this one makes me soft. i love me some vandays!fob, they're so 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺. and it's so immersive to follow along with patrick's thoughts here, and it's even better if you're super familiar with the movie, too. but i don't think it's necessary to have watched nightmare! when i found this fic initially, i had never seen it, but this fic convinced me to watch it. so good.

ohhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS ONE. OKOKOK patrick is: a dumbass. i LOVE this fic because i love any fic that tears into patrick’s psyche. but, i really do have a soft spot for this characterization of him: knowing he’s not necessarily a words guy, because he’s so used to pete being that for him, ‘cause he has been since he was sixteen years old. and patrick, hating his lack of words, summoning any he can possibly find before something happens, pete responds and something snaps and patrick resorts to action.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

historical medieval au my beloved <3 this fic is so heartstoppingly good it is so soft it is so illustrative it is sosososososo tender. and it’s from pete’s perspective!! i tend to gravitate more towards patrick’s pov but we love a change in pace. historical accuracy be damned, this au is wonderful and i think about it constantly. also, i remember the first time i read this, the moment pete and patrick finally lock eyes took my breath away. 

and yes i listed two toorational fics what abt it. she is very talented and one of the best peterick authors out there. read all of them, actually, they could all be on this list.

This one is currently ongoing!! I rarely-if-ever read chaptered fics before they’re finished, but the premise of this one was too compelling not to. and also, honeymoon is my fwiend!! and she’s sososo talented!! this fic has everything u could want: soulmates, mutual pining, mild gay panic, and pete&patrick being an obvious, inseperable duo (or at least, obvious to everyone but themselves). cannot wait to see how all of this unfolds :00000
