Can we collectively stop giving attention to accounts that only repost other people's content without a credit or permission?
It is simply extremely disrespectful and damaging for the content creators they are stealing from.
#yama talks#not art#and today yama rants about: art theft once again#and stealing and reposting other people's content in general#i constantly see these reposters whose 'content' is solely just stolen from other people#no credit whatsoever#and the fact that these kind of accounts tend to have a very large following too is extremely disappointing to see#we are better than this. if you see obviously reposted content then don't follow them#because that just creates an environment where art theft is acceptable#you can affect things with your own actions#follow only the original creators and support them directly#like and share the original posts#it's not that difficult
