Mentally I’m getting worse again (tho I try to do all the stuff I learned from two years in therapy to … prevent it from getting bad bad ), so I’ve only been thinking about how some of the Genshin characters would comfort me? So here have this, whatever this is, that I wrote at 2am on a night before I have 11am shift at work. Using you in all of this but honestly this is 100% self indulgent. I just want someone to cuddle with. Pretty sure most of this isn’t really in character and every point is vastly different from the others but hey, it is what it is. As long as I’m in my current mindset my stuff won’t be any better than this

Genre: fluff, a bit of angst I guess idk man, comfort i hope

Content warnings: depression (?) I don’t go too much into detail, don’t want to write out those negative thoughts HA but you know you are just not in a good spot in these, absolutely inconsistent writing, every character has to deal with a different stage of feeling depressed and yeah

Characters: Diluc, Childe, Albedo, Yoimiya

Fun fact: my app crashed while writing this so thank the tumblr admins that you can restore posts you wrote after the app crashes one of the few good features of the app

Diluc:

Would definitely notice the first small changes in your behaviour, but wouldn’t think much of it in the beginning.

Maybe you are just tired? And even if not Diluc knows best that no one can always be chipper.

Still he doesn’t know how to act around you when you are sad / heading towards a depressive episode.

He would offer you his help, you just need to say what you need and he’ll give it to you.

Ah, but Diluc didn’t really consider at first that you would be too afraid to ask, even when he offered it to you.

One day he will directly ask you in the privates of your home if you are okay. At first you would try to brush it off, not wanting to be a burden on Diluc. You know how much he’s been through and that he also has his emotional scars… would be a bit selfish to dump it all onto him, wouldn’t it?

But oh, you’ve been dying to talk with someone about your feelings, craving a warm hug and words of comfort… so when Diluc doesn’t drop the topic you just let it all out.

He will take you in his arms and hug you, cuddle you, as long as you want. He’ll stroke your hair, quietly listening to your words, only small “mmmhs” and “it’s okay” leaving him, to reassure you that it’s fine for sharing it all.

When none of you talks all you can hear is his steady breath and oh, it’s so soothing.

Maybe you end up crying, while sharing all of it with him. All he does is to pull you closer into his chest, saying that it’s okay and tell you to let it all out.

Diluc hides his softer side from the people of Mondstadt, always hiding behind the more grumpy image some of him have, but he knows that it’s not good to run away from your own feelings. What you need to do is to feel them, do not try to push them aside because you are uncomfortable with them.

Generally he would be soft, kind and understanding. At first he might give you too much room, afraid he might be overstepping a boundary when he keeps pushing you in the beginning. Ends up in you isolating yourself / pulling away more, but once Diluc sees the pattern he will be more attentive to your needs and learn to differentiate between you needing space and you isolating.

Though please communicate with him better, he’s busy and if him having less time for you causes you distress you need to tell him, he might only notice it after the feelings festered.

Childe:

Oh boy - he hasn’t seen you in a while, Fatui duties you know, so when he knocks on your door one day he notices immediately that you are not in a good place.

This man - he cooks, he cleans, we all joke about him being the perfect husband but seriously. He sees the state of you, the state of your apartment and immediately helps.

Having spend the last week or two in a depressive state caused you to neglect your housework - the dirty dishes are everywhere and laundry keeps piling up. Not to talk about how you look.

Childe will make you a bath and while you’re in it he cleans. An immense help!!! Taking away a good chunk of thinks that made you feel just so overwhelmed and helpless.

The whole time he wouldn’t breach the topic of why it has come to that point, but now after you finished the bath and the apartment looks liveable again he asks you what’s wrong.

Honestly you don’t know yourself, you’ve been just lacking more and more energy to do the basic tasks and suddenly everything was a mess.

Will wipe away your tears and tell you “don’t cry, I’m here”, taking you in a hug.

When he’s around more, will he notice it when it slowly gets worse? Mmh, yeah!! He definitely notice when you are feeling more down, seeing how your interactions change and how your laughs become more forced.

In the beginning he will just try to make you feel all the “positive” feelings, not wanting you to feel any “negative” emotions at all

this man definitely represses his own trauma a lot and has a horrible way of coping with it so I doubt he would be the most emotionally intellectual person to help you through it

Though when you show that you don’t feel like showing your sadness aside and you just want someone to share it with / need some comfort he will adjust to your needs

Albedo:

Boy as impeccable observation skills, he will notice immediately when something is off.

However - he somehow struggles to understand your feelings. Like. At all.

When he asks you what’s wrong and you tell him that there is not a reason for your feelings, you just feel a bit depressed that’s all, he will not get it.

How do you feel a certain emotions without something causing it? There must be a reason for it.

And honestly he’s right there is always a reason for a certain feeling to arise, but sometimes they aren’t easy to understand for yourself or to spot, sometimes it’s just that your inner child needs a hug and it takes you three weeks and a metal breakdown to understand that this is all you needed… plus a good cry

He’s gonna be so awkward at trying to comfort you, making you feel better, at first. Trying everything out to cheer you up, he really doesn’t want you to feel bad. Asks around for advice what helps others when they are sad.

Honestly? The things he does, the small presents he gifts you - they are nice and make you feel loved, but it doesn’t make the bad feelings go away. Even worse it somehow builts up this immense pressure for you to get better quick because look! Albedo does nice things, he tries to help. He tries to figure it out. Why can’t you give him the results he hopes to get???

Only when someone (Timadeus for sure) finally tells Albedo that it’s not a special dish or flower or even place that helps with sad feelings - it’s that they remind them of something that’s comforting. Klee told him Dodoco helps when she’s sad, because Dodoco reminds her how much her mum loves her. So when people told him about certain foods or flowers - it was more because those were valuable for those individuals, doesn’t mean it has value to you. Most importantly is that he’s just there for you.

With that new bits of information he will try to adjust to your needs more, to learn what you need and to understand it.

He will be so upfront about it too, coming into your room and telling you that he’s been trying to make you feel better the past couple of weeks and noticing how your mood has not improved at all. Finally asks you what you need opposed to him only having asked why you feel that way

Will definitely make you cry with how he approaches the topic. When he apologises for making you cry you cry even harder at how soft he says it.

Albedo will remember what he was told, that it’s important to just be there for someone, so he will stay at your side, his hand on your back rubbing it while you are just sobbing.

After the tears have calmed down you can just be honest with him, tell him that you sometimes don’t know yourself what will make it better, that sometimes you just have to life with the feelings and accept them - but that his attempts really didn’t help.

He will apologise for putting more pressure on you, asking if you need a hug (something a lot of people have told him helps them but he was just to shy to actually try it out). After saying yes you both stay for a long time in the hug, the first thing in a long time to make you feel better.

Yoimiya:

My love, the light of my life, my future main - she would be SO good at helping you through an episode.

Notices the way you act towards her changes and immediately confronts you about it, afraid that something in the relationship is amiss until you tell her the truth that you are a bit depressed.

Canonically the one with the best communication skills, if you were to put her, Diluc and Kaeya in a room I’m 1000% sure those two would leave it as brothers again.

That said she can sometimes be a bit too overwhelming - she can talk a lot, but she’s a good listener too, but in her attempt to fix the issue she goes a bit overboard.

She’ll want you to talk it all out which isn’t a bad thing per se, but sometimes you just don’t feel like talking or that talking would help.

However the way Yoimiya is it will make you communicate with her more about how you feel and what you need - she kinda just seems to be more approachable and the kind of person you can pour my heart out to after meeting her on the toilets of a bar.

Will cuddle you as long as you need.

And honestly? 100% sure she would even make you a firework to cheer you up that you both watch from her favourite spot on a blanket while doing so (the cuddling!)

what if Thoma was rambling to Ayaka or Yoimiya about how frustratingly much he adores you and thinks about you every day (yknow normal crush stuff) while you’re standing right outside, and when you walk in, he’s scrambling to act casual like he wasn’t just spilling all his feelings about you to his friends

[18:47] "I just don't know what to do. I don't know if I can wait any longer!" Thoma protests, exasperated and frustrated and every other negative adjective his mind can think of.

"Thoma, calm down." Ayaka coos soothingly, placing a hand on his shoulder while he pouts up at his friend like a wounded puppy.

"Yeah, buddy! You gotta tell us what's wrong first." Yoimiya giggles, unaware of the distressing situation Thoma has been in for at least a month. It's not that he's good at hiding his clear affection for you (it's seemingly obvious to everyone but you), it's just that the only one he's given confirmation of his feelings to is the, ever reliable, Ayaka.

Thoma sighs, reaching up to ruffle his own blonde locks as his cheeks start getting redder at the prospect of having to admit his feelings a second time and not even to the object of his affections.

"So you know y/n- I like them..." He admits sheepishly when Yoimiya nods excitedly. Of course she knows who he's talking about, everyone does. When the rest of the sentence clicks in her mind, she raises a brow, "Yeah, I know that. I mean, those eyes you keep making at them makes it pretty clear." she chuckles at Thoma's distressed expression.

"Yeah, to everyone but them." Ayaka and Thoma reply, both equally frustrated.

"Now that I think about it though, I don't really know why." The girl smirks as the other two blink at her, until Ayaka catches what the glint in the girl's eyes means.

If Thoma tells them exactly what he likes about you out loud, perhaps he'll work up the nerve to tell you all that himself. So Ayaka stays silent with an encouraging smile even when the boy turns to her pleadingly.

"Well," with the bashful tension on his shoulders he could've easily been standing with his feet pointing inwards and his pointer fingers poking each other - like an embarrassed school girl. "how could I not? From the first day, they have always been so kind, funny, reliable... They always compliment my cooking, help me out with cleaning up after class, even if it's not their turn to do so. And I know that all seems like the bare minimum, but I really take it to heart every time!"

"And that's not even all, since the first day I noticed right away how beautiful they were. That wonderful smile, does things to my heart." He chuckles, cheeks even redder while he messes with his ponytail.

"When did you realize that you, like like them?" Yoimiya nudges him suggestively, not at all aiding in cooling down his overheating face.

It was the third day since you started helping Thoma with cleaning up after class, the fourth since you realized he did it everyday, alone.

You exchanged pleasantries but not much else, as Thoma was too consumed by his silly, crush induced panic and you were too focused on not messing up in order to impress the prettiest boy in class.

"Why do you always clean up by yourself? You know it's everyone's responsibility, right?" You suddenly asks, watching as he jumps.

"I like it? Why are you helping me out?" Thoma shoots back, "Maybe because it's my day?" you reply with a smile as he blinks.

"Someone asked me to do it. And since I like it, I don't really mind the work." He shrugs while continuing to clean the floor of stray papers. Your brows furrow with concern, "Thoma," the boy can't help but blush furiously, you just said his name! And so tenderly, hearts must be replacing his pupils at the sound, "you know they're just taking advantage of your kindness, right? No matter if you like doing it or not, it's not fair."

"I know," He admits, "but it's ok. Everyone needs someone to take care of them, to protect them, and I'm used to being that someone, plus this isn't much different from that."

"But do you have anyone to protect you?" He looks up at you, bewildered by your words for a moment an dinky then realizing that you're suddenly much closer to him, "If not, then I'll do it. I'll be the one to protect you! So, next time you plan to stay after class to do someone else's work, talk to me first and maybe," your sudden burst of childlike confidence seems to deflate as Thoma stands up to his full height with eyes that sparkle like emeralds, "m-maybe I'll find a better use for your time."

By the time you finished your sentence, he might as well have a wagging tail behind him with how content he looked.

"Who're you talking about?"

When Thoma looks around for help upon hearing your voice, he realizes he's suddenly alone when he looks around and all the red is suddenly drained from his face.

He just said that out loud. To no one for who knows how long. With the most lovestruck expression on his face.

And you heard it all. He knows it by the blush on your face that matches his so perfectly.

Taking a deep breath, he stills his nervously clenching hands. It's the opening he's been hoping for, even if he still doesn't know if you feel the same way. But his friends wouldn't have left him alone in such a situation if they knew you don't feel the same way, right? Right.

"You." You're stunned by his sudden boldness, standing still as you feel the heat crawl down your neck. "I heard what you said about me,"

"I don't think I'm all that special, at all." Those words make him move towards your bashful figure.

He grabs you by the shoulders, "I think you are! Didn't you hear what I just said?" he asks, almost pleading for you to see yourself the way he sees you.

"Remember when you told me to make better use of my time? Well, let's go do that!" Thoma says before you can reply, all you can do is stare and nod slowly before he grabs your hand and whisks you away to his favorite spot, face as red as his jacket with no hope of changing color with the way you grasp his hand back.

His friends high-five just around the corner at their success.

I just finished Inazuma and I have words

TL;DR: Hate the story, mixed on characters, love the design and tired of being treated like a 4-year-old with a learning disability.

SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT

Let’s start with what I like.

Inazuma is absolutely beautiful. I’ll admit Inazuma hits a lot of aesthetic points for me. All the islands are different enough to feel unique but they still look like they are a part of the same land. There are a lot of secrets to discover through just exploring. Each island has a world quest to help it (make it less hostile towards you) so it very much feels like you are saving Inazuma from itself.

The puzzles are alright.

I like the cubes that rotate, I always put in the effort to figure them out properly.

Hate the ones that don’t rotate, they just aren’t engaging enough for me, so I just hit them at random and hope for the best.

The glowing floor tiles were fun, once you actually realized what they wanted you to do. A little bit too easy if I’m honest.

The electro compass isn’t really much of a puzzle, more of a fetch the nearest electrograna quest.

Those little pillars that require an electro connection are kinda boring to me, again not much of a puzzle, the hardest part is finding both pillars.

I love the new electro seelie, kinda hard to follow the jittery thing in certain parts but they make a nice contrast to the regular seelies.

I’m very much mixed on characters.

Yoimiya is adorable. She is so bright and bubbly. What little game play we had with her was fun and I love her over the top style of fighting. Kinda disappointed she’s another pyro archer but I do admit it fits her character well. It was also wonderful seeing her just settle down and be quiet, just be a part of that moment that obviously meant a lot to her. It’s always nice to see that bubbly, energetic character have that one quiet thing, ya know. Kinda funny it’s fireworks, of all things, for her.

Gorou I like, from what little we’ve seen of him. My man killed a dude with his thighs so I’m down. I do find it kinda ridiculous that a resistance general has his whole damn belly exposed. There is also something about his voice that just does not fit. I cannot for the life of me put my finger on what exactly it is. Could be the tone itself, could be just voice acting. It sort of feels like the VA is trying to sound deeper than he actually does.

Sangonomiya Kokomi, mixed. I like her design, she looks like some sort of mystical priestess. Again something about the voice is jarring. I expected her to sound sort of airy, like she isn’t 100% present, like she’s seeing something we can’t. TBH she reminds me of Luna from HP for some reason. 

Yae Miko, I was interested because of her design. She sounds very arrogant and up her own ass, which would have been fine...if she hadn’t given us that god-awful line. “...I have high hopes for you, child. Don’t disappoint me.” Dear lord I wanted to punt her off the mountain. Or fucking what! Also she’s some bigshot priestess of the Sacred Sakura and yet she can’t do her damn job properly. Why couldn’t her arrogant ass come down from her high perch and cleanse the stupid roots? Why did the traveler have to do that shit?

Baal looks dead inside. Booba sword is overrated, get a life. I want a remach! And no cutscene shenanigans this time!

Kujou Sara seems like one of those ‘honor above all else’ characters. Those are either hit or miss with me. You have my attention for now. Also what are those shoes woman?! I’d rather you wear those leg-killing, needle point stilettoes instead of those Wish gag shoes. How in the name of all that is holy can you run in those?!

Thoma, I like him. At first I thought we were gonna get another Childe incident, but Thoma is too much of a innocent puppy to pull anything that horrible. To me he fits a fox a lot better than Childe does. Childe is a dingo and I stand behind that.

Kamisato Ayaka...hate her. At first I was neutral on her. Nothing about her design really spoke to me, but I was willing to wait and see. But then miHoYo started to violently push her friendship at us. We are totally friends now, this is the first time you see my face, but we are so totally friends now. And during her story quest everyone was like “Ah, you are so good Ayaka. You are so nice Ayaka. You are so perfect Ayaka. We all love you so much Ayaka. And oh, how could a mere merchant like myself...” Ew, go away. This is the first time I’m actively not pulling on a character banner. Normally I pull even if I’m not particularly interested in a character, because you never know how good their gameplay is until you take them out in the map. But I think I’ll be skipping this one. No thanks.

And now, the worst part, the story.

We’ve been hearing about the situation in Inazuma for a long time. There has been also a lot of talk about how hard it is to get there. About the wall of thunderclouds that surround the islands. So to have it cut to black and then voila Inazuma, feel just so cheap.

I was expecting something. An animation. A struggle. A quest. A minigame. At least show us the horrible weather! Something! Anything!

Hell if they wanted to be assholes about it they could have made it so that if the player fails at this point the ship is damaged, you return to Liyue and have to wait until tomorrow for the ship to be repaired. No Inazuma for today. That sure as hell would have raised the stakes.

The next complaint I have is with Yurika, the 2 milion mora processing fee girl. Later on Thoma mentions that the agency people see the fees as easy money, so her attitude doesn’t make much sense. After all someone like her would want to extract as much money as she can, but you still want the people to be able to pay that.

So it would make more sense to me if she was overly friendly and asked way too many questions. She’d need to get a much information as she can and after all the previous hostility people would be very open with her. So she’d be able to quickly find out why someone is here, what they are selling and roughly how much money they’d be able to pay. A merchant selling expensive silk would have more many than a regular ore merchant. So she’d be able to extract as much money as she could.

“I know this is a lot of money, especially for something so simple, but there is nothing I can do about it. I’m so very sorry.” And people wouldn’t say anything bad to her because she’s the first friendly face they see in Inazuma.

The stealth mission was just god-awful and I hope we never have to do that nonsense again.

Getting off of Ritou was a bit janky at the end, Chisato should have had a better reason for coming along. But I’m honestly just glad we didn’t get out the usual way...getting stuffed in a crate and smuggled out.

As a side note, I’m getting really tired of characters overexplaining things to me, especially Paimon. Dear lord, not everything has to be said, you can leave me to come to my own conclusions and solutions. Just please, who cares if a few player struggle for a bit, you don’t have to hold my hand through the whole thing.

Ayaka’s three were...ugh. It was basic emotional manipulation. Oh no this guy forgot about the love of his life and he’s been waiting for decades. And oh how sad this guy was so good and he helped these people so much but now he can’t remember. And oh the tragedy this guy forgot his life goal and is now hunted by the demons of the past. Oh the humanity! 

And it did not work. Know why? Because I have no emotional investment in any of these people, in this land. What is happening to the vision bearers in Inazuma is tragic, true, but that doesn’t make me want to overthrow the government. I don’t live here. I just got here. I wanna ask a question or two and then move on. None of this concerns me.

I was so happy when the traveler just flat out refused to start a revolution. And then we had to go and meet some people and immediately I knew this was going to be some oh noes the tragedy moments and then we would agree to help them.

It’s so forced.

Wanna know what would have been better?

Just as we are leaving the Kamisato estate Thoma catches up with us. And he tells us he gets it. We are an outsider and this doesn’t concern us. He was hopeful but he expected the denial. We shouldn’t hold it against Ayaka.

He joins us as a guide because he knows of the people we have to meet.

And so as we help these three we also get to know Thoma. We find out he was an outsider too. He got in just before the worst of it started and then he was stuck in Inazuma. He lost someone to the Vision Hunt. They slowly lost their mind after loosing their vision, their ambition too closely tied to their personality to continue without it (what is happening to Domon hits a little too close to home and he has to walk away, this is where we hear the story of the one he lost). And the same would have happened to him if the Kamisatos hadn't taken him in. He owes them his vision, his sanity and his life.

So this rebellion is personal for him.

At the end of the three wishes the atmosphere is somber. We tell him we understand why Ayaka fights, why he fights. We know that this is all wrong, that it should be stopped...but not by us. We came here to get a lead on our brother. And rebellion isn’t an overnight affaire and we can’t loose so much time in Inazuma.

And yeah, he expected as much. He just asks that we let Ayaka down gently. It’d be a shame if someone as idealistic and hopeful as her lost their spark.

And so we are gentle but firm with Ayaka. She looks like she wants to argue with us but Thoma shakes his head at her. So she sighs and tells us that a promise is a promise. We should come to the Komore Teahouse in a few days and she’ll have a plan for us to meet with the Shogun.

Now we can still have a character story quest with Yoimiya and we can still somehow get involved with helping Master Masakatsu, but it’s through Yoimiya instead of Ayaka.

And instead of a character story quest with Ayaka we have one with Thoma. Hell, give him a whole damn hangout event even.

You can probably guess why I’m pushing the friendship with Thoma so much.

Because. He. Gets. Kidnapped. For. The. 100th. Vision. Ceremony. 

And that would have been the perfect emotional in to get us involved in the rebellion. After all we just saw what happens to people who have their visions taken away and we are not letting that happen to Thoma, someone we just got close to.

So Baal makes it personal for us as well.

I have a few more minor complaints.

Aoi is stupid for asking for compensation after she tells us everything we needed to know because, ya know, we could have just walked away. We should have.

The whole stupid misunderstanding about the value Kurosawa’s sword holds. Kinda obvious he meant emotional value instead of monetary.

The suspicious amount of visionless NPCs and by that I mean this is the first time we have NPCs with vision. This wouldn’t have been a problem if we’ve seen NPCs with visions in Mond and Liyue.

The whole rebellion camp bit feels incredibly rushed. We just sort of lollygag over there and then there is a fight (against Sara and her stupid shoes).

Don’t make us fight Baal just to force us to lose. It would have been better if we were forced to retreat, because Thoma was injured, because there are too many soldiers for us to handle on our own. Hell, you can have a funny scene where we straight up jump off a cliff with Thoma clinging onto us and screaming bloody murder until he realizes we are slowly gliding away and he’s not about to plummet to his death.

The Sakura cleansing quest should have been voice acted.

The Mirror Maiden and Pyro Agent are totally on a date, I will not be told otherwise.

Fluff | beidou x ningguang

Another day for the Crux Fleet to set sail for other nations. The captain, Beidou, orders her crew members to do their tasks as usual. Their checkups, preparations, orders and deliveries all need to be completed before they move on.

Next stop: Snezhnaya. The nation of cryo. People are terrified of the Tsaritsa. But that archon? She’s nothing to Beidou. Everyone fears Beidou but Beidou fears no one. Either way, that’s beside the point.

Beidou hasn’t seen Ninggaung for a week already, she’s been far too busy running around Liyue gathering materials before they depart. Although they aren’t together, there are clearly some feelings sparking between each other like Yoimiya’s fireworks. Well, Ningguang doesn’t know who Yoimiya is, but Beidou does, so whatever.

‘Captain Beidou! We can go now,, whenever you’re ready captain!’

One last time for months, Beidou looks out for Ningguang, she doesn’t expect her to be here, of course, but just to make sure.

Seeing that Ningguang is not here, Beidou let out a sigh and looked at Liyue one more time before setting off to Snezhnaya. But when she turns around, someone unexpected awaits her.

‘You didn’t think I was going to let you leave without seeing me first, did you?’

It was Ningguang. In her hand holds a silky black scarf.

‘What’s that?’

‘My parting gift for you.’

Oh.

OH.

Well that took an even more unexpected turn. Being the one to break almost every law of Liyue, Beidou would’ve never thought that the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing would give her a gift after everything.

Although they wouldn’t necessarily call Beidou a ‘criminal’, she’s still not the best influence you can find out there.

‘This is a scarf made with Liyue’s finest brocades. I specially asked for these materials to be specially prepared for this… and I sewed this myself. You should keep warm in Snezhnaya. You’d better come back in one piece, or I’ll never forgive you.’

Okay. Don’t panic Beidou. These words totally aren’t coming from your love’s mouth. It’s fine. Totally.

Yeah it’s not okay. Beidou has always had feelings for Ningguang. It was love at first sight. Beidou felt butterflies flying in her stomach every time she saw Ningguang. How ironic for the captain of the mighty Crux Fleet to be so vulnerable to a girl. Ningguang just has so much power over her.

Anyways, it’s time to act cool again.

One of the Crux Fleet members makes sure the dock is safe for Ningguang and bickers for her to get off carefully.

Ningguang takes one more look at Beidou one more time. She then grabs Beidou by her cheeks and gives her a peck on the lips.

OKAY. NOT. OKAY. BEIDOU, IS NOT OKAY RIGHT NOW.

Is she hallucinating? Did Ningguang just kiss her on the lips? This isn’t her first kiss, of course, but this is the first time for someone she’s in love with to kiss her. Oh gods, how was she supposed to react to that? This was all too sudden.

Spending her time thinking of a proper response, she spent too much time. Ningguang waved to her and elegantly stepped off the ship. Beidou’s face was as red as a tomato. Unexpected. What just happened. What just happened to Beidou?

She’s not complaining though.
