app which will be eliminated in future version), and we’re still implementing some key features, but all of the advanced protocols that power the Stegos chain and keep it private are in place and working perfectly. We’re releasing new versions of the desktop app and command-line interface every week or so, and we’re about to launch a huge bounty program where you can test out staking, transactions and messaging and earn thousands of testSTG. These testSTG can be exchanged for a share of tens of thousands of dollars worth of real STG when the chain launches for real next month: we believe this is the first pre-launch bounty program that’s secured by the project’s own blockchain, with automatic conversion to real money once the program closes! Conclusion At Stegos, we believe that everyone deserves privacy and protection from government surveillance. Our tight-knit team has successfully created state-of-the-art scalability and privacy protocols to build the first integrated and accessible private blockchain platform, with immense growth potential. Our ultimate goal is to be the world’s first truly mobile blockchain which will give everyone the chance to reject government surveillance and embrace their freedoms. But don’t just take our word for it: try out our app, read our white paper, join our Telegram group or check out our website. #Blockchain #Stegos #Cryptocurrency

Most Amazing Books to Read
We've seen these rundowns previously - from Amazon to the Telegraph to Time Magazine and past. A lot of people have arrangements of the 100 best books ever, the 100 books you should peruse, and on. What's more, flawlessly, in spite of cover, they are on the whole unique. The magnificent subjectivity of workmanship implies that no two of these rundowns ought to ever be actually indistinguishable. So this is our own, our uncommon snowflake of a rundown, conceived out of our enthusiasm for books. We kept it to fiction this time. A portion of the normal works of art are there, close by some progressively contemporary passage. There is some sci-fi, some YA, or more all else, some remarkable stories.

How innovative videography can supercharge education
by Fun Man Fung
Tumblr media
360-degree cameras are one of several innovative filming technologies being applied for science education at the National University of Singapore. NUS, Author provided
In the ongoing quest to improve student engagement and learning outcomes, many teachers and academic institutions are exploring novel methods for producing and distributing educational videos. New tools and platforms offer exciting opportunities to make educational videos more fun and give them greater impact.
Educational videos have been around for decades, but they gained popularity in recent years as the growing availability of high-speed Internet, connected devices, and low-cost cloud storage platforms allowed educators to put lectures and other instructional materials online. With students now able to access course content at their own time and pace, many educators opted to “invert” their classrooms, reserving class time for group discussions, experiments, and other activities that help consolidate higher-order learning rather than just disseminate knowledge.
An increasing body of evidence suggests that the “inverted” or “flipped” approach to teaching provides a better experience for students, improving retention of course material and cultivating more general learning skills. It is applicable to all fields, but especially those in the natural sciences that require students to amass a large body of foundational knowledge. This includes abstract concepts and equations in physics, chemistry, and biology that sometimes require repeated exposure to master.
Inverted classrooms typically revolve around video lectures that are available online. Most of these videos are filmed in a relatively straightforward format, with the camera pointed directly at the teacher. Some might also incorporate slide-based images or even animation. Such videos can be effective, but they only scratch the surface of what’s possible. New videography tools now allow educators to create a much richer, more dynamic, and personal experiences for their students.
As an IT-for-teaching instructor in the department of chemistry at the National University of Singapore, I have always been intrigued by innovative techniques for creating inverted classroom experiences. And as an assistant director and core faculty at the Institute for the Application of Learning Science and Education Technology (ALSET), which conducts research on new pedagogies and instructional techniques, I am also committed to rigorous and scientific evaluation of what works. Below are some of the approaches I’ve tried and initial reflections on my experience with them.
New technologies and approaches
The lightboard: In many fields, instructors need to present equations, diagrams, and notes to their students during lectures. In educational videos, however, it is hard to write on a traditional whiteboard without obscuring the content and losing eye contact. One solution to this challenge is the Lightboard, a new technology pioneered by Michael Peshkin at Northwestern University that allows instructors to write their notes while facing students.
Instructor’s point-of-view filming (IPOV): With or without a lightboard, most educational videos are filmed from the perspective of students looking at a professor, but by using head- or chest-mounted cameras like Google Glass or the GoPro 5, educators also have the option to film instructional videos from their own perspective. This approach that has benefits in many contexts. In laboratory experiments, for example, students can get a clearer picture of how instructors handle equipment – a perspective that can improve familiarity with equipment and prevent damage from mishandling.
Virtual reality and 360-degree cameras: As virtual reality becomes increasingly popular, many instructors are building immersive video experiences for students. 360-degree cameras, which capture panoramic views of an environment, are a key tool for creating such experiences. In a 360-degree video or virtual reality app, viewers can choose the angle they seek at any given time, allowing them to engage more actively with the content (I recently reviewed two low-cost 360-degree cameras – the Ricoh Theta S and the 360fly – both of which are well suited for educational videos).
Drones: Unmanned aerial vehicles, colloquially known as drones, are another useful tool for creating educational videos. In my environmental chemistry classes, I’ve used them in exercises to find potential sites for soil sampling. Similar possibilities exist in other fields that require aerial surveys, such as public health and emergency medicine. One downside though is that drones can be expensive, and using them sometimes violates local laws and ordinances, so teachers and students should always use them with caution.
Videos on social media: Most students these days spend significant time on social media applications, in particular Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. By embedding educational videos in popular social media platforms, instructors can reach students on their own turf. However, social media platforms might be too distracting to support learning for some kinds of students, so more research is needed to ensure they are leveraged properly.
The limits of video
Even with the most innovative new filming and viewing techniques, educational videos have some limitations in the type and quality of the information they provide. In my own field of chemistry, for example, laboratory experiments are an essential part of the learning process. While some of these experiments can be filmed, nothing compares to the experience of being physically immersed in a laboratory environment and in the company of one’s peers.
New video techniques and platforms are getting better all the time at delivering content and bringing people together for group learning activities, but they still remain a complement – and not an alternative – to a well-rounded education.

Why are there 3 Primary Colors/ Angles of Refraction in electromagnetic radiation?
Well... that question has been one for the mystics since time immemorial ;) Every person must answer this for themselves ultimately. I will say that entire religions have been anthropomorphized upon this subject matter in an attempt to answer this for you, since time immemorial, over and over again!
The key observations here to note is that the light is being refracted into 3 primary rays in each instance. The 3 primary colors we perceive as red, green and blue are the base components of all color possibilities, whether additive or subtractive. Another key observation is that the center color for emitted light is green and the center color of absorbed light is magenta (the negation of middle green.) The big question for all should be WHY 3? Also, what are these 3 core components of light (and thus electromagnetic radiation) really? What is it exactly that these 3 primary colors represent, which controls and manages all forms of energy?
Tumblr media
There are some important key characteristics and observations I will discuss from here though, all of which center upon the most important work of Jon DePew regarding magnetism. >>www.coralcastlecode.com<<
Tumblr media
Jon DePew's work (and others such as Edward Leedskalnin before him) proved through physical experiments and geometric reasoning, that magnetism and all its possible energy field arrangements (which are ultimately functions of magnetism) are composed of 3 irreducible base components. Jon often describes these as the "two opposing magnetic currents and the neutral particles of matter." Ultimately, he is talking about the base triangulation/ polarization of dimension into positive, negative and neutral. This simple premise quickly evolves into the deepest thread of interconnected logic concerning the co-definitive relationship between particles of matter and the energy fields, which is far beyond the scope of this writing, much less my authority or ability to effectively cover it, but I will attempt to summarize some key points that relate most specifically to this article's exploration of color and light so that we may move on from here with necessary context. This may be the most complex section of this article for those unfamiliar with electromagnetic theory, but this can be understood by everybody with some familiarization, do not be discouraged.
What is important to understand is that light itself as "electromagnetism" IS magnetism. The ELECTRO in electromagnetism as I understand it, is essentially simply referring to the fact that the magnetic field is alternating/ rotating/ orbiting at a relative frequency and can induce relative motion among its own continuum. (Do not think of a magnetic field as something that ever ends. Every atom/ particle of matter is sustained and connected via magnetic field to every other in the universe as an alternating and neutralizing continuum.) The prime mover of magnetic field alternation and polar interchange is not electricity as an independent force, but the requirement of the dynamic universal magnetic field to redistribute relative inertia (induce motion) and polar orientation in order to maintain magnetic equilibrium. There is a relative magnetic pressure (electromotive force, aka voltage) in what we consider a "positive electrically charged" object and its field and a "negatively charged" object and its field, with potential to induce motion and redistribute polarity through resistance, relative to the base inertia of the static dominant magnetic field (that of the Earth and solar system for instance) as a function of pressure mediation in circuit. This is true for gravity and all other characterizations of force. There are no separate forces, they are all behaviors of the same base magnetic system that is required of dimension for the same purposes the golden ratio of Phi is required of dimension (Phi is the ratio of 1 to itself) and at least a triangulation of vectors is necessary to define a point in space and time or give a sphere its dimension.
It is no coincidence that electromagnetic waves are traditionally represented with a triangulation of dimensional qualities signified by the 3 primary colors. In the standard diagrams of electromagnetic waves, 2 linear waves are oriented to each other at 90 degrees along an axis and a spiral may be traced to unify their alternating vectors through time. Ultimately this triple relationship may be represented at any point in time by a right angled triangle (which should bring to light a most compelling function of the Pythagorean Theorem.) The opposite and adjacent vectors at 90 degrees are traditionally distinguished as the electric and magnetic waves, to which we must say the hypotenuse would signify the path of no resistance between the 2 as angular momentum. We must disagree however that the right angled phase relationship should be distinguished as electricity and magnetism separately. Truly this is simply a manifestation of dimensionally requisite polarity. Is the input force upon a gyroscope electricity to the magnetism of the output force at 90 degrees, or is this simply another manifestation of dimensionally requisite polarity distribution? In what position are you most stable in regards to gravity, at right angles such as standing perpendicular or lying parallel to the ground, or at any other angle in between these? (Good luck trying to remain standing at anything other than multiples of 90 degrees.)
Altogether, these 3 base factors of every possible wave are the base necessities of all dimensional logic, for endless reasons. They are critical to the dimensional solutions of both the particle of mass and the magnetic energy field, which will be the subjects of future publications.
Tumblr media
The white light which we find to have 3 core indivisible components in its primary colors of red, green and blue, is an effect of perception of the very same truth of a magnetic field/ magnetic wave being composed of a triangulation of positive, negative and neutral axes of relative dimensional orientation and pressure. Not only this, it is a result of the process of magnetic induction and magnetic resonance, whose value is ultimately Phi (the "Golden Ratio.") This is a key discovery of Jon DePew. The whole universal magnetic continuum is reducible to a dimensional triangulation, neutralizing/ balancing at the Phi ratio, always.
We will find this truth on display in the > measurement of light!

***Some Food For Thought On National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day***
Prior to World War II and the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1935, Nikola Tesla sent an elaborate technical paper, including diagrams, to a number of allied nations including the United States, Canada, England, France, the Soviet Union, and Yugoslavia, titled “New Art of Projecting Concentrated Non-Dispersive Energy Through Natural Media.” (link). The paper provided the first technical description of what is today called a charged particle beam weapon. Tesla was directly communicating with the U.S. government and Prime Minster Chamberlain of Great Britain in an effort to promote his particle beam for defense against enemy aerial attacks. Tesla’s correspondence with Prime Minster Chamberlain was his attempt to prevent Nazi Germany from taking over his native homeland, but when Great Britain, France and Italy agreed to let Germany annex Czechoslovakia at the Munich Conference in 1938, his communication with the government came to an end. His ultimate goal was to prevent World War II.
Tesla’s device was a natural extension of his high frequency work in Colorado Springs where he produced 100 foot long sparks, or artificial lightning, in his laboratory experiments at Colorado Springs in 1899. The next step was to control and direct this energy as a weapon. The device he proposed was a open vacuum tube that could charge small or large particles to millions of volts and project these highly charged “non-dispersive” particles through free air to bring down hundreds of enemy airplanes.
Had the U.S. Government and other allies accepted and adopted his inventions and proposals he could have made this country, and others, completely invulnerable to any foreign invasions. Unfortunately, his innovations weren’t taken seriously, and his hopes and dreams of furthering peace died with him in 1943.
“[In] eight years I developed a new title using 50 of my patents of which one third are not applied. In the system there are no electrons. Energy goes into the same direction without any distribution [dissipation] and the same on all sides of distance. It contains neutrons. [In] the air [its size] is equal to a diameter of hydrogen. It can destroy the largest ships afloat. There is unlimited distance of travel. The same is for airplanes… The contents of one bomb can be exploded in the air. I add that in the station one must have a small generator or battery of 30 volts for activation…”
“Same construction like at Wardenclyffe and only 20 meters high - a ball five meters in diameter - the station would be using diesel oil for energy with mechanical action - my air turbines, steam powered, electrically or other manners of transforming into alternating electrical current with sixty billion volts pressure without danger… There will not be any light, electrical energy will deliver particles through space with the speed of 118,837,370,000 centimeters per second. This is 394,579 the speed of light. As I said about airplanes it can be used for tanks, trucks, automobiles and various machines in factories, with hydro-electrical wheels and unlimited other machines. The particles can be larger than that of the diameter of an Hydrogen atom with metals of all kinds of materials and sent to all distances and good results in war and bring about peace. Particles are practical with neutrons, because, they are 3,723 times lighter than electricity or electrons that cannot penetrate space for great distances. In my attempts with an effective 20 million volts, electrons carried 40 times more electricity than normally and penetrated two meters in depth and terrible damage in a moment each.”

Practical Approach for Elements within Incorporated Charged Zinc Particles in an Anode Zinc Reactor of a Fabricated Zinc Bromine Battery Cell System (ZnBr2) with Fitting Materials
Tumblr media
Abstract
Batteries with different chemistries and designs encounters various (redox reactions) to store energy through applying charges and discharges rates. Redox flow batteries systems such as zinc bromine batteries cells systems (ZnBr2) can be enclosed with high surface area anode electrodes (reactors) and charged with some amount of added carbon particles for zinc deposition. The electrochemical reactions within a fabricated ZnBr2 battery cell system have been investigated with the coupled inlets and outlet brass fitting materials (15mm and 30mm) of different anode and cathode electrolyte compositions. SEM analysis was explored on some charged particles collected from the anode reactor to identify all the existing elements within the deposited charged zinc particles after several charges. The investigated zinc particles were between 254 microns to 354 microns. The electrolyte composition includes 3 moles of KBr (535.51 grams), 1 mole of KCl (111.89 grams) as the cathode side electrolyte and 3 moles of ZnBr2 (675 grams), 1 mole of ZnCl2 (205 grams), and 1M of KCl (111.826 grams) as the anode electrolyte solution. Originally, this journal paper has discovered the importance of coupling chemically resistance materials to ZnBr2 cells as investigated on the fabricated ZnBr2 cell that was initially converted to a CuZn2 battery cell system and reverted to the ideal ZnBr2 cell system before using an SEM technique to identify separately the present elements.
Keywords: SEM Analysis on Elements; Flow Rate; Reverting Battery Cell System
    Introduction
As previously presented in a journal titled (Practical Development of a ZnBr2 Flow Battery with a Fluidized Bed Anode Zinc-Electrode), Journal of the Electrochemical Society, Volume 167, Number 5, various categories of anode reactors designed in solidwork were numerically examined before choosing the best candidate reactor and later passed different coulombs of charges and discharges to the fabricated ZnBr2 battery cell after the incorporated chosen reactor to the cell anode side and later explored the presented SEM analysis carried out in this paper on some particles collected from the anode reactor [1].
The fluent version in Ansys has assisted to successfully modelled a fluidized bed to address problems facing zinc-bromine battery cells systems. Such as dendrites problems within the cell; puncturing membranes of these cells systems and thereby resulting to cut off voltages, short circuits that also reduces their life span. Introducing and modelling a fluidized bed zinc electrode has demonstrated fast deposition of zinc ions within the battery system zinc electrode and serve as an incorporated alternative electrode to prevent depositing zinc ions onto a solid electrode previously making ZnBr2 cells to encounter mechanical abrasion and deteriorating the electrodes as zinc ions stays longer on them than the expected time [1-3]. See the presented schematic diagram in Figure 1.
Introduction to SEM and Fluidized Bed Reactors
SEM (scanning electrons microscopy) and fluidized bed zinc anode reactors has several benefits. Some of these benefits include using SEM to examine electrode sample homogeneity and fluidized bed reactors for multiphase mixing purposes etc. Elements present within injected particles to zinc bromine batteries cells systems; anode zinc electrode can be examined using SEM analysis. Redox flow batteries cells systems (RFB’s) such as zinc bromine batteries cells systems enclosed with high surface area zinc electrodes are capable to prevent the issue of dendrite formation within these batteries cells systems.
By means of SEM, scanning of electrons microscopy, samples images sample can be produced through focusing on the beam of electrons [4]. Anode zinc reactors of ZnBr2 batteries cells systems are usually in liquid and solid phases. Both the two phases, liquid and solid are common in petrochemical industries, biological industries in chemical industries and particularity for adsorption, cracking (catalytic), crystallization and for ion exchange [5] etc. Particles sizes and shapes within anode reactors has huge impact to achieve fluidization and prevent dendrite formation in ZnBr2 cells. However, majority of these fluidized beds are not always designed properly before fabrication and to tailoring them to the mean particle size; especially for those in use for particle size distributions [6-18].
Particles behaviour are now usually modelled using the DEM technique, (discrete element method). DEM approaches are used to represent particles numerically and individually by identifying them with their specific properties (shapes, magnitude, properties of their material and the original velocity) [19-21]. The geometry interior shape accommodating all the injected particles are the domain for the simulation. Designed reactors can be separated by grids to identify the positions of particles prior to modelling and simulating.
Based on Newton’s laws, injected particles in reactors are subjected to have good contacts and can be exposed to a small motion during the iteration process [22-24]. Contacts among injected particles in a ZnBr2 anode reactor can be monitored throughout discrete reactions, modelling stages and to determine the particles contact forces ad magnitude through a spring dashpot model. The acceleration of drag forces on fluid and particles, total forces and summation can be computationally balanced before determining individually the parameters and particles motion [25].
Particles properties, such as structure can differently be observed using SEM, scanning of electrons microscopy and their sample compositions, and any interacted atoms within the provided sample [26,27]. In most application, over the surface of samples, data collections are possible within the selected area and spatially displayed variances in their properties. Areas in between 1 cm to 5 microns can be imaged using such technique and within a spatial resolution of 50 to 100nm through using conventional scanning electrons microscopy method [28-31].
Suitable qualitative approaches, semi-quantitative, structural crystal or using EBSD to observe the orientation of the crystal and selecting point on samples are possible on SEM to determine chemically various compositions by means of an energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS) [29,32]. Typically, scanning electron microscopy, as probes electrons micro-analyzer, EPMA, has considerably several existing designed functions of overlapped capabilities among other analytical instruments.
Backscattered electrons can be standardly collected using an SEM and electrons sources are the basic part of SEM. Through SEM analysis, electron’s properties, electrodes dispersion and their homogeneity can also be observed [33,34]. The sources of electrons, high voltages encountered across them, electrons accelerating toward the samples, electromagnetic lenses, temperatures, detectors, and data systems collections are diffractions of samples usually at high incidence angles [35-40]. Within a user interface, SEM does not rely on a 2θ angle, rather to act marginally and similarly to a light microscope [41]. Some SEMs are equipped to count samples, detect, and analyze off a scattered x-ray. Through such type of detectors, the elemental composition of a sample can possibly be determined [42-44]. Table 1 has further presented other advantages and disadvantages of scanning electrons microscopy, SEM.

Materials and Method
SEM Preparation
By exploring scanning of electrons microscopy (SEM) on some of the collected charged particles from the anode zinc reactor was to discover all the enclosed various elements after charging and discharging the zinc bromine battery cell at different charge rates. Before exploring SEM analyses on the charged deposited zinc morphology collected from the anode reactor were dried in an oven at a temperature of 50°C to prevent these particles from agglomerating together.
The investigated particles sizes were in between (254 microns to 354 microns). Some of these particles from the anode-side zinc electrode after charging the cell were viewed at different microns (100 microns, 50 microns, 10 microns and 5 microns) by using the JEOL JSM-6010 PLUS/LA (SEM) scanning electron microscope machine.
The SEM characterization of the zinc electrodeposits were examined after charging the cell at a charge rate of 0.27 amps and 0.3 amps. The anode-electrolyte composition includes 3 moles of ZnBr2 (675 grams) Solution, 1 mole of ZnCl2 (205 grams), and 1 mole of KCl (111.826 grams). The cathode electrolyte solution includes 3 moles of KBr (535 grams) and 1 mole of KCl (111.897 grams). The anode electrolyte solution density was 1.47g cm-3 which was used to gauge the cathode-electrolyte. A flow rate of (166.7cm3/ min) was maintained throughout the experiment. The used JSM-6010LA/JSM-6010LV equipment for the scanning process was a compact mobile SEMs device with high performance and suitable for research use (Figure 2). The surface structures are observed by secondary electrons, the distribution of materials in a specimen was observed by backscattering the electrons and analysing the elements by EDS (energy dispersive X-ray analyser). All the necessary functions are available in the all-in-one mobile multi-touch-panel SEM [45-49].
    Results Analysis and Discussion
Examined Particles
Particles collected from the anode zinc reactor in the lab for SEM analysis (scanning of electrons image) occupied some white edges after the charge and discharge experiments according to the colour mapping. (Figures 3a-3c) for the decoupled anode and cathode cell reactor, the anode zinc reactor incorporating charged zinc particles, the collected and prepared charged electrodeposited zinc morphology enclosed within the small glass coin beaker for SEM analysis. Encountered degasification, the removal of dissolved gases from the anode and cathode electrolyte solution was due to the solid and liquid interfaces enclosing some formed bubbles during the experimental work. The observed degasification was concluded to have originated from particles that were not properly dried before removing them from the oven and before the SEM process. Particles not properly dried before the SEM analysis were expected to have strangely behaved and changed the zinc morphology (shape and structure) due to the observed gasification.
The dried and examined zinc morphologies presented in Figures 4-6 were studied using the scanning of electron microscopy, SEM characterization to observe elements enclosed within these particles after the redox reaction (charged and discharged) to store and discharge the stored energy by the fabricated zinc bromine battery cell and after observing copper deposits at the cathode-side electrolyte due to the brass fittings that were not chemically resistance that initially changed the battery to a copper-zinc RFB cell before it was reverted back to a zinc-bromine battery cell by changing some of the materials. See the two graphical peak plots in Figure 7a & 7b for the identified copper showing the presence of copper at a wavelength of 740nm and at a wavelength of 900nm with a UV-visible spectrophotometer device (Table 2).
As presented in Tables 3-5, the images of the mapped elements during the SEI, scanning of electrons images showed no hydrogen traces subsequently after charging the ZnBr2 battery cell at various charged and discharged amperes.
Zinc deposited within the anode reactor via SEM were viewed using different microns. Picture 1, observed as 100 microns has a sedimentary rock shape, photo 3, viewed in 10 microns has high mossy deposits that look like zinc clusters. Picture 2 of 50 microns resemble silt sand that was sticky together, and photo 4, was observed in 5 microns. Particles collected after discharging the stored energy by the battery cell were like the charged particles examined via SEM. Furthermore, the carbon fibre feeder electrode materials also contributed to the low current in between (-300 mA to 300 mA) that was observed continuously when the fabricated battery cell was charged and throughout its mode of operation. In the past, a similar magnificently SEM results have been achieved despite using the appropriate working electrodes materials, primary and secondary supporting electrolyte which also enhanced a good electrochemical behaviour [50].

UV-Visible Spectrometer Device and Peak Plots
As presented in Figure 8, a UV-Vis spectroscopy laboratory device is a simple, quick, and not expensive measurable technique for measuring the amount of light absorbs by a chemical substance. See also Figure 7a-7c and Figure 9 for other results. The process can be carried out by gaging the light intensity passing through a sample in relation to the light intensity through a blank reference or sample. Multiple techniques can measure types of multiple samples, either in thin film, glass, liquids, or solids. UV-Vis Spectroscopy as a measuring device is suitable to know the transmitting, absorption and the functioning reflection of a material wavelength in the range of 190 nanometers to 1,100 manometers [51,52].
With a UV-Vis spectroscopy device, it was possible the observed brown deposits within the cathode electrolyte solution as copper by collecting some of this electrolyte solution in a small glass bottle after passing these charges to the cell: (1) 0.1 amps and -0.1 amps for 3600 secs and 800 secs (2) At 0.1 amps and -0.1 amps for 3500 secs and 200 secs and (3) At 0.25 amps for 3600 secs and -0.25 amps for 100 secs with 3 moles of KBr (535.51 grams), 1 mole of KCl (111.89 grams) as the cathode-side electrolyte solution and 3 moles of ZnBr2 (675 grams), 1M of ZnCl2 (205 grams), and 1 mole of KCl (111.826 grams) as the anode electrolyte solution [53,54].
The cathode electrolyte solution contains 3 moles of KBr (535.51g), 1 mole of KCl (111.89g). The anode electrolyte solution contains 3 moles of ZnBr2, 1 mole of KCl and 1 mole of ZnCl2. Both electrolytes solution contained 24.1g of Sodium Bromoacetate acid and Bromoacetic acid and 240g of MEM-Sequestering agent.
    Conclusion and Future Work
The fabricated ZnBr2 cell chemically converted to a CuZn2battery cell due to the non-chemically fitted brass materials coupled to the fabricated battery cell according to the investigated brown deposits within the cathode-side electrolyte observed to be copper and further to the explored SEM analysis on some of the electrodeposited charged zinc particles incorporated within the anode-reactor. The outcome of the results encouraged interrupting the cell from operating further and led to pulling apart the cell components to be properly cleaned and the sieving separation technique carried out on the cathode and anode electrolyte solution due the escaped charged zinc-particles.
Furthermore, as previously mentioned the possibility to revert the cell back to a zinc-bromine battery cell from a copper-zinc battery cell had occurred by changing the brass fitting materials (BFM) to a plastic fitting material (PFM). The observed brown deposits which had converted the zinc-bromine batteries cell to a copper-zinc battery cell was only possible to be reverted to a zinc-bromine battery cells by carrying out repeatedly a filtration process to separate the sediments observed from the anode and cathode electrolyte solution.
Initially by not fabricating the Nafion membrane size to the actual length and cell breadth size (190mm*190mm), had supported allowing the anode and cathode electrolyte to mix. Therefore, fabricating the membrane size to a cell shape will prevent any future occurrence from allowing any cross-mixing of any anode-side and cathode-side electrolyte.
By using a UV-visible spectrophotometer device to detect why the cathode-side electrolyte did not change to a reddish brown or yellow colour during the charge rate and discharged rate after identifying a dark green coloured electrolyte at the cathode-side cell; which was recognized as copper at a wavelength of 900nm and with two peaks (see Figure 7a & 7b) had also supported having the establishment of a good redox reaction according to the electrochemical results according to the experimental observation. Furthermore, see Figures 1 & 7b. Therefore, identifying the chemistry behind the electrolyte colour had further helped.
The presence of oxygen (O2) was agreed to have occurred because the cell was exposed before coupling it and due to the presence of H2O. Silicon has originated due to the applied adhesive glue to prevent leakages. Chromium (Cr), Iron (Fe) and carbon (C) were both produced due to the coupled anode-inlet and anode-outlet pipe steel materials and brass fittings that were not chemical resistance. The anode and cathode inlets and outlets brass fittings materials had supported the origination of the identified selenium element during the chemical reaction. Selenium as non-metallic chemical elements in the group xvi of the periodic table could conducts electricity better in the light than in the dark and used in photocells. It was not peculiar by identifying some potassium elements during the SEM since the cell electrolytes consisted of some added salt.

Decorating a hall for an inexpensive wedding with their own hands
Do-it-yourself wedding hall decoration - a lot of ideas
The wedding hall for a banquet party is usually decorated by the staff of a coffee shop, restaurant or private agencies. But so it will not be possible to decorate the room with your own hands and to your taste. Prepare balls, flowers, lots of light fabric and ribbons, tablecloths, curtains and accessories. Here are some ideas and master classes for decorating a wedding hall with your own hands.
Live flowers - amazing decoration: refreshing, giving a festive look. One problem - you quickly lose sight, and withered flowers at the wedding - this is a bad form. Therefore, for wreaths it is quite possible to do artificial colors - and practical (you can use it many times), and cheap. Sometimes they are already sold whole wreaths - it remains only to hang them. If you still want to add fresh flowers, prepare tall narrow vases (on tables, made with various dishes, and there is not much room) or large vases to decorate the room.
Festive mood, or the use of balls
Balls cost less than flowers, so you can only leave flowers on tables, and decorate the hall to use balls. You do not have to weave balls from complex garlands and other characters? Pick up a few balls, successful in color combination and hang them on bright ribbons. Good looking balls filled with helium. This gas is lighter than air, and the balls can be fixed not only on the ceiling, but also on the backs of chairs, on tables. By the way, it is not necessary to fasten them to the ceiling, just simply fasten decorative tape, serpentine and let it go. If the ceilings are not very high, it looks just magical. If the usual balls seem to you a trivial thing, you can make the balls from the thread.
Balls Of Themes - Find  a Design
Tools and materials:
PVA glue - one and a half cups;
Sewing thread (thick);
Starch - half of the glass;
Water - a quarter of a glass;
Vegetable oil;
Air balls;
Linoleum.
Bracket or other strap for hanging.
1.    Inflate the balls to the desired size and hang them on the threads, oiled (so that they do not stick together afterward).
2.    Combine glue and starch with water and mix well.
3.    Loosen the rope with the compound and wind the ball in a random order. Leave to dry for a day.
4.    When the glue is completely hardened, pierce the ball and remove it from the mesh.
5.    The openwork ball will keep its shape and decorate the holiday.
Colors and balls are an elegant alternative worthy of paper columns - elegant, elegant, and budget. The color and dimensions are determined by yourself, but the tips are for making.
Paper Pom-Poms: Step-by-Step Instructions
Tools and materials:
8 sheets of thin paper measuring 50 cm x 80 cm (can be packaged) - single color or matching shades;
Hank from strong threads (you can rope);
Large scissors;
Strong line or transparent thread.
1.    A stack of leaves is completely stacked, given the combination of colors, if the balloon is multi-colored (as in the hombre pattern - two sheets of yellow paper, three - cream, the rest - orange).
2.    A stack of sheets folded with an accordion - we corrugated. The width of the tape is from 3 cm to 8 cm, and one long tape is obtained.
3.    Bend the workpiece in half, marking the middle, and fasten the center with a strong thread.
4.    Crop the edge of an arc or a triangle - depending on what shape of the pom-pom you want to get. The sheets should hold tight so that the edge is the same.
5.    Holding to the middle, unfold a sheet with a fan and straighten the folds.
6.    Carefully we separate each layer, first on one side, then on the other.
7.    Ligaments align and fix, tie tape or serpentine.
Think about the color scheme of the hall decoration, especially if it is themed wedding. The predominant color at the wedding is white, but it can and should be in tandem with pastel shades of pink, blue, cream, lilac. The thematic marine wedding will dominate turquoise and orange - orange, in the wedding in the style of Tiffany - blue. If there is an opportunity to fasten the fabric to the ceiling and it is high enough, you can build from fabric sails.
The decoration of the table and bow of the groom and bride with colorful garlands looks very creative. These New Year lamps favorably distinguish the wedding table among all others. However, on the walls and on the ceiling they also look good, creating a romantic atmosphere, which can be supplemented with muted lighting, and a lot of candles.
The simplest homemade wreaths are made of thread and colored paper. A sewing machine is also useful. Cut out colored paper circles, hearts, flowers of various sizes and connect them, sew on a typewriter with small intervals between individual fragments. From these wreaths you can make whole compositions.
The decor of the wedding tables - seating cards
In order for the guests to easily navigate the hall and quickly find their seats at the table, the plan of the hall is hung at the entrance, a special assistant is assigned to the seating of the guests, which is guided by table numbers and name signs. It can also be decorated in wedding style. Cards with names can be on chairs, you can fasten them to glass.
Wedding tables (especially for newlyweds, well, if several tables are joined into one large one) draped with special skirts, which you can also make yourself. It looks simply gorgeous ballet skirt, but you don't need to sew or glue it.
Tools and materials
(Or a wide elastic band or a strip of thick cloth 5 cm wide and length along the perimeter of the table with an allowance of 50 cm).
Tulle (you can buy in fabric stores) - length along the perimeter with a margin of 1 meter, width - two table heights (for an extra fragrance you can add a few more meters).
a pair of scissors.
Safety pins.
1.    Fatten is cut into strips 10 cm wide and 2 inches long.
2.    Tension tape (you can fasten the ends to the backs of the chairs, push them to the required distance).
3.    We fix the tape to the tape, as shown in the diagram.
4.    Likewise, we fix all other strips.
5.    When filling the entire strip, the ends need to be fixed, and grab the last strip of tulle with a needle and thread. The ends of the tape can hang freely, if there is a stock, you can tie a bow.
6.    Before the holiday, we tie a skirt along the edge of the table with pins, evenly distributing the nodules.
The decoration of the wedding hall with their own hands will be incomplete without the decoration of the chairs. Most often they are draped with a piece of cloth. It should be a long cloak, covering the legs, especially if the chairs are not the same or not completely new. If the chair in your wedding style looks very impressive, you can only decorate the back, fixing ribbons, brooches, bows and flowers on it. The pant usually makes wonderful, with a long dangling end. If the wedding at you go out and the chairs will be folding, then it is possible to limit yourself to ribbons with a wreath of artificial colors. Interesting are paper hearts, bright inscriptions, symbols of your wedding style. Do-it-yourself wedding decoration video will prompt interesting ideas.
Thinking about wedding design, it is important not to overdo it. The room looks best with a simple design, in one color scheme (no more than three colors, combined with the clothes of the newlyweds). Cumbersome decor, an abundance of small parts can spoil the interior my blessedly. Bouquets high on the table should not cover the faces of the guests, and the balls on long bars interfere with the photographer. We hope these tips will help you turn even a no script premise into a frolic fairy tale hall.
