Do you do comms or art trades?

Commissions? Not really, ive learned from experience that i am an absolute MESS when it comes to trying to keep up with those xD i can never seem to find the motivation to work on them.

Sometimes ill spontaneously open up slots or something for comms when i need money asap OR can feel the art juices flowing and im in a good mood, but those times are usually few and far between. Atm theyre closed.

Art trades? HELL YEAH!!! Just depends on if im busy or not that week! Im a little shy when it comes to art trades, i usually procrastinate for weeks about reaching out to an artist i admire but then i overthink and chicken out.

I think ive only ever done... like one, or two? The second one of which the other person hasnt started their side of it and i think its been a year now xD

But i absolutely love ATs, idm how long the other person takes because sometimes i take just as long. I get a child-like joy when someone draws my character for me and i love the challenge of returning that kindness with art for them in turn >:) the other artist doesnt even need to be super skilled or famous, idc if they think their art is less equal than mine because imo its the intention and thought behind it that counts more.

#cimmerian1275 #cimmers ramblings #art trade #commission #the only problem with ATs/comms is that i only have experience drawing dragons gryphons and now tmnt #and the only background im confident in is drawing the sky/clouds xD #technically not much of a problem but i wont know what to do if you told me to “draw my werewolf” bc ive never done that b4 #and my artstyle is semirealistic and i spend HOURS on it so its a pain in the ass when im learning something new figuring out how to draw i #for ATs theres a 90% chance youd be stuck drawing Sagara bc i would give a kidney to see ppl throw art of her at me #unless you dont know how to draw dragons #its basically a 50/50 you get to draw either Sagara or Jr #either a dragon or tmnt oc :)#but tbh you dont need to get me into an art trade to get art from me #i like sporadically gifting nice people on the internet some art #<- currently my moots who interact with me enough for me to remember them/recognize em when they keep popping up in my notifs #and i go “OH HEY UR THE PERSON WITH THE *insert thing here*” and when i keep seeing them its hard to resist the temptation to throw art at #but also like- if you randomly gift me something ill probably try and gift you something back <3 #i also like giving my moots near death experiences when they choke on their coffee once they see ive drawn art for them
