to be honest, i literally have no idea when the next part will come out. right now i'm kinda working on my thesis since that'll be due at the end of november, but once i get my rough draft done and submitted, it'll likely be smooth sailing from there. i've worked a little on wonwoo's part, but usually it takes me a while to sit down and commit to writing UtS since its a lot more work than other series are imo (there's a reason it comes out a lot more sporadically--writing for all thirteen members is exhausting when it's guaranteed to be a longer fic like all of the parts of UtS are. i literally have no idea how the first couple parts are relatively closer together)

nothing wrong with asking as long as you're being polite! i'd like to sit down and work on the next part soon when i get the chance, but it'll be pretty heavily based on whether i can get ahead in my studies + find motivation to sit down and work on UtS specifically (since i've admittedly been kinda working on sweet night lately ksfhsdf i've been experiencing mingyu brainrot lately..... send help)

i loved your most recent stuff with oikawa and akaashi!! i found it endearing how oikawa genuinely wants to make his relationship with the reader work despite the difficulties and how akaashi is attentive, sometimes to a fault

anyways i fell deeper down the rabbit hole that is going seventeen and i come bearing souvenirs >:3c i recently watched their human chess #1 and i thought it would fit the olympic team! tbh a lot of going seventeen content can fit just about all of the schools but i think i tend to go towards the national team because of the potential for all of the different dynamics and combinations

totally get what you're saying about the lacour endings; i probably wouldn't say i was disappointed by them, at least not at the time of reading (although that may be a more accurate descriptor considering them now) but they definitely tend to fall a bit flat.

this for sure helps a lot though ty! truthfully, idk what i thought yerba buena was going to be but literary fiction makes sense somehow? i try to read across a handful of genres so i'll keep that in mind for this book.

i'll def make sure to check triggers, but you talk about the vibes like one of those books that feels like a hug + lacour still has me in a chokehold, so i'm still excited to read it. but it's probably gonna be one that i'll let fester on that tbr for a while, bc i'm recovering from a bout of reading exclusively nonfiction/memoir + suffering from exam-induced brainrot atm, so i can really only tolerate fast paced plot driven shit rn, so this truly was helpful (thanks again <3)

yes! ive found with nina lacour's YA books, I think I would've been OBSESSED with them when I was 14 or at a point where I was just coming into my sexuality and accepting that. which I experience a lot reading YA, but that in itself has such value!

i also read across like every genre and I totally agree about recovering from school etc....if I had known it was literary fiction I don't think I would've jumped into it as quickly. i had seen people talking about it as if it was a romance! it's definitely not the fast paced plot driven recovery you might be needing.
