i realised the "antis" thing and the age-old joy of shipwars is one reason i don't comment on fic as much as i would otherwise - there's this fear that appears that the author will click through to my own Works and see that i have written The Bad Pairing (whichever one that is for that person, which i mostly have no way of knowing) or some trope that enrages them and they'll like. block me and/or reply angrily. as far as i know this has never actually happened to me and yet for some reason i still worry about it.

#the downside of multishipping is that you can end up writing EVERYONE'S NoTP at least once #btw one of the main reason i tag posts on tumblr with the relevant pairings is so people can filter it out if they want to #but like. if i comment on 10 yr old thorki fic will the author get offended by my sylki fics?#and will the sylki writer be angered when they see the thorki ones?#is this because 15 years ago someone on LiveJournal called me an “evil shipper troll” for a comment whose content i remember nothing of?#possibly!#gonna admit the “get followed by someone who has unfollowed me by the time i see the notification” MIGHT be getting to me a bit D:#anyway i'll try to comment more on things and to reblog things. at the risk of being blocked or flamed or whatever.
