So Sue values her appearance in an almost slothful way... she hardly gets the time or money for it but she'll go to the salon and get her makeup done and her hair and eyebrows dyed (or maybe that's natural idk) , and it goes hand-in-hand with materialistic desires of wanting to be rich and drive nice cars and wear fur coats one day.

But this slothful, materialistic streak directly conflicts with her workaholic standards and her devout hatred for percieved "lazy" people.

But these traits are more about smth hedonistic then they are about maintaining beauty standards - shes not insecure abt how she looks, she doesn't think shes lacking in any way, she doesnt judge people TOO much based on how well they're performing social beauty standards - Sue has this quiet confidence and disregard for the "fake things" in life. She unfortunately has a slothful streak that she has to reconcile with and a materialistic streak that makes her hypocritical at times, but this is an example of a Self-Indulging Pride that does not come with its inverse of hidden insecurity.
