besties once u read actual feminist theory off of tumblr dot com and queer theory and learn about women & lgbt history u will be set free i promise u
#i keep seeing these posts that r like WHY IS NO ONE SAYING (insert thing feminists said in the 1970s)#they’ve said it! read it! you’ll feel better knowing women before u said and fought for this#learn their methods of organizing learn what worked and what didn’t it’ll make u a better activist#like i think online activism is good only for its consciousness raising but u gotta get offline and get into the streets#and there’s a problem of like historic revisionism in how we discuss feminism and lgbt activism#this is a cliche and i hate it but THOSE WHO DONT KNOW HISTORY ARE DOOMED TO REPEAT IT#anyway if u want some book recommendations let me know lmaoo
